Although this hotel is on a busy street in the midst of plazas, it’s spotless with friendly front desk staff, has a spacious and bright dining room for a nice breakfast that’s well organized and clean! Also nice is that there’s a pool with a bar that opens to the pool and indoor dining area! Plenty of parking.

We were told at the time we made our reservation that early check-in would be available for us (family of 2 adults and 2 children) only to arrive at 10am and be told nothing would be available until 11am. We checked at 11am and were told not until 12pm, then again told nothing was ready at 12pm. We had an appointment at 1, so we had lunch and went to our appointment. When we checked in at 4ish, the room had an overwhelming smell of weed. It was so bad that we could not stay and left for another hotel in a MUCH better area. Not a family friendly hotel, the area of the hotel was quite sketchy (adult store next door)!

We just returned home from our weekend getaway to St. Petersburg West. Although we arrived a bit earlier than the 3:00 PM check-in time, we were greeted warmly and taken care of quickly, which was much appreciated. Once we got to our room, we noticed that the light-filtering shade was not clean and had a noticeable stain. The rest of the room was as expected—nothing fancy, but comfortable enough. The bathroom was clean overall; however, the shower floor could have used a deeper cleaning, as it would benefit from a little extra attention. It would also be nice if the hotel provided a few more towels. There was only one set per person (there were just two of us), and having an extra bath towel available would have been a nice touch. Yesterday, before checkout, I noticed that I had been charged twice for our stay. Before leaving, I stopped at the front desk to report the issue. Heidi, who had also checked us in and was very sweet, handled the situation professionally and looked into it right away. Although I had to call again the next morning because the issue hadn’t yet been resolved, I spoke with Heidi again and she assured me that the credit has now been processed. I will be keeping an eye on my account to confirm the refund. Overall, it was a nice stay

Nice clean rooms , comfortable beds , air condoning work great very nice staff, great location , clean pool and area. I stayed on the 4 th floor the ice machine was removed so you had to find another one else where. In all a nice stay . Not a big issue to me .But if I had to make a complaint . It would the 15.00 breakfast buffet. Ehh . No problem for me . But if your feeding a small family . It would get pricey for it. But bottom line I would stay here again

Absolutely fantastic experience staying here! Shout out to Tiffany at the front desk! She was really great at accommodating our needs upon arrival and making us feel comfortable. Also Emilio for his hospitality and kindness! Howard was very personable and made sure we knew he was available if there was anything that we needed! Lastly the bar tenders Shannon and Kyle were very friendly and personable. Definitely would recommend staying here! Close to a lot of things to do as well! Overall saved our trip from the first place we had booked.. Thank you to all of the staff here at the Holiday Inn!
