Both my mother and I stayed at The Roth for Mother’s Day weekend and we had an amazing time!! The location is perfect, a 2 minute walk from the beach. With yummy restaurants and bars nearby. Room was very clean, and had a very comfortable and homey environment. I loved the decorations and came equipped with everything you need. We will definitely be staying here again in the future! Definitely recommend.

Absolutely LOVED staying here this past weekend to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The room was beautiful, clean and so spacious. They have beach chairs, umbrellas for you to use as well. Walking distance from the beach and places to eat. We will definitely be coming back and will be recommending it to all our friends. They also left us a super cute sticker and postcard to take home and also adorable pink souvenir cups! LOVED it and can’t wait for our next visit.

The Roth is truly a hidden gem! What a spectacular little hotel. We traveled to Treasure Island/Sunset beach with our two young children for our school break this February, and we were blown away by the Roth. Perfect, clean rooms with tasteful decor and furniture, charming back deck with a sunrise views and incredible wildlife on view with your morning coffee (Herons! Dolphins! Sea Turtles!) and a less-than-5-minute walk to an incredible beach through a quiet residential neighborhood. The onsite pool was clean and lovely, and the community of guests and nearby residents were all welcoming, kind, and respectful. The staff were also incredibly attentive and helpful, and there was a real sense of community and hospitality to the whole experience. Really, just a special and unique place! There are great restaurants nearby, and a fully stocked supermarket just up the road for cooking and anything one might need. The property is also a short drive to the stunning Fort De Soto Park, as well as the charming and bustling city of St. Petersburg. We wish we had more time to stay and keep exploring! We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for our family vacation - we will be back for sure!

We had a lovely stay at the Roth Hotel in January. We loved the beach on Treasure Island, and the view of the waterfrom our hotel room on the canal side of the island. Walking around was very pleasant. The reason for only four stars on location is that there was still a fair amount of damage from hurricanes, including damaged or missing portions of the boardwalk; also, there were few restaurants on Treasure Island, so going out to eat meant a short car ride into St. Pete's Beach or elsewhere. The room was great, very clean and comfortable, especially the bed; we appreciated the kitchenette for breakfast and tea in the evening. The bathroom was a bit small, and could have used a few more shelves and a light over the shower stall. There also was no exhaust fan for the bathroom, but this didn't seem to cause any issues. We never needed services from the hotel staff, and they were not intrusive, which suited us fine. All in all, we would recommend the Roth Hotel - it was a great stay if you're looking for a place in a more quiet area. We don't regret our stay, but in the future might want to stay in an area with restaurants and shops within walking distance, such as St. Pete's Beach or Pass-a-Grille.

We stayed at the Roth Hotel Boutique for five nights and six days, and it truly is a small gem. From the moment you arrive, you’re welcomed by an adorable tropical courtyard that sets the tone for a relaxing stay. There is plenty of outdoor seating overlooking the waterway, making it the perfect spot to enjoy the sunrise. The pool is just the right size, inviting and never overcrowded. The hotel is conveniently located just one block from the beach, allowing for easy walks to take in the most beautiful sunsets. We stayed in Room 7, which offered wonderful views of the waterway. The room was spacious and thoughtfully laid out, featuring a living room with a queen pullout couch, a small kitchen/dining area, a separate bedroom with an extremely comfortable king-size bed, and a well-appointed bathroom. The property is nicely updated and exceptionally well maintained. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. The location was perfect for us, clean, safe, and close to great restaurants and entertainment. We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the Roth Hotel Boutique to anyone looking for a charming, relaxing getaway.
