We loved everything about the 1888 Hotel. Great communication , perfect location, and incredibly well appointed (including quality toilet paper and products). Someone really paid attention to electrical outlets everywhere and a great coffee maker . Even the sofa bed was comfortable and the AC nice and cold. I would definitely stay there again

Enjoyable stay at this historic hotel. Very clean and quiet. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They personally introduced themselves and answered any questions. The room was smaller but it had everything I needed. It reminded me of European historic hotels I’ve stayed in. I was able to walk to some great restaurants. Enjoyed the second floor balcony and visiting with some other guests. The main floor front porch was very clean and inviting. I felt very comfortable and safe during my stay. I would recommend and I would stay again! Also thank you for the coffee. I needed coffee and it was really good!

My husband and I stayed here for four nights, our room was little but we had everything we needed. The balcony on the second floor was relaxing and a great place to have our lunch. Vinoy Park was a 15 minute walk. Shops and restaurants are a few blocks away, great walking neighborhood. The staff was wonderful and right there if we needed anything. We will definitely stay here again. Free Trolly picks up out front of hotel and Free Trolly to Tampa Rays baseball game was 4 blocks south of the hotel. Great Location

I stayed at the 1888 Hotel and overall had a really enjoyable experience. The location is fantastic—super central and only about a 20-minute drive to the beach, which made it easy to explore both downtown and the coastline. I loved being able to walk everywhere nearby, with plenty of great spots just steps away. The rooms were charming and thoughtfully decorated, with a cozy, boutique feel. The bed was very comfortable, everything was clean, and the decor added a really cute, unique touch. Check-in and check-out were seamless, and accessing the room was quick and hassle-free, which made the stay feel very easy and convenient. Parking was a bit tricky and required a little patience, but having free parking available was definitely a big plus. Overall, it’s a great spot if you’re looking for a comfortable, well-located stay with character.

It’s been a full year and we’re still displaced from the hurricane and it’s been very stressful and difficult after losing our in treasure island . The 1888 totally blew my mind with how accommodating they are and how nice and well taken care of the hotel is. You can tell they put money into their property the attention to detail, to the appliances to the spice rack that’s actually filled and has variety, they even leave you decaf and regular coffee. This is super clean and well kept up I’m very particular and usually wear house shoes inside at all times at hotels/airbnb but I didn’t feel like I needed too because it’s immaculate. Not even dust on the ceiling fans . The general manager Mike is so kind as well you can tell he likes his job and takes pride in it. Not only did they work out an extra parking pass for the garage but allowed me a super early check in. Gia spent over 30 mins on the phone with me to extend my reservation and move me to the grand central which does longer term stays she went above and beyond to book my reservation and offer me a killer price especially during this time of year. Not only did Gia coordinate and book my whole reservation. She looked into future bookings for me and gave me multiple options to try and accommodate me and make sure I didn’t have to move around a lot like a few days here or a few days there type deal which she didn’t have to do. She made sure to communicate and reiterate everything I was looking for and was also cheerful and bubbly the whole phone conversation. Gia also informed me I could check out when my unit was ready at another one of their properties which is just chefs kiss . I typically don’t leave reviews this long but I give praise when praise is due . Beyond my expectations truly a unique boutique motel well taken care of renovated and chic, with a great location less than a 10 minute walk to beach drive/the pier. This is truly a hidden gem. Worth every penny . The only thing they need is a little better sound proofing around the doors because you can def hear people if they aren’t respectful of the quiet time rule.

We spent a few days at Hotel 1881 in St. Petersburg, Florida, and were very impressed. The hotel is cozy, very clean, and the rooms are well-equipped. It’s just a short walk to cafes, museums, and the waterfront. The staff is attentive and friendly — you truly feel like a welcomed guest. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort and a great location!

Right in the heart of Everything you need. This very clean Hotel was a Class Act. I was very impressed with everything. Parking Garage was nearby -which kept my truck safe and secure. The GM Mike was on the premises. He gave us a warm welcome. Room was immaculate. This Hotel is the #1 reason why we are coming back. We will be returning soon. Thank you 1888 for being you.

Good vibes, excellent location, and close to coffee!! Cant wait to do it again! What an amazing little spot!! This place far exceeded my expectations. I stayed at the "apartment style" room on the second floor and it was just perfect. My highlights are - extremely comfy bed and pillows, the bathroom had everything I needed, the kitchen area was very roomy with every appliance imaginable. The BONUS is that if you love coffee, KAHWA is right on the corner about 600 feet from the entrance. All other St Pete fun stuff is all within walking distance. I love that this place is just one block on the "not so busy" side of St Pete. As for parking, I have a high vehicle so I wasnt able to use the parking garage, but I was lucky enough to find street parking right at the front entrance every night. Street Parking is FREE from 10pm to 8am. SO party late and wake up early! I cant wait to stay here again. The virtual staff was excellent and I had no issues checking in or checking out.

Modern, comfortable, cozy, and welcoming. It was really nice to have a kitchen! Location was great - walking distance to the waterfront, shops, restaurants, and the Pier, but far enough away that it was quiet enough at night. (Also walking distance to North Shore Aquatic Complex.) You can tell that the owners/staff really care about details. They are very accommodating and responsive. I would definitely stay here again!

We had an amazing time. Our room was room 305 the honeymoon suite it wasn’t huge, but it was just what we needed everything that we needed to cook relax and head to our venue we had. They do have other rooms that are larger if you wanted more space. But it is definitely not tiny. Worth the money for sure. The hotel itself is elegant yet Progressive. They had great music piped in To the front porch and the ample seating area in the foyerevery morning for relaxing coffee time. We met all the owners and they were amazing people. Mike was a fabulous host. He helped us with everything we needed. I will definitely be booking my stay next year as soon as we get the dates for the Reggae Fest. Thanks again guys for treating us like Family!
