16 days agoWe were overall satisfied with our stay here. Our visit was for a short 2 night weekend. The RV park is close to restaurants and businesses. It was easy to get in and out of the area. The staff was amazing! Two things we didn't care for: small sites and lack of shade for the lot we got assigned, it was very hot, but there are sites with plenty of shade. Keep in mind this is mostly a permanent residential park, but being a visitor was a pleasant experience. We would stay again.

3 months agoMe and my family had a very pleasant there. We arrived late on a sunday and Melisa, the manager, and her son, Shane, were very kind to us! Honestly, sometimes, it isn't about the place that you stay in, but the people who are there, people that care about you, and that was what I felt it there.

about 1 year agoI pre booked in the Fall of 2024 for a few days in January and again in March 2025. The booking went smoothly and when I arrived I received a very warm welcome from the camp host, Melissa. My site was upgraded from a 30-amp to a 50-amp site and then I was guided to the site and into position by a staff member who knew exactly how to give RV directions. On my second visit I was given the original 30-amp site which I actually preferred. Again, Melissa was there and I was greeted with a warm welcome. The park is neat and tidy, well run, quiet and not filled with permanent dwellings where you are squeezed in between. The only reason for not giving 5 stars (should have offered a 4.5 option) is there is no garbage collection and the bin is a bit of a walk. I like this park and plan to book again for next year.

over 1 year agoWe come down in January with our motor home and have stayed til the end is March. Each family has their own lot. Lots are equipped with water, sewer, electric and cable. Some lots have trees. Also park models. Close to shopping and only about 20 minutes from beaches

In making the seasonal residency move, and knowing very little of what to look for in moving 13 hours away; there is no way we could have done this without the amazing staff at Scottish Traveler. From the moment we arrived, this place felt like home… the campers here are beyond welcoming and go out of their way to make you feel at home.
