Linens are dated, and cleaning is slack at times The rugs are filthy. We do love the location though as is right on the beach. Lots of things to do and places to eat. You will never be bored.

Right on the beach! Office staff were very friendly. On site laundry room (at cost, but very convenient). Rooms were a bit tight compared to some other places I have stayed, but they worked well. We had a 2 bedroom for four people (2 adults, 2 kids). The pull out sofa mattress was miserable, but the couch cushions werent bad so i slept on the couch as a couch. There are no elevators, which was the only bad part as my other adult is 85, so stairs are a bit tiring for her. Overall we had a great time here and would stay here again.

It wasn't me who booked the stay . But some friends of mines did . Went over there in the morning and they were just sitting outside the room and literally on the beach. I mean the place is nice on lshower. Everything is great clean and just amazing place like I had to write a review because I really like that place and I didn’t even stay there definitely recommended

Been owners here for more than 20 years and cannot say enough good things about the resort. The location and beach are the best you will find on the gulf coast.... Cathy and Gordon in the office are amazing...responsive, prompt and courteous...... and the Sunsets!!... no 2 are the same.... thats why we all get together almost every night for cocktails and viewing of another spectacular day gone by..:))))

This is a nice, clean little place on the beach and it is the BEST spot on the beach for sure!! I’ve been here 5 times. I come almost every year, usually by myself but sometimes with a guest. The studio rooms aren’t really big enough for more than 2 people, but there are 1 and 2 BD available that are large. It is always clean, well maintained and comfortable. Staff is wonderful (shout out to Gordon!). Laundry on site. You can’t beat the view and location. Free cabana out on the beach is so nice too! I love the Hideaway!

We love it here and been coming for years! Quaint old fashioned beach resort. Perfect for direct beach access and simple comfortable amenities. Not the place for someone looking for modern updated fast-paced rooms. Occasionally they have cleaning issues but they are quick to correct it. It's hard to keep good staff right now.

If you are looking for a modern place like the Marriott this is not for you. This is a nice small but clean and well managed place. They have two bedroom townhouses and one bedroom and efficiencies. They do not have elevators for second floor and townhouse units. However if you are looking for a nice quite place with plenty of beach time this is the place for you. We've been owners here for about 10 years and we have never had a bad experience.
