Worse thing ever. there was a cockroach by the wall next to our bed, when first checking in late at night and so we went down and spoke to the front desk guy and he told us that there was nothing he could do because they were sold out, and I requested to speak to the manager but he said that he was going to be there the next day (we stayed because it was late and on vacations we didn’t know where to go) Next day went down because the manager supposedly was there, indeed he was not there was a lady and i explained the situation and requested to file a complaint report, she gave me the forms and told her that I was hoping to get in touch with the manager and possibly do something about it. She said that the manager was going to contact me with my information put on the form and that he was “definitely” help us with that. Never did. This happened April 2026 and till this day June 2026. I haven’t heard from them. I will attach the pictures because there were other minor issues as curtains not able to close all the way and bathtub being dirty. What a Shame..

The room was spotless, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was a great value for the price. I’m definitely planning to return to this hotel.

The hotel was clean, neat, and adequate. There was a small outdoor pool which we didn't visit as it was raining. The pool's location also made swimming undesirable. The employees were kind and friendly. They were willing to go out of their way to offer assistance.

Genuinely impressed with the rooms. I try and steer-clear of any hotels with "cringe factor" rooms. This room I booked last minute is exceptional. I don't know if they recently remodeled or what. The actual room is better than what it seems in the pictures! Definitely would stay here again if needed. And I love how the rooms have carpet. I hate hotel rooms with hardwood floors, I don't know why, but hardwood floors add to the "cringe factor" for me. Staff at the front desk was super cool too, made us feel very welcomed further confirming we chose the right hotel ?

I arrived at Country Inn & Suites in St. Petersburg after four hours of traffic and an accident shutdown, exhausted from a full day of business meetings. I had a confirmed, prepaid reservation through Priceline — fully paid, fully guaranteed. Or so I thought. Instead, I was told at check?in that I was one of five guests whose reservations had been cancelled by the general manager, Mr. Patel, without any notification whatsoever. No email. No call. Nothing. To make matters worse, Mr. Patel didn’t even have the professionalism to speak to guests himself. He left his front desk supervisor to deliver the news while he hid in the back office or left for the day. Truly unbelievable behavior from someone in a leadership role. The reason? Not an overbooking. Not a system error. Not a safety issue. No — it was because Mr. Patel was in a pricing dispute with a third?party booking site, and instead of resolving it like a competent manager, he chose to punish paying customers. Priceline had honored a rate he himself had offered earlier in the year, and rather than honor the reservations he accepted, he simply wiped them out. So there I was — a woman traveling alone on business — stranded at 7 PM, in an unfamiliar area, scrambling to find a last?minute hotel because the general manager couldn’t handle his own vendor relationships. My safety, my time, and my money were treated as collateral damage in his internal dispute. This is not how a reputable hotel operates. This is not how a professional general manager behaves. And this is absolutely not how you treat guests who have done everything right. Mr. Patel demonstrated zero regard for customer safety, zero accountability, and zero leadership. Shame on him for hiding behind his staff and for placing guests in the middle of his own operational failures. I sincerely hope the hotel’s ownership reads this, because they deserve to know exactly who is representing their brand — and how many customers they are losing because of it.

Clean rooms, friendly staff! Not frilly, but everything you would expect. Recently renovated rooms! Washer took two runs to rinse soap from clothes is the only minor minor complaint. Breakfast is hot and ready.

We had a great trip. Just a few things could of been better. Location is perfect!! The tub was leaking 24 hours a day. Told the front desk about it. Plus not smelling pot would of been better. It was coming into the room. Had to put towel down in front of door to help keep it out.

Great spot with everything you need nearby. Clean room, okay free breakfast. I went across the street to Walmart and grab some fresh strawberries to add to the waffles and avocados as well as everything bagel seasoning for my toast that made it a lot better. They definitely should add bagels to the breakfast. Maybe they were just out though they did have cream cheese so I thought that was kind of weird since they didn't have bagels.

This hotel is one of the nastiest hotels I’ve ever seen! I was there for all of 5 mins and checked out they refuse to give me a refund the hallways smelled like pee the rooms were very very hot the shower was not clean the beds were dirty the blanks were old and had mold in them the staff are very rude including the manager they charged me a 200 dollar deposit refund it back then took it out of my account again and refuse to refund that back as well! Do not stay in this hotel! They also do not charge everyone the same deposit fee which is weird to me never heard of that before

ZERO, IF THERE WAS ONE!!!!Booked rom late Saturday afternoon for that night to attend a Special Olympics event that was decided to be held last minute. HORRIFIC weather in St. Petersburg and down in SW Florida where we reside. Because the weather remained potentially dangerous on Sunday morning, and we needed to leave at 5 a.m. in the dark, ,we decided to travel on Saturday night . Left home early evening when there was a lull in the rain. About twenty minutes out, our engine light went on. Stopped a Auto Zone who advised that car was not drivable to St. Petersburg. Too late to get a rental car on Saturday night by the time we arrived home. Contacted hotel regarding dilemma and was told the General Manager had to approve a refund. This was booked through Agoda (Priceline), and I also contacted them. Agoda advised me the the GM at the hotel had to approve the refund. After several telephone conversations with Kung, GM, and supplying documentation, he seemed very willing to refund us due to the circumstances. Following up daily, finally on Day 5, I contact the hotel, speaking with Asha, who advised me NO REFUND WOULD BE MADE! I went through the motions of sending several emails and documentation, ONLY TO BE BLOWN OFF and then spoken to rudely and hung up on by front desk. Car repairs were in excess of $2100.00! Hotel: approximately $111.00+. Believe me, NO ONE WAS BOOKING A ROOM LAST MINUTE ON SATURDAY AND THEN NOT SHOWING, BECAUSE THEY JUST DECIDED NOT TO COME; and I AM SURE OTHER ROOMS WERE VACANT!!!!WILL MAKE SURE TO NEVER BOOK WITH PRICELINE (DBA AS AGODA!!!) AND, ESPECIALLY, Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, St. Petersburg!!! VERY, VERY SAD WORLD IN WHICH WE LIVE!!! Shame on you!!!!Karma is a …! PS. GAVE 1+STAR BECAUSE I WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ABLE TO MAKE THIS POSTING. I GIVE ZERO STARS!!!!
