Clean rooms, friendly staff! Not frilly, but everything you would expect. Recently renovated rooms! Washer took two runs to rinse soap from clothes is the only minor minor complaint. Breakfast is hot and ready.
We had a great trip. Just a few things could of been better. Location is perfect!! The tub was leaking 24 hours a day. Told the front desk about it. Plus not smelling pot would of been better. It was coming into the room. Had to put towel down in front of door to help keep it out.
Great spot with everything you need nearby. Clean room, okay free breakfast. I went across the street to Walmart and grab some fresh strawberries to add to the waffles and avocados as well as everything bagel seasoning for my toast that made it a lot better. They definitely should add bagels to the breakfast. Maybe they were just out though they did have cream cheese so I thought that was kind of weird since they didn't have bagels.
This hotel is one of the nastiest hotels I’ve ever seen! I was there for all of 5 mins and checked out they refuse to give me a refund the hallways smelled like pee the rooms were very very hot the shower was not clean the beds were dirty the blanks were old and had mold in them the staff are very rude including the manager they charged me a 200 dollar deposit refund it back then took it out of my account again and refuse to refund that back as well! Do not stay in this hotel! They also do not charge everyone the same deposit fee which is weird to me never heard of that before
ZERO, IF THERE WAS ONE!!!!Booked rom late Saturday afternoon for that night to attend a Special Olympics event that was decided to be held last minute. HORRIFIC weather in St. Petersburg and down in SW Florida where we reside. Because the weather remained potentially dangerous on Sunday morning, and we needed to leave at 5 a.m. in the dark, ,we decided to travel on Saturday night . Left home early evening when there was a lull in the rain. About twenty minutes out, our engine light went on. Stopped a Auto Zone who advised that car was not drivable to St. Petersburg. Too late to get a rental car on Saturday night by the time we arrived home. Contacted hotel regarding dilemma and was told the General Manager had to approve a refund. This was booked through Agoda (Priceline), and I also contacted them. Agoda advised me the the GM at the hotel had to approve the refund. After several telephone conversations with Kung, GM, and supplying documentation, he seemed very willing to refund us due to the circumstances. Following up daily, finally on Day 5, I contact the hotel, speaking with Asha, who advised me NO REFUND WOULD BE MADE! I went through the motions of sending several emails and documentation, ONLY TO BE BLOWN OFF and then spoken to rudely and hung up on by front desk. Car repairs were in excess of $2100.00! Hotel: approximately $111.00+. Believe me, NO ONE WAS BOOKING A ROOM LAST MINUTE ON SATURDAY AND THEN NOT SHOWING, BECAUSE THEY JUST DECIDED NOT TO COME; and I AM SURE OTHER ROOMS WERE VACANT!!!!WILL MAKE SURE TO NEVER BOOK WITH PRICELINE (DBA AS AGODA!!!) AND, ESPECIALLY, Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, St. Petersburg!!! VERY, VERY SAD WORLD IN WHICH WE LIVE!!! Shame on you!!!!Karma is a …! PS. GAVE 1+STAR BECAUSE I WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ABLE TO MAKE THIS POSTING. I GIVE ZERO STARS!!!!
Someone tried to come in our room. I'm assuming it was maintenance but when they knocked we responded with a please wait a minute because my husband and I were changing. I don't know if they didn't understand us or what but they proceeded to come into the room even though we asked them to wait. Luckily my husband was able to get to the door before the man came all the way in and waved him off and got the door closed.

The hotel has a dated appearance, with worn carpets throughout the property and guest rooms that are in need of replacement or a thorough deep cleaning. Towels and linens also seem overdue for an update, as noted by several other guests. One guest even mentioned that the towels had become so overused they were no longer white, but tan—similar to the bedsheets. Breakfast was another area that could use improvement. The powdered eggs were quite watery, and the meal options were heavily pork-based, which may not suit all dietary preferences. Additionally, some guests mentioned that the pancakes had an off taste, possibly due to stale or low-quality mix. While this hotel might be acceptable for some travelers, it does not meet the standards I’m used to with brands like Hampton Inn, Hilton, or Marriott. If you're looking for that level of quality, I would suggest considering other options. On a positive note, the staff was very friendly and welcoming, which was a highlight of the stay.
I love love love this place it saved my whole trip back home. .they are so nice but it's real private. They are definitely professional. Rooms are so clean. I hate staying at hotels because I have a bug fear, but when I can just rest and sleep them you know it's very clean.
RICH AND RITA GO ABOVE AND BEYOND TO KEEP THIS HOTEL MY FAVORITE. I’ve been to last say over 20 hotels and this is by far my favorite. The whole staff is amazing plus the location is perfect and everyone goes above and beyond. Also Rich I appreciate you for being you. You didn’t realize it at the time but your words i listen too and have helped.
