Over the top rating of excellence in customer service award goes to Betty Thomas, Rental Manager of Gulf Strand. She’s one lady that gets things done for the best of her customers and for the company. We’ve had the pleasure of staying at Gulf Strand for many years now and every time we need anything, in booking our stay or during our stay, Betty is right there to assist and does it with such ease and always comes through with glowing results. During our last stay, we had a family emergency back home and had to leave within hours, stressed and frustrated but there was Betty to help in our time of need and made our early departure a win-win for everyone. Betty takes her job to heart and it shows and is greatly appreciated. She is one amazing lady and is a pure asset to Gulf Strand. Another 5 star rating goes out to Janusz, the maintenance man at Gulf Strand, he’s there early everyday to make sure the grounds are kept clean and everything is in its place, a job that just happens when people aren’t out and about. Gulf Strand is always in tip-top shape and it shows. Great people Gulf Strand and they deserve to be recognized !

We rented an AirBnb 1 bedroom 2 bath condo. Our first trip up the elevator, I was gagging!!! Let's just say Fabuloso was completely over used, and really toxic?!!!!! The location of the condo was directly on the beach, and we had a partial view of the ocean. Condo was clean, but definitely needs some furnishing updates. Kitchen has been re-done, shower heads were HORRIBLE, chair and couch extremely UNCOMFORTABLE??. The whole beach vibe and decor was on overload. The weather wasn't good, so we definitely spent more time indoors?. I had to clean and deodorize the washing machine, as it had a very heavy moldy smell? On a positive note, the Host James was very responsive. Our rating of the property is a B, but unit gets a C- Thank you from Tinley Park, Illinois (January 14-19)

Had a great stay in unit 302 . Pool area is fantastic. Corn hole game was fun to play. Nice new patio with grills to cookout

Small, quiet beach condo with rentals. The check in process was smooth, fast and friendly. Parking was assigned and exclusive. Beach was readily accessible and could be viewed from practically every room.

The apartment 507 is very comfortable and cozy. The décor is beautiful, and the place is spotless. The kitchen is well-equipped and has everything you could possibly need. From the balcony, you can enjoy both the sunrise and the sunset. The location is wonderful, with many restaurants and all essentials within walking distance. I enjoyed my time there and I simply love it! Can’t wait to go back soon!

The unit was outdated, old and dingy and not very clean (comforter was gross). The TV was small-not enough plugs to add a firestick , furniture uncomfortable, especially the bed and pillows. No laundry or dish detergent or tissues. This was not a pleasant experience and we will not be returning. This was our 3rd time in 502. Shame on the owners for doing the very minimum, especially for the high price. The pool was filthy and no one was there to clean it. Kids were running around unsupervised. Definitely would not recommend staying at this location. There are many other nicer, newer condos on the beach.

I came from Canada and spent an extra long weekend at the Gulf Strand Resort, Unit 507. It was a fantastic time at St. Pete Beach! Unit 507 is amazing, very clean, fully renovated, modern and very comfortable; all linen, furniture, cookware was set, just felt like home away from home. I would go back at any moment! Betty at the Office is very diligent and nice, very helpful for any thing you need. The Beach is steps away from the resort, with a private walkway and the Beach… OMG, beautiful beach and the nicest sunsets every night!! The area is nice, all restaurants and shops are walkable or a short drive. Outlet mall is just 30 min away. Very convenient and peaceful! I would definitely come back and recommend it.

We had room 507 and it was very nice for our stay. Recently renovated, 2 bathrooms and well appointed kitchen. We only ate out twice while we were there for 9 days because we grocery shopped and cooked in the kitchen. The refrigerator did take about a day to cool down adequately but once it did it stayed cool. A hotel-grade ice maker would have been nice to have down by the pool / grill area, as we were constantly making ice just using the freezer to fill our cooler. FYI there is no water line hooked up to the fridge. The view is wonderful from the balcony, and the a/c and ceiling fans were great. For some reason, we did have several ants in the master bath, and just killed them as we saw them. They weren’t there initially but showed up around day 3. The pool is nice and there were plenty of chairs and a bin of noodle floats that we used in the ocean. If you rent a cabana, mention you stay here for a $10 discount. The Publix a block away is still closed for repairs, so plan to drive to Treasure Island or somewhere else to pickup groceries. Each condo is independently owned, which I found interesting.

We extended our stay because it's great. Great service and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. So glad we found this place right on St. Petes Beach
