Sand Pebble Resort offers a beachfront location and access to John’s Pass, favored by long-term guests and families. However, recent reviews highlight dated rooms, noise concerns, and inconsistent service. The resort boasts a pool and barbecue facilities, but struggles with operational issues and inconsistent quality.
Come here for a week cant get a good night sleep. People in the courtyard along with morning housemaids echo throughout the center corridor. Ending at 1 to starting at a nice and early 7 am . Good look getting sleep here . Staff should put up a noise warning for certain hours but hey im sure these people would just ignore it
We did an RCI exchange, wasn't what we were expecting. After posting, the resort was gracious and offered to move us to a 2 bedroom 2 bath unit with a balcony! Much better than the studio unit that had a Murphy bed. Very happy with the service and the larger room and balcony. Thank you Jo-Ann.
The rooms and resort are very dated but you won't find anyone nicer than Charley, one of their front desk people. Try to avoid the property manager... Very dated rules... Like you can't go in hot tub unless you are 18? What? But you can go to war.. ho hum...don't think security is there all night either. Time is split w another resort and not very friendly. Ie.... You best be out of pool at 20pm pronto or you will be promptly addressed. Who cares that you bought your time share and have been paying maintenance fees for years??? But you will love little walk to beach.
I arrived yesterday at 8.30pm and there were other people outside trying to get in the building so they could check in and get their key just like me. The building was locked and thanks to another man and his wife who are staying here opened the door for us and helped us. Now we couldn't get the keys to the units because they are locked up in a box that needs a combination to open. Nobody knew the combination. After calling the resort number a few times I got a guy who gave me the combination and we were able to get our keys. The nice man staying here even helped me with finding the unit and told me how to get the combination for the building next time we are locked out. The unit seem fine, but one of the pillows on the bed had black mascara stains all over and on both side, the remote control in the living room was dirty and sticky and broken and the TV in the bedroom doesn't have a signal so you can't watch TV. And their channel line up is very strange and it doesn't match the channels listed in their manual. These people had my email and phone number and they could have an email this information to us so we did'nt feel so lost and worried about where are we going to spend the night today after traveling all day and being super tired. Not a good look for the service of this resort.
Love the staff and the resort. It's amazing with a gorgeous view of the beach. Rooms, pool and hot tub are always clean. One of my favorite times of the year is creating memories at the Sand Pebble ??
Still recovering from the Hurricane with 2 of the pools not operating. No lobby amenities (coffee, snacks) but right on the beach so there is a good point. Walk to John’s Pass which is great. Waffle one block away - EXCELLENT.
This place is so close to the beach, but the rooms are soooo dated. 10 minutes walk to John's Pass.
The rooms are great but need to be redone, they are dated. And they are going to be! Yay! The view is spectacular. Love that it is on the beach & has a pool, kiddie pool, hot tub & barbecues. Centrally located to so much. 2 minutes from John's Pass. Can't beat it!! Spent a week there for the last twenty years & will probably do so for the rest of my life.
This was a perfect place to be with a (heated) pool in the back of the hotel, with a hot smaller pool and a little kids pool, right in front of the beach. I had a wonderful time, in a basic 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, spacious living room with back patio and full kitchen
This is Old Florida so no glamor, but great location on the beach, adequate room amenities, and good pool. Kids love it and generations of snowbirds call it their second home. I would choose it just because of the beach and restaurants, and although old the rooms are very serviceable.
