Great beach front small motel. Still closed from 2024 hurricane. Hope to open September 2025.

The Sails Resort is my home away from home! I just realized I have never given you guys a review! I have been coming here with my family ever since I was a baby! Now married and going to visit with my husband! Ted, Zaneta and everyone is so incredibly nice. The maids remember me from when I was a child too. The most genuine down to earth people ever. It’s like an old timey beach getaway here! I always recommend The Sails. Magical place! Magical beach! Just wonderful!

Great place to vacation!! The staff is great and the place is always clean and comfortable! We love the pool being right there where can you just step out on the beach. It’s our go to spot for summer vacation!

I would give the rooms 4.5 stars if possible, if only for the fact that window ACs are SO LOUD! And I mean loud, loud. Can't hear the TV or others speaking when in the same room once it is on. My whole family was on this trip, we had 4 rooms in total, and each one was super nice & spacious. Even the room that only had a kitchenette still made good use of the space allotted. The pool/beach area was actually luxurious, I can't think of a better word to describe it, and the view was gorgeous. The whole property is simply stunning. Our stay was perfect from beginning to end & I hope we get another chance to visit again soon!

Great resort with excellent staff. The owner and front desk staff is kind. We have been traveling this location for 30 years. We love how the resort is on the beach. We will be back soon.

Great Location, view, parking, staff and easy booking! The pool was clean and well kept too on top of it being super close to the beach! The sails is Family friendly and fun for all ages! The rooms were very spacious and even had a kitchen! It had a good and working ac and good water pressure too! There was a BEAUTIFUL view and short distance to the beach. The furniture and interior of the rooms could use some work but the view made up for it!

Love this place. You don’t find places like this much anymore. Needs updating but the property is beautiful, safe, and family friendly. It was our second time here - it’s great. Biggest downside- the rooms (we had 3) were all hot. The window units just couldn’t cool the rooms enough for comfort. Other than that - no complaints.

This is a fantastic place to stay if you're looking for an affordable place to stay that's right on the beach! The apartments come fully furnished with TV, AC, cooking utensils if you want to make your own food and there is even a washer/dryer on site if you need to do some washing! Owners are very nice and accommodating to the guest needs. I really like that this place isn't right in the heart of the busy area of Clearwater but is only a short walk/bus ride to any fun activities you might want to do. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet place to stay close to the beach and shopping centers. Also, they have a heated pool!! It was broken part of the time while we were there but the water was warm enough that it didn't matter.
