Hands down STEPHANIE is the whole reason im 5 staring this due to her being such an awesome person I went in there to find out about a better rate an place to live due to me being in a bad hotel so I talked to Stephanie ... she showed me a couple rooms ab the rates an room is exactly what I need an wanted...Stephanie is very professional and I would recommend this place to anyone she has definitely turn this place around GOOD JOB bayside inn!!!!!

Incompetent management. No maintenance. Property managers disrespectful and extremely rude. Place is absolutely filthy and disgusting always looks like a garbage dump. Coach roach infected, literally crawling on the ceiling, walls, cabinets, you name it!!! You will have to fumigate your belongings when you so you take the roach infestation when you leave. No WIFI 50% of the time. Washers and dryers are filthy and disgusting. You have to dry your clothes 2 or more times to get them dry. Management LIES about EVERYTHING. SO make sure you record and document ALL encounters with them.

Half Dirt half grass for lawn and the rooms had small German roaches.

Roaches in rooms. Loud Ass neighbors selling weed all night long. Trash and cigarette butts everywhere. Rooms reeked of cigarette smoke and weed regularly. The housekeeping took 5 days to clean the room next to ours after the occupants left. The door locks are extremely insecure, after the key stopped working randomly, the office hung up on me when I called because it was “after hours” then one of the neighbors used a screw driver to pop the lock pretty effortlessly. This place charges outrageous prices for the week. Rent, and its most definitely not worth it. There are MUCH more affordable rooms by the week, in much. Better locations, with. Working locks, and competent staff.

This place needs a lot of work! Personally, I was only visiting! There were children of ages running around unattended, with a highway less then a 100 feet away. The room my friend was is in was absolutely disturbing! The power in the bathroom and sink area kept shutting off and had to be reset. There was trash in the parking lot and pool everywhere. There was no staff to be seen the entire time I was there! And the odor of drugs was everywhere with children running wild. Absolutely Crazy! The state of Florida should take a closer look at the license they issued to this establishment!

Honestly when I had no where to go this place was there , the old management didn’t really care about this place but once Walter and Sarah took over it’s been nice , went from sleeping in my car to having a room with water and electric included and WiFi , it’s very convenient for those in need ?. They are nice people that owns the hotel and there’s a yummy restaurant attached to it so I don’t have to drive to get food it’s really nice . I appreciate my time here so far , and the owners are genuine people which I appreciate a lot

This motel is so much better now that the managers Sarah and Walter are amazing. Even if the motel is not a 5 star yet, but with the remodeling, it could be.

Extremely dirty. The first room smelled like a dog kennel/ bathroom. I almost gagged. I went to office and asked for another room. They charge a $50 deposit fee which doesn't get returned for 3 weeks after check out. I spent over 900 for 12 days. The website makes this place look fabulous don't be fooled. No hangers to hang clothes. Manager not friendly didn't make you feel welcomed at all. Had I known how nasty this place is I would've spent the extra money and booked somewhere else. I booked non refundable so I was stuck there. Never again nor would I recommend this place to anyone. Don't waste your money book somewhere else.

All the reviews for this place are so bad, I'm glad I didn't listen. As you can see from pics, for the price, it's not bad at all. It could be a little cleaner, but I always clean my own rooms anywhere I stay. The room is spacious, plenty of storage space, the mini fridge has plenty of space w/a freezer. No signs of bed bugs at all and I haven't seen any signs of roaches yet either. Not sure why they got all the bad reviews, but I'm quite happy with the accommodations. The pool is big and clean looking, they have a play area for children, it's walking distance from Freedom Lake Park, also walking distance from Walmart, there's a restaurant on site, they accept pets and have an outside area fir them, they pretty much have a little bit of everything. For the price that you can get this room for and especially the weekly rates, it's a great deal. The only downside is the $50 deposit that you have to pay at check-in.... however, you get it back when you check out. So at least you know you got the money coming back to you ?

I stayed in this hotel with my family about 2.5 weeks ago. All the reviews are true. This place is nasty. The sheets had stains and cigarette holes on them. I saw two roaches in the bathroom, the tub was disgusting and clogged. Our "non-smoking" room smelled like an ashy tray. During my two day stay, not once did housekeeping come to clean up or swap out our towels. Yuck! When I spoke to the front desk about these issues. These scam artist would not give us a refund nor switch our rooms. WARNING: This place also have a no refund policy so you won't get your money back when you check in. You'd be better off sleeping on the sidewalk than this place. There are better hotels on this street if you're willing to look. Do not waste your money.
