This place was nothing short of EXCEPTIONAL! My fiancé and I had a great experience and everyone was friendly and helpful. The whole staff deserves 5 stars. My fiancé lost her Apple Watch and security immediately did an investigation and was communicating with us the entire time. thank you Tyson, Derek and the rest of the team! We were concerned with some of the recent reviews we read. However, the hotel staff made our stay exceptional. Valet, front desk, beach servers all on point. Justin at the front desk accommodated our upgraded room request & early access seamlessly. Andi and Molly’s service on the beach was AMAZING; so friendly and obliging. We will be back!

The JW was the perfect location to host my Bridal Party. We started with Pilates on the private beach, then brunch which was amazinggggg ! AMAZING ! We had a daybed reserved (which I highly recommend) which came with fresh fruit and infused waters. The front desk held our cake for us in the fridge safe for dinner. We all had spa services booked. I had the body scrub + massage. This was the best massage ! An experience like no otherrrr ! Worth every penny. I booked a room for the day/night so that we can get dressed and relax at leisurely. A photographer came to snap shot before dinner and the staff/ facility THOUGHT of everything. The details, the complimentary amenities for me and the bridal party. The dining staff of Latitude 28 also diligently cut my wedding cake and served it. I will be back !

We recently stayed at the JW Marriott Clearwater Beach and had mixed feelings about the experience. The hotel itself is beautiful, modern, and very nicely designed, with the quality and atmosphere you would expect from a newer JW Marriott property. Unfortunately, the service and beach experience fell short. We arrived at 8:00 PM and were told our room was still being cleaned, despite the stated 4:00 PM check-in time. Our room was not ready until after 9:00 PM, which was extremely frustrating after a full day of travel. In addition, our balcony was not usable because it was covered with dead bugs and clearly had not been properly cleaned before arrival. The coffee maker only had decaf and no privacy door tag was provided. Room was stated to have 2 queen beds, but they were on the small side, seem more like Double size beds. The beach setup was also disappointing. The beach area is quite small for a property of this size (an inlet cove rather than ocean facing) and the rules regarding beach chairs and reserved seating were not consistently enforced, making it difficult to enjoy the beach experience. We ate at both restaurants which were good but not great. Continental breakfast was provided for Elite members at Latitude with a $10 up charge for hot items. Deep End for dinner near pool has a great view with good service and decent food. Requested a late checkout and was offered an hour extension to noon (as a Platinum member and on a Luminous stay). I asked to speak to a manager and was never contacted. We ended up just leaving given all the frustrating aspects of the stay. Overall, the property itself is very nice and has a lot of potential, but the operational and service issues took away from what should have been a luxury experience.

We had such a wonderful stay here! The hotel is absolutely beautiful with modern touches throughout, and everything was very clean and spacious. Traveling with a baby, I especially appreciated how comfortable and roomy the accommodations felt. The private little beach for hotel guests was honestly the highlight for our family. It was peaceful, relaxing, and so nice being able to enjoy the beach away from the big crowds. It made the whole experience feel much more special and enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again!

We absolutely love the JW Marriott Clearwater Beach. The hotel has a quaint, intimate feel that makes it stand out from larger, busier resorts. It feels elevated and fun rather than overwhelming, which we really appreciate. The food is excellent, and the beach experience is beautiful. One thing I would recommend: because the property is smaller and more boutique in size, it’s worth asking ahead of time if there are any private or special events scheduled. During our stay, we weren’t able to use the pool or the rooftop restaurant due to a private event, which was disappointing and the only reason for four stars instead of five. Overall, it’s a beautiful property with great service and a fantastic beach — just be sure to check the event calendar before you go!

We had the most wonderful weekend in Clearwater Beach! The hotel was absolutely beautiful, clean, comfortable, and perfectly located for a relaxing beach getaway. We spent our days soaking up the sun on the beach, and the service truly made the experience unforgettable. Andi took such amazing care of us! He was friendly, personable, attentive, and made everything so much fun. It felt like we were VIPs all weekend thanks to him! We highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Clearwater Beach. And when you’re at the beach, be sure to ask for Andi — you won’t regret it!

The pool area, beach access, and on-site dining options were all fantastic, and we loved how easy it was to enjoy everything without ever needing to leave the property. The hotel itself was nice and clean, with a beautiful view that really stood out. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming—Ana, in particular, was amazing and made check-in a great experience. I also loved the complimentary bikes, which were a nice touch, and the market area was very convenient and well done. Unfortunately, my experience at the on-site Latitude 28 restaurant was disappointing. The service was extremely slow despite the restaurant not being busy. The food was overly salty, and the server never came by to check on me. She simply cleared the plate, which still had unfinished food, without asking if everything was okay. At that point, I asked for the check and left. Another downside was the very low water pressure in the room. Considering the price I paid, I had higher expectations in that area. Overall, the hotel has many positive aspects, especially the staff and amenities, but there are definitely areas that could be improved to better match the price point.

The staff was friendly, attentive, and truly made us feel welcome. Easy beach access, and rooftop views of NYE fireworks. Perfect blend of luxury and relaxation—highly recommend and can’t wait to return!
