We absolutely love the JW Marriott Clearwater Beach. The hotel has a quaint, intimate feel that makes it stand out from larger, busier resorts. It feels elevated and fun rather than overwhelming, which we really appreciate. The food is excellent, and the beach experience is beautiful. One thing I would recommend: because the property is smaller and more boutique in size, it’s worth asking ahead of time if there are any private or special events scheduled. During our stay, we weren’t able to use the pool or the rooftop restaurant due to a private event, which was disappointing and the only reason for four stars instead of five. Overall, it’s a beautiful property with great service and a fantastic beach — just be sure to check the event calendar before you go!

We had the most wonderful weekend in Clearwater Beach! The hotel was absolutely beautiful, clean, comfortable, and perfectly located for a relaxing beach getaway. We spent our days soaking up the sun on the beach, and the service truly made the experience unforgettable. Andi took such amazing care of us! He was friendly, personable, attentive, and made everything so much fun. It felt like we were VIPs all weekend thanks to him! We highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Clearwater Beach. The pool area, beach access, and on-site dining options were all fantastic, and we loved how easy it was to enjoy everything without ever needing to leave the property. The hotel itself was nice and clean, with a beautiful view that really stood out. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming—Ana, in particular, was amazing and made check-in a great experience. I also loved the complimentary bikes, which were a nice touch, and the market area was very convenient and well done. Unfortunately, my experience at the on-site Latitude 28 restaurant was disappointing. The service was extremely slow despite the restaurant not being busy. The food was overly salty, and the server never came by to check on me. She simply cleared the plate, which still had unfinished food, without asking if everything was okay. At that point, I asked for the check and left. Another downside was the very low water pressure in the room. Considering the price I paid, I had higher expectations in that area. Overall, the hotel has many positive aspects, especially the staff and amenities, but there are definitely areas that could be improved to better match the price point.

The staff was friendly, attentive, and truly made us feel welcome. Easy beach access, and rooftop views of NYE fireworks. Perfect blend of luxury and relaxation—highly recommend and can’t wait to return!

This is the best JW hotel we have stayed at. The property is new, very clean, and beautifully maintained. All the staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The scenery is stunning. While the beach area is a bit small, the beach staff more than make up for it, they are extremely friendly and helpful, always assisting with setting up chairs and umbrellas. The pool on the 11th floor is nice, though it could be a bit bigger. We stayed in a two-bedroom suite on the 10th floor with a great view. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was one of the best amenities and made our stay very convenient. There is a restaurant above our unit, and we did hear some noise from moving chairs or tables around midnight to 1 a.m., but it was not too unbearable. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely come back again. Thank you for hosting us. All the staff are truly amazing.

Located at the south end of Clearwater Beach. The hotel is situated on the inlet between Clearwater and Sand Island with its own private beach (not on the main Clearwater beach). Great if you’re looking for intimacy, but without the wave action of the famous beach. The Hotel is nice and the service attentive. The staff were all very nice and quick to assist you. In general the hotel is small, there for the lobby, market and bar somewhat all run together. This is all flanked by the main restaurant and doors to the outdoor area. Again, nothing to complain about. Breakfast at the lobby restaurant is either buffet or al a carte. The food was very good. As for the standard guest rooms they are nice, but basic. I am always underwhelmed with the guest rooms and inclusions at high priced resort hotels. Although I did not use them, the Spa and fitness areas were more than adequate. The rooftop pool was very nice with and attentive service and great views of the ocean. There is a second restaurant there that also caters to pool guests.

Honestly, staying at this JW Marriott was such a great experience. One of the biggest highlights for me was the sauna. Miranda, who runs it, was incredibly warm, welcoming, and calming — her energy alone made the experience even better. I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels, and I can confidently say the level of service at this sauna was unmatched. The location is also amazing. The beach views are beautiful, and the private beach seating options make it feel really special and relaxing. The staff throughout the property were kind and attentive. Overall, this stay felt thoughtful, peaceful, and truly memorable.

Absolutely exceptional stay! The service, atmosphere, and food were all outstanding — truly first-class without feeling stuffy. The staff went above and beyond to make everything perfect. This hotel was absolutely wonderful! We spent our babymoon here and stayed here three nights, which wasn’t enough. All staff, from reception to concierge to the restaurants, and beach and pool staff as well as spa staff were so attentive and friendly! They made us feel like we were the only ones staying at the hotel. We loved every minute! The food at the hotel restaurants was delicious as well! Not to mention, we received a sweet babymoon gift from concierge in the last day! Highly recommend this place. The entire facility was clean, inviting and perfect for our short getaway!
