What a great little hotel! We stayed here for our 40th class reunion in early June, and it was perfect. First, it's right on the beach, so going for a swim means a short walk through dunes and right into the water. They also have a nice little pool for those that don't want the salt and sand and bright sun. There's a covered patio area with picnic tables and another open area with chairs and barbecue grills. Palm trees surround the gathering area, making for a beautiful place to sit. There are hammocks to swing in in the shade, and lounge chairs for sunbathing. The rooms were charming and simple, with kitchenettes and ample space for relaxing, like little apartments. Everything was clean and well cared for, and we'll stay here again if we come back to the area.

This was a super easy location to get to, right on the beach, nice pool, great seating area before you get to the ocean that has hammocks and other chairs and loungers. Front door parking was incredible. Everyone was easy to get ahold of, all the staff were super nice, we checked in early and spent the day at the beach and was fortunate enough to get into our room a couple hours early! I recommend this place 10/10! The room has everything you could need for a little get away, has a stove, oven, refrigerator, pots and pans, and utensils, as well as plates and cups, and a little table! Super convenient if you are wanting a night in, as well as outdoor grills! As far as chairs and umbrellas, the best! they are free (as long as you return them) so no hassle with the typical “5 hour time slot”

My son just graduated high school so I planned a short beach getaway to relax for a few nights. We had room 6 which is on the ground floor. The bedroom faces the gulf, and the living room & kitchen face the pool. The living room also has a gulf facing window. With the blinds open, the rooms are bright. There are also excellent room darkening curtains. We both slept very well. Air conditioning works great and there is a ceiling fan in the bedroom. Our bedroom had two full size beds. I think the sofa was a sleeper but we only used it for sitting and lounging. There’s a large TV. We actually didnt turn it on once. Large refrigerator, oven, microwave, auto drip coffee maker, and basic pots/pans and utensils are included. We mainly had breakfast and snacks in our room. The location on the beach was wonderful and exactly what I wanted. The area is a little bit away from larger hotels and restaurants which meant beach was lovely. I highly recommend watching sunset from the beach. The Molloy provides beach towels and you can borrow lounge chairs and umbrellas to take down to the beach. I think the location is excellent if you have a car or no hurry to wait for Free Beach Rides, Trolley, or Uber we didn’t rent a car which made it a little trickier for some of our non-beach activities and dining-but the quaint motel and lovely beach was well worth it. Staff at Molloy are fantastic, friendly, and helpful. You can do laundry free at certain hours. Washer is top loader commercial machine. There’s no daily housekeeping but guests put soiled towels in a basket outside their door & staff will leave fresh towels. We stopped by the office for a few extra towels. Note -i was glad I packed two quick drying, large beach towels. We mostly used those for our daily showers. My only real “complaint” was the motel’s bath towels were small & I would have liked more than one per person. That wasn’t a problem for us since we had brought our own large beach towels. The pool is small but nice. We often had it to ourselves. There’s an outdoor shower for rinsing off post beach. That was sooo helpful. Oh and one favorite part of our stay was Philip the Egrit! He came to visit daily. I am attaching his pictures.

I had a great mini vacation there! The front desk staff was awesome especially Julia who went above and beyond to accommodate me! The grounds were great for chilling and relaxing and the beach was right there, a short walk. Restaurants and Publix close by. The only negatives I would say would be my room was kind of small (but I really wasn't in it much) and the bed was tiny. I'm only 5'8" and my feet were hanging off the end. I'd definitely stay there again!

We loved staying at the Molloy! Service is always beyond wonderful with personal check-ins and friendly faces to greet you. This was our second time staying there and it just has such a nice cozy and charming vibe. The direct beach access is of course amazing with chairs and umbrellas ready for you at anytime. And the hammocks are a great touch! It’s very close to a lot of amazing restaurants and about 15 mins from town so truly a perfect location. Quiet and family friendly, just a great place to get away!

This was a little piece of paradise. The staff is welcoming, the facilities are great and the beach access is perfect. We got an upgraded king suite, the room was beautiful. Very comfortable, the bed was just perfect. We love the full kitchen and full sized fridge. They offer beach chairs and bbq grills which is a nice perk. All around a great little getaway spot we will definitely come again.

We loved our 4-night stay at this charming little hotel! The room was absolutely beautiful - we had a great view over looking the pool and the beach & ocean. The hotel is located on the main drag through Treasure Island (as are all of the hotels that are located right on the beach), but it's completely quiet & relaxing on the hotel grounds. The little area close to the hotel, with the loungers & hammocks, is lovely to sit out at and read or have your morning coffee, and it's just a moment's walk down the little pathway to the ocean. Oh, and the sunsets from the property are incredible. Everybody was so nice & accommodating. It's also very close to so many great beach bars & restaurants, and about a 5 minute drive to Johns Pass. We we so happy to have found this little gem. Can't wait to come back!

GREAT stay at the Molloy!! The place was quiet, quaint, and clean. The room we stayed in was recently renovated and nice! We had a kitchenette and cooked very basic meals during our stay (the Publix is .3 miles away - VERY walkable). The bed was comfy, bathroom was clean, and the pool was warm. We put our room’s wicker basket outside for towel refill and it was filled with clean towels in the morning! The beach is wonderful - towels, chairs (you have to carry them out to the beach yourself but they are lightweight), AND umbrella were available to us from the front desk!! SO clutch for a short trip. The staff was incredibly friendly and kind, helping us with whatever we needed. SO minor, but no dresser for clothes, no tissues in the bathroom, and only live cable tv. But the kindness of the staff, the cleanliness of the room, and the LOCATION make this a spot we would definitely return to again!!!

We stayed for 2 nights in a Gulf view suite which had a small kitchen, a living room and separate bedroom with 2 double beds. The location is incredible with great beach access just behind the property. The beach felt secluded since the area is not overcrowded with the large high rise hotels and condos. The outdoor spaces were well kept and inviting, the pool was clean and at a decent temperature. Their were plenty of chairs, loungers, and a few hammocks to use. For the price we paid, I feel like this was a true bargain given the location and intimate feel of the resort. The room was clean and functional but the beds could be updated to queen size for a bit more comfort. Definitely would recommend staying here. Staff was friendly and accommodating to our late night check-in at 11pm.

This little boutique was a gem!!! Starting from the hospitality of the staff who went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The rooms were beautiful, spacious and with a crisp clean beach decor. The bed was perfect and the walk in shower gorgeous. But the best feature is it is directly on the beach. They have a great patio area with grills, chairs, tables outside the heated pool area. This is a hidden beauty and we will be back!!!
