The Saint Hotel offers a fun, retro-inspired experience near St. Pete Beach, boasting a lively pool scene and an on-site restaurant. While many guests praise the staff, location, and overall ambiance, recent reviews highlight inconsistent amenities (like the hot tub) and occasional cleanliness concerns. Overall, it’s a popular choice for a relaxed beach getaway, but with room for improvement.

We stayed here recently and had a pretty mixed experience. There were definitely some highlights, but also a lot that fell short of expectations. One of the biggest disappointments was that several of the amenities we were looking forward to weren’t actually available. The hot tub was cold the entire time, and we booked partly because they advertised happy hour and music by the pool. Unfortunately, the tiki bar was closed all week, and we were told they’re no longer allowed to have music. That’s something we really wish we had known before booking, as it definitely changed the vibe of our stay. The overall service was also a bit underwhelming. The manager wasn’t particularly welcoming or personable, which set the tone. Housekeeping was minimal — we weren’t offered fresh towels or sheet changes, and the towels we did have had noticeable stains. The floors in the room were also sticky, which didn’t make things feel very clean. That said, the restaurant was a bright spot. The food was really good, and the restaurant staff were friendly and attentive, which we appreciated. Overall, it wasn’t a terrible stay, but for the price and what was advertised, it didn’t quite deliver. With better communication and attention to cleanliness and service, it could be a much better experience.

????? 5/5 We had an amazing stay at The Saint Hotel in St. Pete Beach! The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach, making it incredibly easy to enjoy the ocean every day. The hotel thought of everything for beach days, providing carts, towels, chairs, toys, and even pool floats. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with cozy beds, robes, blankets laid out for us, and complimentary waters waiting upon arrival. They were also kind enough to accommodate an early check-in, which made our stay even better. A highlight of the trip was dining at 82 Degrees. Although the restaurant is closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays, it was absolutely worth planning around. It was the perfect place to unwind after a day at the beach, with a welcoming setting that made us want to linger and enjoy our meal. The salmon was cooked perfectly, the margarita pizza was delicious and came out quickly, and the service was outstanding from start to finish. My boyfriend also couldn't stop talking about the key lime dessert, it was one of his favorite parts of the meal! A special thank you to Randy, the manager, who went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. His hospitality truly made us feel welcome and added a personal touch to our stay. From the thoughtful amenities to the excellent service, The Saint Hotel exceeded our expectations. We can't wait to come back!

My wife and I had a two day stay here and loved it. Randy was great and the hotel has everything you need, literally. On our way to the beach Randy came out to make sure we didn't need a wagon, or chairs, or a cooler, ice, etc. The drinks and food at the attached restaurant 82 Degrees were delicious. We look forward to visiting again at some point soon

We had a great experience at The Saint, particularly because of Randy. An Air BnB gone bad left is scrambling for accommodations same day and we stumbled across this place. Randy immediately helped book the right room at a great price. They have great pool, hot tub, and restaurant and are mere steps from the beach. They offer complimentary bikes, coolers, umbrellas, beach chairs, water, ice, help with luggage and all with great professionalism and a smile. The food at 82 Degrees is very good with open air sunset views. The place is clean, beds and linens are good quality and comfortable. Great Italian bakery around the corner, amazing sandwiches and flat breads. It has all the amenities with a laid back, intimate experience. Take the ferry from Fort DeSoto to Shell Key and enjoy the true beauty of Florida

The ambience was really inviting. It’s its own little piece of real estate, with the personality of relaxing and fun. Looking at the pictures you can see games, blow ups and bikes you can take out, that’s included with the stay. We also spotted many times the nanday parakeets. First time to see wild parakeets! We stayed in two different rooms. Both had its own personality. It was clean easy to relax in. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel. At the time of us being there, we got two free drink tickets for each night. I will review there also. The drinks and food are so very good! Don’t miss out! Randy, the person who oversees all that goes on there and keeps the place looking special, is kind and helpful. He listens. An example we had with this is when we got in bed for the night and saw that we didn’t have a flat sheet. We texted him and he responded pretty quick. We were able to get a top sheet within 10 or fifteen minutes. We did not know the area when we booked. We just knew it was by the beach. The town was hit with a hurricane so it’s recovering. Not all the businesses are open but what it did have was very nice. If I was just driving through, I would be struck by The Saint but not sure I’d want to stay. I’m so glad we booked here and didn’t know of the damage around as it may have kept us from staying. We got to stay and it was fabulous! The rooms, outdoor activities, talking with guests, the restaurants we could walk to, and that beautiful beach was like a five minute walk.

Loved our recent one night stay at the Saint Hotel even though we happened to be there for record breaking lows with the high being 48F, we still enjoyed our stay! Randy even let us check out a little later so we got to enjoy the hottub the next morning! The whole outside pool area is a beautiful set up. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. If it had been nice we would have loved to take the wagon of beach supplies to the beach or ride the bikes. The happy hour at 82 degrees was a highlight and the cocktails were amazing! We were able to run right across the street for the sunset too! We will for sure be back with hopefully way better weather to use more of the amenities!

I wanted to share my experience at what I believe is the best hidden gem in St. Pete Beach. This charming boutique hotel is filled with personality, and the entire staff—including the manager, Randy—is amazing. The rates are very reasonable considering the excellent amenities and location. I also highly recommend visiting the rooftop bar and restaurant, 82 Degrees, for the best sunsets in the area.

We stayed at the Saint Hotel from January 1st–4th and had a wonderful experience. The rooms were comfortable, beautifully furnished, and very clean. When we arrived for check-in, Randy greeted us and was incredibly welcoming, which set the tone for our stay. We had a great time both at the hotel and the restaurant. The staff was attentive throughout our visit and provided excellent customer service. We truly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to return.

I recently stayed at The Saint Hotel in St. Pete, and it was a great experience. The service was exceptional, with friendly and attentive staff who made us feel welcome from the start. The amenities were impressive, including complimentary bike rentals with a bike lock, and the convenience of checking out a wagon that included a boogie board, umbrella, towel, and a cooler with ice. It was great to grab some beers from the front office and enjoy them on the go. While there were a few minor downsides, such as the room feeling a bit humid and the memory foam bed in the master bedroom being somewhat damp, we adapted by moving to the pull-out couch and turning off the AC for a drier night's sleep. Also, hot tub was not working and the cornhole bags were a bit worn out and not really usable. On the positive side, the hotel offered great free parking, and we loved how walkable the area was, with many bars and restaurants nearby. We also enjoyed playing volleyball at Upham Park Beach, where the sand was great, even though there weren't any boundary lines. We met some high-level volleyball players and had mimosas at Paradise Grill, followed by a refreshing dip in the ocean after our volleyball play. Additionally, the attached restaurant, 82 Degrees, was absolutely amazing and a definite highlight. I highly recommend the "Firecracker Roll" and the "She Toxic Roll". Overall, I would recommend for a younger group without kids looking for good value-to-cost deal.

What a quaint adorable hotel this is! This affordable find provided us with a quiet, relaxing stay. The staff was highly attentive, the room was very clean and the location was wonderful. A comfortable bed is a must for our very active bodies and theirs was great. Do not miss breakfast at La Coisette per the staff's recommendation. Loved having bikes to use free of charge.
