The Saint Hotel consistently receives praise for its friendly and attentive staff, particularly Randy and Kendall, who go above and beyond to provide a welcoming and personalized experience. Guests highlight the hotel’s unique atmosphere, beautiful outdoor spaces, and convenient location near the beach and dining options. While some recent reviews mention minor issues like humidity and a damp bed, the overwhelming sentiment is positive.
We had a great experience at The Saint, particularly because of Randy. An Air BnB gone bad left is scrambling for accommodations same day and we stumbled across this place. Randy immediately helped book the right room at a great price. They have great pool, hot tub, and restaurant and are mere steps from the beach. They offer complimentary bikes, coolers, umbrellas, beach chairs, water, ice, help with luggage and all with great professionalism and a smile. The food at 82 Degrees is very good with open air sunset views. The place is clean, beds and linens are good quality and comfortable. Great Italian bakery around the corner, amazing sandwiches and flat breads. It has all the amenities with a laid back, intimate experience. Take the ferry from Fort DeSoto to Shell Key and enjoy the true beauty of Florida
The ambience was really inviting. It’s its own little piece of real estate, with the personality of relaxing and fun. Looking at the pictures you can see games, blow ups and bikes you can take out, that’s included with the stay. We also spotted many times the nanday parakeets. First time to see wild parakeets! We stayed in two different rooms. Both had its own personality. It was clean easy to relax in. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel. At the time of us being there, we got two free drink tickets for each night. I will review there also. The drinks and food are so very good! Don’t miss out! Randy, the person who oversees all that goes on there and keeps the place looking special, is kind and helpful. He listens. An example we had with this is when we got in bed for the night and saw that we didn’t have a flat sheet. We texted him and he responded pretty quick. We were able to get a top sheet within 10 or fifteen minutes. We did not know the area when we booked. We just knew it was by the beach. The town was hit with a hurricane so it’s recovering. Not all the businesses are open but what it did have was very nice. If I was just driving through, I would be struck by The Saint but not sure I’d want to stay. I’m so glad we booked here and didn’t know of the damage around as it may have kept us from staying. We got to stay and it was fabulous! The rooms, outdoor activities, talking with guests, the restaurants we could walk to, and that beautiful beach was like a five minute walk.
Loved our recent one night stay at the Saint Hotel even though we happened to be there for record breaking lows with the high being 48F, we still enjoyed our stay! Randy even let us check out a little later so we got to enjoy the hottub the next morning! The whole outside pool area is a beautiful set up. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. If it had been nice we would have loved to take the wagon of beach supplies to the beach or ride the bikes. The happy hour at 82 degrees was a highlight and the cocktails were amazing! We were able to run right across the street for the sunset too! We will for sure be back with hopefully way better weather to use more of the amenities!
We stayed at the Saint Hotel from January 1st–4th and had a wonderful experience. The rooms were comfortable, beautifully furnished, and very clean. When we arrived for check-in, Randy greeted us and was incredibly welcoming, which set the tone for our stay. We had a great time both at the hotel and the restaurant. The staff was attentive throughout our visit and provided excellent customer service. We truly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to return.
I recently stayed at The Saint Hotel in St. Pete, and it was a great experience. The service was exceptional, with friendly and attentive staff who made us feel welcome from the start. The amenities were impressive, including complimentary bike rentals with a bike lock, and the convenience of checking out a wagon that included a boogie board, umbrella, towel, and a cooler with ice. It was great to grab some beers from the front office and enjoy them on the go. While there were a few minor downsides, such as the room feeling a bit humid and the memory foam bed in the master bedroom being somewhat damp, we adapted by moving to the pull-out couch and turning off the AC for a drier night's sleep. Also, hot tub was not working and the cornhole bags were a bit worn out and not really usable. On the positive side, the hotel offered great free parking, and we loved how walkable the area was, with many bars and restaurants nearby. We also enjoyed playing volleyball at Upham Park Beach, where the sand was great, even though there weren't any boundary lines. We met some high-level volleyball players and had mimosas at Paradise Grill, followed by a refreshing dip in the ocean after our volleyball play. Additionally, the attached restaurant, 82 Degrees, was absolutely amazing and a definite highlight. I highly recommend the "Firecracker Roll" and the "She Toxic Roll". Overall, I would recommend for a younger group without kids looking for good value-to-cost deal.
What a quaint adorable hotel this is! This affordable find provided us with a quiet, relaxing stay. The staff was highly attentive, the room was very clean and the location was wonderful. A comfortable bed is a must for our very active bodies and theirs was great. Do not miss breakfast at La Coisette per the staff's recommendation. Loved having bikes to use free of charge.
The Saint Hotel was amazing . Can't say enough about what a great time we had. From the moment we arrived Randy the manager welcomed us and made us feel right at home. You can tell when someone really loves there job. He went above and beyond when it a came to hospitality. Also, a special shout out to the Bartender Stella upstairs at the 82 degree bar. She not only makes spectacular drinks but also cares about her patrons. Wanting you to have the best experience possible. She is a local so she can really guide you on the best places to eat, listen to music, etc.....Love us some Stella!!!! :) can't wait to go back.
The Saint is a lovely boutique hotel near Saint Pete Beach. It has everything you could want: large, well-equipped, clean rooms, a beautiful outdoor seating area, and a small, pretty pool area with a hot tub. Manager Kendall and her team are very attentive and courteous. Service with a big smile: every request is fulfilled immediately and everything is done to make guests' stays as pleasant as possible. We would also like to mention Brianna: a special thank you for the friendly welcome! There is ample free parking available for hotel guests. If you want to go to the seemingly endless fine sandy beach for a walk, a swim, or to marvel at the beautiful sunset, you can easily walk there in a few minutes. You can also find good food or a cocktail here. The casual dining restaurant 82 Degrees is located directly in the hotel. Its cuisine and bar are impressive across the board. As a hotel guest, you have direct access to the restaurant and can have drinks and food delivered to the pool at reduced prices during happy hour. The entire area was severely affected by Hurricane Ian. Even now, five years later, the consequences are still visible in many places. The surroundings are therefore likely to change as more new buildings are constructed. It would be nice if The Saint stayed as it is!
Clever concept hotel! It fit our needs, it was totally clean, there were 2 amazing padded arm chairs, the couch was large and comfy, and the bed was very comfortable as well! 4 good pillows were provided too! We like the contactless check-in, and the overall decor. Our microwave was broken, and the table for “dining” in the room was scary wobbly. We ran out of trash bags, and the waste baskets were tiny. Overall positive.
This is a true gem. The property is wonderful and the rooms so unique. We had the one bedroom and it was huge with a full kitchenette. Well appointed, comfy and well furnished right down to the bathrobes. The staff is one of a kind. Once you meet Randy you will be disappointed in every hotel manger you meet after.
