The Hotel Zamora consistently receives positive feedback, particularly regarding its beautiful aesthetics, rooftop views, and friendly staff. Guests rave about the upscale atmosphere and enjoy amenities like the pool, beach access (though some find the beach location inconvenient), and restaurant. However, recurring concerns involve inconsistent housekeeping, limited resort amenities, and billing issues, highlighting areas needing attention.
We had such a wonderful day at The Hotel Zamora! We purchased a day pass to enjoy the pool and could not have asked for a better experience. Craig took care of us all day and was truly the pinnacle of hospitality — attentive, welcoming, and genuinely made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We especially loved the pool setup with both sunny and shaded areas, which made it easy to relax all day comfortably. The included kayaks were such a fun bonus and made the experience feel even more special. We ended the evening with dinner at Azura Coastal Kitchen, where Kelsey took amazing care of us. She was so kind, personable, and attentive, and truly made the perfect end to an already fantastic day. Huge thank you to the entire team for such a memorable experience — we can’t wait to come back!
We had our wedding at The Hotel Zamora in late April and had a very positive experience. The location was perfect and the rooftop made for the best atmosphere during our evening. The manager I worked with throughout the planning process was great. The staff on site during our rehearsal and wedding were very helpful and had positive attitudes. The rooms were clean. Our wedding guests (many who stayed at the hotel) were all very pleased. The food was also excellent. Would recommend.
Lots of great - a little not so much. Valets, front desk, bar, restaurant service all fantastic - very customer focused, willing to make things right, great at giving recommendations on where to eat, beaches, make purchases. Very friendly, too! Food was very good - make their own granola (I was told) Shrimp Ajillo was delicious! Scallops in Coquille St. Jacques a little fishy, but still good. Bartender will make you whatever you want - even if you only have an idea of what it might be. Room was huge and felt upscale. Lots of sitting space and crisp sheets. Was disappointed that I had no maid service - no clean towels except for day one; they did replace the non-working coffee machine, but not until day 2 and no coffee for day 3 (and no complimentary coffee for day 2). The rainshower shower was lovely. There were no instructions for the apparatus attached to the handheld; and the grout could have been cleaner (white instead of pinkish-brown). The view from the deck - overlooking the boat slips - was beautiful
The location is quiet and somewhat secluded, offering the perfect opportunity to fully unwind and relax. The accommodations were modern and unpretentious. The sink had a bit of mold, and there was some limescale in the shower. The room was not vacuumed and mopped property, however it was equipped with air purifiers, which was a nice touch, especially since the room we stayed in had a strong perfume scent lingering from previous guests. The outdoor terrace of the restaurant offered a beautiful view and a relaxing atmosphere. The food was good, and the morning staff, in particular valet was wonderful throughout our stay. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and the hotel staff did their best to accommodate us.
We splurged on a room with a little balcony. The amenities are remarkable. How awesome to have them take us to the beach in a golf cart and have bicycles and kayaks for us to borrow! The restaurant is delicious - we went twice in two days. But the best part was our experience with the front desk. We had an urgent situation and could not stay through the end of our reservation. We were allowed to cancel with no penalty, no hesitation, and such kindness. Interacting with people and not a huge corporation was so refreshing.
If your intention was to be at the beach for your stay in St. Pete, this is not it. They don’t have beach access, it’s a far walk although they will transport you there via golf cart from morning until 6. You need a car, there’s nothing near this hotel. ?? The staff are all very nice people, decent rooftop ?? no beach access but had resort fees, very dated, far from the beach and far from anything else within decent walking distance. The pool is dated. ?: pay the extra $$$ to stay on the beach at the any other hotel. You have to pay resort fees anyway. No matter what. Everything was a 10-15 minute walk, minimum. This far south on the beach is a wasteland. You will need a car. It’s feels old even though there was some kind of updated remodel. It’s just not with the money for lack of beach access and other amenities compared to resorts on the beach at roughly the same price. The only way we would stay again would be if prices were half and resort fees were waived or added in to the price.
This hotel is a true Florida Gem! We stayed for a long weekend and our 3rd floor balcony suite (310B) was fantastic, with awesome gulf coast sunset views and a street vibe. The pool bar was awesome, and the restaurant onsite is fantastic for both brunch and dinner! And the rooftop bar is a must see place to visit during your stay. Also, Do take advantage of the free golf cart service to a private or public beach with chairs, towels and umbrella supplied. The valet staff is quick and efficient, Lee was fantastic! You can’t go wrong booking a couple’s romantic weekend stay here…it’s Pristine, Clean, and tastefully updated. My wife agreed that it was beautiful. Respectfully, KJ
Really enjoyed our stay. Loved the style of the hotel and friendly staff. The amenities like the pool and patio were very nice. The hotel restaurant was good quality. The location is great for getting around at Pete beach and over to St Pete. One downside was the room cleaning was inconsistent (not getting correct number of towels several times) and not all that thorough (did not seem like they swept at all). Overall, it was still good value for the area.
The hotel has amazing views of the bay and the rooftop view of the gulf and surrounding areas were breathtaking. The Azura restaurant didn't disappoint on a single meal, the breakfast was especially delicious. The hotel has a very modern Mediterranean look and feel and added to the overall luxury feel of the stay. The staff were all very nice, helpful and always around. The only thing I wished was that the hot tub would have been operational during our stay with the chilly nights.
I recently hosted a wedding at the hotel Zamora and loved every minute of it. Vianka helped us with everything and was extremely sweet and accommodating. She definitely made this experience way more enjoyable. I couldn’t have asked for better. The hotel staff and banquet staff were amazing as well. The views were stunning. I would highly recommend the hotel Zamora for a wedding or vacation stay.
