If you want bells and whistles, this is not for you, but if you want old Florida charm with kayaks, paddleboard, beach chairs, and towels to enjoy on an uncrowded beach, this is 5 stars. We planned our anniversary late and couldn’t get a room any where on the beach. I called and spoke with the owner who gave us an amazing rate and gave us the date we needed. . He kept communicating with us to make sure everything went smooth and it did. The room is literally on the beach. Had a nice kitchen and all the amenities we cared for. I’d definitely stay there again and I highly recommend it.

We stayed here the 1st week of March, 2026. Wes was very very understanding of our needs for a downstairs apt and actually rented us his personal place. We thoroughly loved his place. We felt right at home. It is a small place right on the beach, literally. Walk out the door and straight to the ocean. There's so much to do in the area with restaurants be I ng less than a mile down the road. If your looking for fancy hirise

Wonderful older building with aged character. Slow lifestyle not crowded beach and great outdoor space. Wes was wonderful to speak with and took care of our needs. If you appreciate old Florida this is the place for you. So relaxing to enjoy the days on the beach and the beautiful sunsets. Even saw a great sunrise over the bay/inland waterway across the street.

A charming and cozy hideaway to celebrate our one year anniversary just steps from the beach. We enjoyed the stunning views, the "old Florida feel" of the place , fire pit and all the beach toys you could ever imagine. No need to pack anything for the beach, it was all there waiting for us!! We will be back first chance we get!

Great location, but this place is not being taken care of, it's cluttered, and dirty. It was a little embarrassing to walk from this house out onto the beach because of how run down it is.

We had a lovely time at Sun n Fun over the holidays with our family of 4. The location of the property in Indian Shores is unbeatable, beach front and restaurants/grocery all in close proximity. It goes above and beyond for amenities available (both in the unit with kitchen fully stocked and outside including comfy beach chairs, kayaks, BBQ, bikes and much more!) The owner Wes, is a very kind man and has so much passion and history to share about the property. We had a small hiccup where the first room was not to our standards but Wes made sure to make it right for us immediately. Each night night we watched the sunset from the room window while having dinner or on the beach. We saw dolphins crossing about 15ft from the shore, it was magical!

Had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend. If you enjoy a little old Florida and unique accomodations, this is for you. This is a nice quiet location, just like having your own private beach. If crowds are not your thing, this is the place. The owners are very appreciative of there guest and made sure we were satisfied with our stay. We will be coming back. Thank you for everything.

Is the place on the beach yes. Are the owners responsive yes! We met one of the owners (wife) and I chatted with her husband via texts. Both were very friendly. Do the rooms need updated sure. However, we loved that it was not a huge mega condo complex and the beach access was unprecedented. It was just what we needed the two of us. We plan to make a return visit one day. Thank you for keeping the place with an old world vibe.
