Treasure Island Beach Resort consistently receives positive feedback, praised for its beautiful location, friendly staff, and comfortable accommodations. Guests particularly enjoy the spacious suites, stunning views, and convenient access to the beach and nearby attractions. While some minor improvements to room amenities are suggested, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive.
We had a great stay at TIBR. Smooth check-in complete with glasses of champagne! Staff checked in with us every day via text message. I texted back once to ask for more toilet paper and we had two rolls delivered in less than 15 minutes. We also had an unfortunate food poisoning incident from a local restaurant and when I went to the front desk to ask for some cleaning supplies, a staff member came up within minutes to hand over rags, cleaner, and some extra bottles of water. Pool attendants were super nice and helpful. Dinner at BRGR was also delicious. We snagged yummy chocolate chip cookies every afternoon, which hit the spot after long days at the beach/pool. Definitely recommend this resort!
Employee Itzel at the front desk was not friendly and inviting at all. She has horrible attitude and likes to make smart alic remarks while checking in to our room. The room that was given to me was room 415 this is supposed to be beachfront room for $840 and that is with a Florida residence discount of 30%. The room was more like a pool view with large palm trees blocking the ocean. We paid for a beach front and was tricked into a room with no view of the ocean. Besides speaking with Itzel and her horrible attitude I requested to speak with someone else who can help. Guess what Itzel refused me to speak to anyone else and was a bully who did not allow that to happen. I asked to speak to management and she also did not allow that to happen either. My family and I have stayed at treasure Island resort multiple times and had never had a problem. I do wish that management can watch any video recording at the front desk for May 30, 2026 around 2:00-3:00 PM. All other staff members were friendly and she seemed to be very intimidating to staff and visitors. She is a giant in control of that resort that is disrespectful. With so many people looking for an employment these day I am sure Treasure Island resort can find someone else with customer service experience. Beware of room 415 and the views luckily I was able to take photos of the view for evidence. No more treasure Island for us and would not recommend. Addendum:: just saw a review that Itzel is the Assistant front desk Manager giving feedback at reviews. That is a joke in itself and somehow I hope the General manager reads this to get a real review from a past guest.
I enjoyed my stay and the resort is small and quaint. When arriving, parking was confusing because signs are only for the brgr restaurant but no signs for checking in. When you pull up to the parking and press the button, you have to reverse and park in the restaurant spots, check in and then get the key to open garage. Wish the signs made more sense. Pool was small for the amount of people staying. With the beach being further out and long walk, most decide to just pool instead. Not sure if there is actual beach service for the guests, like beach chairs and umbrellas to enjoy out there. No smart tv’s in the room - odd - can’t stream anything. The room was nice - mine still needed a better clean - found hairs in the shower and dust in corners in the bathrooms. Just some details missed. Beautiful location and friendly staff. I’d come back.
Love this beautiful clean modern resort. The view is so stunning and it’s a just a short walk to the beach. The room is very tidy clean and it comes with kitchen. It’s perfect for our family with our 1 year old. The atmosphere is relaxing and welcoming, feels like home. The staffs are genuinely kind. Thank you for a wonderful stay and hope more and more people find out and get to enjoy this place
What an amazing little getaway we had as a family of five. The only thing we’ll change when coming back is getting a bigger room with two bathrooms just for sake of ease with two adults and three kids. Very welcoming at check in, all staff was very hospitable and kind. They had complimentary fresh baked cookies and fruit water in the lobby every day around 4:30. Turn down service and chocolates every night. Perfect location on the beach. Very quiet and comfortable at night. The area isn’t so congested like Clearwater. To go on vacation as a family and all be completely relaxed is very rare and I can say it was mainly due to staying here and I look forward to coming back again. I will look for other Opal brand resorts on our travels from now on.
TIBR is fabulous. The rooms are clean, roomy, and the kitchen area was well-equipped with everything you need. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The food at the restaurant is delicious, Carol at the tiki bar is warm and welcoming, and the staff at the pool are there to provide any service you need from setting up your umbrella and towels to taking drink orders. It is a truly marvelous resort overlooking the beautiful beach and we can’t wait to rerun next year.
We had a One Bedroom King Suite - Gulf Front and it was incredible! The balcony was huge and you cannot beat the view! Everyone there was absolutely wonderful and incredibly helpful! The entire hotel was very clean and well kept, and the beach there is so beautiful! We watched the sunset every night without leaving the room! We only went to the hotel restaurant once, but Sloppy Joes is just a couple buildings away and an easy walk on the beautiful beach paved walkway! There is also Britt's Italian across the street which had great food, too! AND, Publix is just a few blocks away so we were easily able to stock up on some basics for the week. We're already planning our trip back next year! Thank you so much for a wonderful time!
Great place to stay. The amenities were basic but the hotel is so clean and well kept. I highly recommend a gulf view room. Sitting on the balcony in the sun is amazing. Watching dolphins from our room was so cool. BRGR room service was great. However the night we chose to eat in the restaurant was awful. Waitress never put appetizer in, made a horrible undrinkable mojito and brought me regular fries in stead of truffle fries. However, she was kind and seemed to be trying. All in all, we loved the location and there are snacks in the lobby for $2 each which is amazing price considering how everyone marks everything up. Also don’t forget to grab fresh , yummy cookies everyday from 4-6pm.
Such a beautiful getaway with the Family for New Year’s celebrations. We love the little celebration touches the resort provided such as the Photo Booth and props. Our Gulf View Suite had amazing sunsets every night. BRGR Restaurant was delicious and staff was exceptional. Check-in, stay and check-out was seamless. If anything was needed, service was provided right away and professionally.
This is our favorite place on the whole gulf coast. From the front desk manager Clark as soon as we walk in, he is polite, professional and constantly looking for ways to make our stay better. He definitely is the best. Also, Michelle the housekeeper on first floor, she is a joy to talk too and makes you feel part of her family. This place is top notch for the amenities, the atmosphere the beach but especially for their staff!. The rooms are absolutely beautiful and like your own apartment complete with anything you could need. Highly recommend this place
