Sirata Beach Resort receives mixed reviews, with significant praise for its beachfront location and friendly staff. However, recent stays have reported issues including room cleanliness concerns, construction noise, inconsistent room assignments, and difficulties with amenities like beach chairs. While some guests highlight improvements and the overall beauty of the property, others express disappointment with the condition of rooms and ongoing operational challenges.

The hotel has an amazing location and everything it needs to be a perfect vacation spot, but unfortunately our experience did not reflect that. We booked two ocean?view rooms, but they were assigned in completely different buildings, far apart from each other. Only one room had the ocean view we paid for; the other faced the bay, and the traffic noise was constant. The staff was friendly and genuinely tried to help us with the room?assignment issue, but nothing was resolved and we did not receive any improvement in our accommodations. We also found leftover food on the floor in one of the rooms, which was disappointing and not what you expect at this level of hotel. Another issue was the construction. When we booked, the hotel stated that construction would be finished by the end of May, we went middle June, but there was still work happening all around the property. The noise started very early in the morning, making it difficult to relax. Two restaurants were also closed during our stay. On top of that, you have to pay for beach chairs and umbrellas, which feels unreasonable for a resort. And to reach one of the pools, you have to walk through a parking lot — something that definitely does not feel like a vacation experience. Overall, the staff was kind and the location is excellent, but the noise, room issues, and overall conditions made the stay far from what we expected.

I honestly don’t understand why some people leave negative reviews about this hotel. Everything was perfect during my stay. The room was clean, beautiful, and spacious, and the hotel itself is wonderful. The front desk staff were very helpful and welcoming. Rum Runners Bar, located right next to the hotel, is fantastic as well. All of the servers and staff were incredibly friendly and made the experience even better. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and would definitely stay here again.

This is my second time staying at this property and it has been nothing short of a great experience. It’s clean, convenient, and all of the staff are amazing. The last time I was here, they had recently begun the process converting to Tapestry by Hilton with quite a few updates still pending. I’m happy to say the ongoing improvements are fantastic and I can’t wait to return again when the new pool and restaurant are officially open!

Our experience started horrible, not because of the Sirata, but because of the third party agency we booked through (super.com). Don't ever book through this website, tbey are the worst. Well, super booked us for the sister resort next door- St. Pete shore resort. We were confused, but agreed to look at the room. There was a lot of construction going on and very loud. As soon as we stepped in the room, it wreaked of cigarette smoke and a ton of dead bugs everywhere. The room was very old looking and we immediately walked out. We were on the phone with super.com for approximately an hour with no help. We walked over to the main Sirata building and spoke with the hotel manager Shelly. I cant even describe her kindness as she listened to our problem and quickly offered a solution by moving us into the main resort building which was supposed to be were we originally booked. Shelly should be used as a model for Hilton to train all of their managers in customer service. The main resort building is beautiful and clean. Our room was recently renovated. It was clean, beautiful and immaculate. The resort pool area was really nice with a bar/grill. The resort offers many activities for families and kids every day ranging from bracelet building, sand crafts, bingo and many more. The pool area provides pool noodles, kod floaties and boogie boards for children in the pool. The beach was a few steps over a foot bridge. The beach was clean. The only complaint is that the resort does not offer free beach chairs. There is a fee to purchase chairs (not a huge deal for us.) We will be visiting this resort again and bringing the whole family. Overall, this resort was great and the staff is not only attentive but very friendly.

They are remodeling, hard to get to beach. Not enough help for restaurants and bars. We had a dirty bath cloth behind our toilet. Rest of rooms were clean, it was just forgotten. The body wash was empty and only one bar of soap available.

The room was in dire need of renovation. I was in building four. The elevators looked like they had never been cleaned in years. The bathtub sounded like it was going to fall through the floor every time I got in it and the drain was so slow there would be 2 inches of standing water by the time I was finished with my shower. It was nice that there was a refrigerator and a microwave. The service I received from all of the employees was absolutely top-notch. Location was beautiful and the beach was always clean. The price was outrageous for the lack of quality of the room.

EVENT PLANNERS TAKE NOTE: We hosted a group event at Sirata Beach Resort with approximately 80 attendees and a total contracted spend of about $34,000. During our stay, there was ongoing construction and property conditions that were not disclosed at the time of contracting. These conditions impacted the overall experience for our group. In addition, we observed several facility concerns, including an unpleasant odor in the lobby area, railings that were loose in some locations, an understaffed restaurant resulting in long wait times, and elevator inspection documentation that was not current. The hotel's contracted block room price was not discounted at all, in fact, room rates online were at greatly reduced prices. After the event, we requested a goodwill adjustment. Initially, over the phone, the manager offered 5% of our group's total spend, but after we told him that was not satisfactory, the final compensation offered in writing was 1% of total spend. While attrition terms were adjusted (common for most group bookings), no additional consideration was extended relative to the size of the event. Communication following the event included a missed scheduled call and delayed responses. Hilton's review confirmed that compensation decisions are handled solely at the property level. This property does NOT live up to the Hilton brand name. The beachfront location is appealing (when there is no construction.) Event planners should request full written disclosure of any construction or operational changes prior to contracting. Also, discounts on room rates should be available to large groups. Needless to say, we won't be holding our reunion events there again.

We just stayed at Sirata last week for our girls trip we have been doing for 14 years! We stayed there last year and loved it. Rebooked the same type of room for our stay this year. Upon arrival, they didn’t have the room we booked. After waiting about 5 hours they gave us a room we initially booked. At first glance the room looked great but the patio chairs all had holes in them and 2 of the 3 chairs we were not able to use. The curtains all had mold in the folds and mold in the bathroom shower. It took them 3 days to bring a blanket to our room after at least 5 requests. My friend slept in the hide abed with her sweatshirt and a sheet. After receiving a response to my friend posting a review with the same problems and pictures on Facebook, she was told that we weren’t even staying at the Sirata. The building we stayed in was someone else’s hotel and we could use their amenities. We were still expected to pay the price we were quoted when we booked. At least the resort fees should be waived with all the construction going on. No restaurant except for the bar food at Rum Runners and Harry’s when it was open. The staff was great except for the two guys who checked us in. Susie at RumRunners and Shellie at the front desk were great!

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a genuinely pleasant experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming, professional, and efficient with the check-in process. The lobby was clean, modern, and created a great first impression. The room itself was spotless and well-maintained, with comfortable bedding and thoughtful amenities. I especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere at night, which made it easy to relax and get a good night’s sleep. The bathroom was clean and stocked with quality toiletries, and housekeeping did an excellent job throughout my stay. The location was another major highlight, conveniently situated near restaurants, shops, and local attractions, making it easy to get around without hassle. Breakfast offered a good variety of fresh options, and the dining area was well organized. If I had to mention one small downside, it would be that the Ice Machine was down but it was already replaced before we left, this didn’t significantly impact my overall experience. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and friendly service. I would happily stay here again. ??

We had our wedding at the Sirata and couldn’t have been happier with how everything turned out. The venue is beautiful, the location is perfect, and the whole weekend just felt easy and fun for us and our guests. Everything went smoothly on the wedding day, and we got so many compliments from friends and family about the setting and overall experience. Kelli Love was a huge reason it all came together so well. She was awesome to work with and genuinely cared about making sure our day was exactly what we wanted. She took a lot of the stress off our plate. We’d absolutely recommend the Sirata to anyone looking to get married here
