Love this little motor lodge! Like going back in time with all the comforts of today. Entire property renovated. The staff and manager are very helpful and genuinely care about making your experience grand. Heated pool too! Short easy stroll to the beach and the free trolly will take you up and down the beach side.

I highly recommend this hotel for several reasons. A few weeks back I got into a horrible car collision. I spent one night at this hotel and will be returning this upcoming weekend as well. The beach is easily accessible by walking across the street. There's a great bike trail close by, as well as a clean waffle house next door. You can fish off the back deck if you bring your own fishing poles. The 2 gentlemen that were the staff that day were very professional and kind!

What a great hidden gem, recently renovated, great location, washer and dryer on site, Cal is super friendly and helpful, we've already been back 3 times and will be many more! Every unit we've been in has a stove and full size fridge, smart tvs and comfy beds. Definitely worth the price!

We stayed here for 1 might as we were in between our flight and check in at the next hotel. The view was gorgeous and the pool are was really nice. I liked how they have the outdoor grass on the balcony. It made it feel really relaxed.

Amazing staff. The manager is such a great guy and helped out when we needed it and the staff came after they were clocked out to help us. The rooms are so clean and the beds are comfy. My crew stayed here for a little over a week with multiple rooms. Positive feed back from everyone regarding the updated rooms, cleanliness and convenience to everything. It was a quaint little town with such great hospitality (thanks to Matt) that my employees said they are planning a trip back with their families for vacation in the future.

This hotel is a perfect Hidden Gem for anybody coming to town. It's right across the street from the municipal Beach. The rooms are very cozy and quiet. The city was working on the sidewalks and even though my room was right beside where they were working I barely heard it. The owner and staff are very polite and friendly! They have darn near everything that you need for your stay. Our room did not have those small bottles of shampoo, conditioner, or lotion, but that's okay. It had EVERYTHING else! I will most certainly be coming back to this hotel the next time I'm in town. So if you're hunting the internet looking for a place to stay, trust me, this is where your search ends, because this is where you're going to go.

We’ve been staying at the Satellite Motel for years, and it truly feels like our home away from home. The location is unbeatable—just steps from the beach and close to everything Treasure Island has to offer. The staff and manager go above and beyond to make every stay special. They’re friendly, attentive, and genuinely care about their guests. The rooms are always spotless, and the entire property is kept immaculately clean. The pool is a perfect oasis—sparkling, relaxing, and surrounded by great people. There’s a real sense of community here, and we’ve met some wonderful fellow travelers over the years. If you’re looking for a laid-back, welcoming, and well-run place to stay, the Satellite Motel is it. We can’t say enough good things. Already looking forward to our next visit!

Planned a trip to visit family in St. Pete and wanted to stay somewhere affordable near the beach. Found this motel for an amazing rate just across the street from Treasure Island Beach. Honestly didn’t have huge expectations considering what I was paying. Satellite Motel far exceeded my expectations with their room accommodations, cleanliness, location, pool, and service, specifically Matt! My room, 104, had a little porch that was 5 yards from the pool, a kitchenette, 2 comfy double beds, and spacious bathroom with great water pressure. You can tell that the rooms have been recently renovated. Waffle House and a beer shop are right next door. Beach access is just a walk across the street and the local bars and restaurants are all within walking distance. Though check out time was at 10am, Matt offered to store my luggage and told me that I could hang by the pool for as long as I liked. You can’t beat this Motel for the affordability, service and location! Will definitely be staying here again!

Very convenient being right across from the beach and walking distance to many things. Comfortable and clean, my problem was to tall for the bed as my feet hung off the end.. I'm 6'1" and needed to have my head against the headboard. We will definitely go back here if we stay in this area again.
