First time in a beach resort. Was there for my cousins wedding. Everything aboutntbis place was great. The team at the front desk Roy, Kia, and Darian on the pm shift were very helpful during the entire trip and always were available. I would highly recommend this place its family friendly as well if you got kids bring em.

Service is a little slow but once they get going, everything's good. The seagulls can be aggressive so be mindful if you're dining on the deck! Food, music and overall atmosphere is all excellent.

Just got married at Shephards on 5/16/26 and was treated with the most respect and kindness the entirety of our trip. We stayed 11 days and felt like royalty the entire time. The onsight amenities were great, close by and useful! The food was delicious at all of the bars and especially for our wedding reception. We had the sand dollar buffet package, the chimi churi steak was the talk of the night! A special and very important shoutout to Teah Steel, the banquet director and wedding coordinator who made sure we were perfectly accommodated for the entire trip with anything we could need or want! She was on top of all decorations, and especially security! I’d recommend her and her assistant Austin for anyone getting married! The rooms are beautiful, especially the suites. 600 has the most beautiful views of the ocean, bridge and especially sea life with manatees and dolphins all the time! The valet was very quick and efficient and held our luggage for us before and after we checked in and out. Shephards does have a nightclub so just be vigilant about where you choose your room and you’ll be happy Thank you Shephards for a wonderful wedding and honeymoon experience. We will absolutely be back for our anniversary!

We were very happy staying at Shephard’s. The entertainment is top notch… if you are a light sleeper then this may not be the place for you, but we did not mind. The views from our room were just amazing. Food by the beach and their other restaurant Cove were really good. Couple down sides.. 1) the gym needs to be updated 2) wish there was a discount to rent beach chairs for hotel guests. I get that it is a public beach, but wish they offered a discount. Overall, I would definitely come back again. I thought it was a fun place and the staff were very warm and inviting.

Only stayed one night. But, wishing we had more time to stay! Super friendly staff from check in to check out! Very clean room. Delicious food and drinks. Beautiful sunset views while having dinner! The Difference band was spectacular! We will definitely be back for more fun!

Overall very happy with our stay, the complaints I have are minor but feel i need to address them. 1st I was told I could not have my own drink in a safe container in the pool area? But if you buy a drink there no problem. For $400 a nite i think we should be able to have our own drinks. 2nd I was smoking a cigar along with another guy 5ft from me but I was singled out and told there was no smoking, but if I went just outside the gate (6ft away) it was OK. Just feel a little picky for the amount I'm paying to stay at the resort. That being said everything else was great! The food was very good we only ate at the premises for all our meals also bought multiple drinks which also was great! The staff were all very friendly and courteous.

For the price, Shephard's is the perfect place. Great views, right on the strip, rooms were clean and all the employees were lovely. I would consider this more of an adult hotel. Multiple bars and live music. Indoor, two-story dance club. Perfect place for a couples or girls/boys trip. My sister was visiting from NY and she was thrilled with the beach and palm trees. She said "this feels like Florida!". :) Will definitely come back.

As a local, I have been coming to this hotel for 20 years! Obviously, it's much nicer now due to all the beautiful upgrades! The location is perfect and there is always something fun to do. We enjoy having drinks poolside and taking a dip in the ocean. The water view rooms are my favorite and have great views as well!! To top it off, Sheppard's is also a supporter of our local school fundraiser and gives back to our community!!! If you are looking for a spot to enjoy yourself on that much needed vacation, Sheppard's is the place to be!

Great atmosphere and the live music nightly is a real plus. And the views are pretty nice. On New Years this is the place to be with a cool party scene and front row for an amazing fireworks display.

We have been coming to Shephard's Beach Resort for over 15 years. This is the best place on Clearwater Beach. So much entertainment. The rooms are always very clean and maintained. The staff is great from the moment that you walk into the door. We have had the pleasure of always getting Tina at check in. She is absolutely amazing. Very personable and helpful. The wait staff at the restaurant is excellent along with very good food that is priced reasonable. We are looking forward to a month stay in February. Thank you, Tina, for all your help and attention on making this happen for us.
