Mint House is a very nicely appointed and well maintained extended stay hotel. It's also great for short-term travelers who want the convenience of having a room with a kitchen, full-size refrigerator and washer/dryer. I love the vibe of the laid-back Edge District of St. Pete, there are dozens of fantastic restaurants within just a few blocks, as well as some great bars and locally owned shops. And it's just a short walk to downtown and The Pier. Our room was clean and the pool/barbecue area is very relaxing. And all of this came at a very reasonable price. I will book here again!

Mint House St Petersburg by Kasa was an absolutely amazing stay. The room was beautiful and comfortable, the location was incredible—so convenient for exploring—and the pool was a highlight of the trip. I especially loved the balcony; it was the perfect spot to relax after a day out. The staff were friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting St. Petersburg.

Nice hotel. The rooms were clean, quiet, spacious. I loved the fact that there was a full kitchen and washer and dryer. I didn’t use anything but the fridge but great for someone staying a longer period of time. The only reason. I gave 3 stars for service was due to the parking. There is only valet service so you don’t have access to your vehicle at your discretion unless you find your own public parking. And there was only one guy working it so it took a min to get your car because he had to run back and forth on his own a block away to retrieve vehicles. But other then that my stay was amazing for the weekend and the Taco spot across the street was good. but there were plenty of options in walking distance.

Absolutely amazing. This was probably one of the best hotels we have stayed in. As a young couple, the location was incredible; we were able to easily get around using Lime scooters, Uber, and the St. Pete bus systems. Additionally, there were many things to do, restaurants, etc in walking distance. The hotel was super clean, quiet, and had beautiful views. We LOVED having a kitchen and laundry all in our room as well. The balconies are a lovely place to relax, and the room itself was pristine. The front desk staff was super kind, allowing us to check in once the room was ready, and hold our bags before our flight so we could continue to explore on our last day. This was our first time in St. Pete, and Mint House was a huge part of our amazing vacation. We will absolutely be staying again, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place with great prices, views, and service.

I am typically a loyal Marriott Bonvoy member whenever I travel, especially for work, but WOAH am I pleasantly surprised with the Mint House!!! I booked this somewhat last minute for business and was extremely skeptical because I am EXTREMELY anti-Airbnb types of lodging due to the usual lack of attention, minimal people interaction, and horrid cleanliness that comes with them. But this trip, since it’s around spring break time, the usual Marriott options I stay at in the area were a bit crazy in price and out of the work budget for a multi stay visit— I usually stay at Moxy or AC hotel downtown when I visit St Pete, and Mint House happens to be just like 3 blocks away from Moxy (and when I stayed at Moxy, I always thought this building was just an apartment complex, go figure!). Anyway, overall, the location was great of course since it’s what I’m used to with the Moxy, and the room was fantastic! The studio was spacious, SO quiet, the memory foam bed was comfy, and everything was very clean too! Nowadays it’s rare to have even a mini fridge in your hotel room, but this studio had a full kitchen and even a laundry machine, plus a balcony! I can see why people stay here. It’s MUCH cheaper than the Moxy, but the same in terms of quality (possibly a bit better actually). I do enjoy Moxy due to the rooftop and coffee shop in the hotel, but it’s just a 2 minute walk so that’s what I did, just walked right over with no issues :). The 24/7 in-person concierge people were friendly and super helpful too. If I did have some slight complaints it would be the pillows specifically being very hard and flat, and valet (as most places being the only option) is overpriced in my opinion, but hey, it’s the same price at the Moxy too. I will definitely be staying again without a doubt (but bringing my own pillow)!!

The location is amazing right in the heart of the Edge’s Central Ave main dining and entertainment area. Front desk and valet personnel were excellent and they all were willing to help with any of my needs and questions during my stay. Great value for the money!

We had the pleasure of being a guest at the Mint House Hotel in St Petersburg Florida last evening. WOW! Our accommodation was delightful. If your in the area I would highly recommend this hotel. The linens were crisp and fresh. The bed was very comfortable . Every element of the room was extremely clean, which I might add is not the norm in a beach, resort area. It was very reasonable in price. Wifi was high speed, large TV. Water pressure was wonderful. There was a mini washer and dryer in the room which meant I did not have to return home with dirty clothing. I will Definitely be returning to this hotel. I WAS PLEASANTLY AMAZED.

Evening check in. Desk clerk was meh. Problems with processing cards yet had a confirmation and room code. You can exfoliate your skin with the towels. No water pressure and get your shower early because they run out of hot water. Sheets are so bleached they stand up. Pillows feel like dollar tree specials. Bed mattress is clearly entry level memory foam. BUT… very clean. Very secure. Pool is lovely and they’re dog friendly. Kitchen is great with large appliances and they have free washing machine pods for the set in the unit. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash plus lotion. So, still would stay there again if I have no other options.

This was easily the worst lodging experience I’ve dealt with. The property operates with a “virtual” front desk meaning there is no actual on-site staff. While that may sound modern, it becomes a major problem when something goes wrong. The room was found in unacceptable condition: visible hair throughout the space and clearly unclean sheets. Repeated attempts to reach someone for assistance or cleaning were unsuccessful. With no support available and no urgency from management, alternative accommodations had to be secured just to salvage the remainder of the trip. When the issue was escalated, management hid behind a “no refund – third-party booking” policy instead of taking responsibility for the condition of the room. Communication was slow, dismissive, and ultimately unproductive. The dispute is now being handled through American Express, which hopefully will take the situation more seriously than the property did. If you value cleanliness, accountability, and actual customer service, avoid this place at all costs.

I stayed in the Mint House for one night. The room was great and I had no issues...or at least I didn't think I had any issues. Fast forward a month and I got a notice that I owe a parking garage for parking the night I stayed at the Mint House. Surely this was a mistake...I paid for valet parking. I called Mint House. You cannot reach anyone at the property and all calls go through a call center. I explained my situation and they assured me they would resolve and contact me. I didn't hear any thing further...until a month later when I received a second notice from the parking garage requesting I pay for parking...$85. I again called the Mint House and was again told they would resolve it. Today I checked my mail and now I have been sent to collections for unpaid parking. Mint House has failed to assist or resolve this matter for me and now I am getting notices from collection agencies!!! If you choose to stay at Mint House be warned - there is NO ONE that can resolve any issues. You cannot speak with the location directly. IF YOU VALUE YOUR MONEY AND YOUR CREDIT I RECOMMEND YOU CHOSE ANOTHER HOTEL!!!
