Madeira Bay Resort features a prime beachfront location and exceptional staff assistance, but guests should be aware that hurricane recovery efforts are ongoing. The resort offers spacious, well-equipped units subject to varying standards of cleanliness and infrastructure maintenance.
We were recently at Madiera Bay. We loved the location, the resort was lovely and easy to get to. Kate was great! We hope to see you in 2027!?
The best place ever: beach is one minute walking, John's Pass village is three minutes walk, Marina View!
We held our family reunion. We had to find a new property due to the hurricanes. Kate guided us from step one to scheduling 2026. She was amazing with all our needs. The property had everything we needed and was pretty much in walking distance for most everything
This hotel is HORRIBLE do not come here SAVE YOUR MONEY. The pool was warm but it was VERY DISGUSTING THE WAS LITERALLY A BANDAID SWIMMING IN THE POOL!!WHAT!? THE ELEVATORS SMELLED SO BAD to the point where I had to hold my breath in the elevator when you pressed on the floor button it felt like the wall was gonna collapse at any moment. One worker came in and started working on the other elevator which was broken it smelled DISGUSTING. Couple days passed there was a FIRE ALARM. While we were AT THE BEACH?! Good thing that my friends told me that there was a FIRE! AND THE STAIR DOORS WERE CRAZY! DURING THE FIRE THEY DIDNT OPEN I STOOD THERE TRYING TO OPEN THE DOOR! I was so happy to go back home.
I’m staying at this 3-star hotel for the first time. Overall, the room is okay, but I've noticed a couple of issues. The shower head's water pressure isn't strong enough to cover my entire body, which is different from my experiences at other 3-star hotels I've stayed at in various locations. Additionally, I'd appreciate more privacy for the ocean view spot since it's right next to my neighbor's room. For safety concerns about potential theft, I suggest considering enhanced security measures like a wall to prevent access from adjacent areas. Ensuring guest safety and privacy is important for a comfortable stay.
They are still recovering from hurricanes in this area. There was roof damage and things that I can understand. The rooms are small. We had a 2 bedroom for 4 adults. There 2 full size beds and a small loveseat. Around the toilet was gross and then utensils and pot holders were dirty. Only one elevator worked so we took the stairs to the 6th floor most of the time. The pool was nice and the pool atmosphere was pleasant.
The staff are nice and easy to deal with. Apparently the units are privately owned. Unit 406 is a nice 3 bedroom unit. The washer and dryer work okay but the $40 mattresses were miserable and well past their usefulness. I had to sleep on pillows and blankets. Worst stay I've had EVER. The attractions book in the living room is from 2007. Never a hot shower in 3 days. If this is your unit. SHAME ON YOU! Other guests mentioned comfortable beds, sofas and and well equipped. Jealous and pissed off!!!
Rented the “pent house” private unit with three bedrooms. Somewhere around 500+ a night and when we arrived there was water coming up through the floor boards in front of the fridge and sink area. The place was overall dirty as well with hair and such around. They will only compensate 10% which is not adequate for something such as water coming up through the floor, and as a result we spent half a day with maintenance people. The location to the beach and shops are great, and they will get people out quickly to service your rented place but considering the damage and the fact water is still coming up from the floors, it’s unreasonable and would not return.
I booked a condo here thru airbnb and I will definitely be returning! Good amenities, very safe and fantastic gulf view! The front desk guy was great and very thorough. Everything seemed clean and well kept.
This was our families first time at Madeira Beach. We stayed in unit 610. It was spacious, very clean, well decorated, comfortable with an amazing view. The unit was fully stocked with everything needed to enjoy your time at the beach. It felt like home here. The owners were wonderful before, during and after our trip making sure we had everything we need and was available if needed. We have three kids and they all had fun exploring the beach and the wildlife there, snorkeling on the sandbar and building sand castles. We did rent jet skis one day and went aboard the pirate ship cruise and even ventured over to a Rays vs. Reds game one evening for our first away game we’ve been to. At the end of our week the kids were begging for at least 3 more days!
