Guests value the spacious, clean, and quiet rooms and the excellent 24-hour breakfast, with Maria standing out as a dedicated manager. However, the property suffers from severe cleanliness issues, maintenance breakdowns, and inconsistent staff attitudes.
Stayed 5 nights, booked thru 3rd party/Reservation Desk was told that my pet was included in price, hotel said no, so extra charge,I ask them to listen to call, no response as of yet. Spring break, no hotels to be found had to stay. 5 days, no room service, ask 2 different days, no show housekeeping. Wyndham must not inspect or quality control who or what hotel is operating under Wyndham name. Very dirty, stains everywhere, door to outside taped open not secured day or night, not maintained at all. See pics for examples. Hot water and A/C worked those are the good points.
The absolute worst hotel reservation ever. I booked with booking.com and needed to change the date. They would not change it and blame it on booking. I got booking to call them to change the date, they wouldn’t, claiming it is not in their hand. Just grab the money and who cares about the guests. Don’t waste your money, there are so many other decent hotels. Lesson learned.
Depending on which room you get it may be a newer one or maybe the old ones. Newer ones are obviously nicer and smell better. Older rooms have smells and real dirty carpet. Showers are iffy. Some work ok, some not so much. Flip a coin- you may or may not have not water?. Most of the staff is cordial. Guests have all been pleasant during each visit. Breakfast is good!
This hotel is below average. I stayed here for 2 nights. For $68 a night you really can’t complain, but still the hotel looked promising. I booked this hotel on Expedia and the pictures looked good. Immediately upon walking in the hotel, it smelled like marijuana. The hallways did not look clean, and the floor was very sticky. The elevator operation permit was expired. When walking into the room it smelled very musty. The door had claw marks, but at least there was an ironing board. The clothes hangers were dirty though. The bathroom was not great, the toilet was not very clean, and neither was the shower. The hairdryer was also dirty, but at least they supplied us with body wash, moisturizer, shampoo, and soap, I looked at the microwave and it looked rusty? The floor around the bathroom was filthy. There was a coffee maker. There were 2 coffee bags and like 15 sugar packets. Who puts 7 1/2 sugar packets in their coffee? The bed was comfy, and the tv had 80 something channels, they had a notepad, and wifi (it didn’t really work though) the ac was good, but the drawers smelled. Next the service, the front desk was nice and helped us with whatever we needed. On our second day, we reported trouble with flushing the toilet, the front desk said they would fix it, but never did. The hotel had a pool which I didn’t use, and breakfast which was cereal, sausage, eggs, waffles, fruit, and coffee. The location was convenient, not far from St Petersburg- Clearwater Intl Arpt. (PIE) Not bad for $68 a night but not great either
Wonderful place to stay. The rooms are very large, clean and comfortable. Excellent hot breakfast and coffee is always free 24 hours. Staff, especially managerMaria are very nice and accommodating with the exception of the male who was on the desk tonight. I was having trouble with the laundry app and went to the desk three times for help. The clerk was not interested in helping as he was too busy leaning on the counter playing with his phone. This was Saturday Nov. 13 around 7:10pm. He was quite rude and he told me to get out (which I did not) after I told him he was lazy as he would not help or even look at the app. Bad last day there after a wonderful stay.
The room was nice, clean and spacious. The front desk clerk(I should have gotten her name) was awesome...a very kind lady. Her greeting alone was worth 10?'s. It's a nice quiet place to stay and if need be, I would stay there again without hesitation. I checked out a day early because my daughter's surgical procedures went well and that process was made simple. Thanks again to the clerk who wished both me and my family well on the way out. May God multiply blessings in her life!
Booked this hotel, upon arriving, it was filthy. Figured, okay, just a place to sleep before flying out. Spent time at the pool with crowds of people who seemed to have been living there smoking. Once up in the room, 224, noted to be filthy, until we saw live and dead bugs throughout the room, which I have photos and a video for your review. This is when I grabbed my children and left. Refund was requested at that time, was told to contact the manager Sandra Coriano. Was given her card. Called every day multiple times since 11/30/2025, it took until today, 12/5/2025, for a response via email. Sandra was denying my request for a full refund stating the room had been used and it was reported to be "clean" by her staff prior to us entering the room. Hampton Inn down the road was FABULOUS, and I deleted the Wyndham app because this is not my first bad experience with franchise-owned La Quinta's. Just not worth it. DOH was called since they serve food and the risk of disease and health related concerns from the bug-infested motel. I am unable to upload the video of crawling bugs.
The staff was extremely nice but the hotel was very dirty and unappealing. The smell in our pet friendly room was horrible. We asked to be moved the first night but there was no availability. Our dog didn’t even want to stay in the room. The second day we were moved to a cleaner room. Unfortunately both rooms had visible roaches. The floors in the lobby and elevator looked like they had not been cleaned in 5 years. I understand the hotel was used as an extended stay hotel for families impacted by 2024 hurricanes and those pet friendly rooms were part of that. I definitely appreciate the hotel helping them out. I was told it is supposed to undergo renovations. Although it is supposed to be a non smoking hotel, there was a lot of smoking (various kinds lol) going on. Again, we really did appreciate the wonderful and friendly staff.
Had to stay 2 nights for business. Very quiet and spacious. Kind staff. Clean and open room Not a bad complimentary breakfast. Very relaxing pool area! Just what I needed for 3 hrs. ? ??THANKS A MILLS! ??
i stayed here for a concert in tampa as a last minute option due to my other hotel cancelling. it was $90. this stay is reeeeeeally not worth $90. the first room we stayed in had mold on the ceiling (room 237) and a busted ac unit. we were then moved to a different room which had no full length mirror like the other one, with thankfully less mold but more unknown hair in the bathroom. i had to scrub the shower out myself. thankfully we didn’t see any bedbugs, or other types of bugs or critters, but the whole place smells perpetually damp and really needs a renovation. it’s fine for a night or two, but i would not stay here again if i had places to choose between. btw playing fox news during breakfast should be considered mental warfare. it’s not even considered news because they lie so often. don’t make people listen to that when they’re just trying to make a waffle. not super happy with my stay
