Coral Reef Beach Resort consistently receives positive feedback for its prime location on St. Pete Beach and its appealing pools and beach access. While some guests have noted issues with cleanliness and staffing, overall, the property offers a comfortable stay with good value, particularly for families and those seeking a relaxing beachfront experience. Recent reviews highlight the importance of checking for potential obstructions to views.
We have stayed at the Coral Reef for over 25 years and enjoyed every visit. The view and beach is great.
Best pool on the beach. I used to be even bigger. Two pools, 3 got tubs and about 60 units, no bar yet but there is the cabana bar about two feet away on the beach. It’s nestled in between TradeWinds and Rumfish but no affiliation with TradeWinds. Just neighbors.this is a time share but the owners rent their weeks out to other interested parties. As owners they have all been here for years each week. Front desk is helpful to fault. It’s whatever whenever possible so doing be afraid to ask but always be generous
Listen, I need real reviews from real people because I’m sick of bots and people owned by Hilton or whatever writing these reviews and them not being real. I read a mom‘s review on Expedia for this place and it’s what made us decide to try it so yes my room smelled a little musty when I arrived, but that and doesn’t last as soon as the air conditioning kicks on our room was super clean. We had a one bedroom condo with a king size bed super comfy mattress water pressure isn’t the best but I mean it’s a temporary situation you can live with that but the pool area is fabulous. Really nice Pool facilities right at Saint Pete Beach with beach access and you can totally get a cabana or do whatever you want to go down to the beach I think this is a really good value for money. go to the grocery store down the street and live your best life by going out to dinner. I highly recommend this resort traveling as a couple with kids elderly everybody is really nice. We’ve stayed at nearby resorts multiple times and that’s been fine but those places just keep getting more and more expensive. See if you can stay here. It’s a timeshare condo but they seem to have some rooms that are rentals always so if you’re lucky enough to get one of those, enjoy.
The resort was nice and clean. Our issue was that we had ocean front rooms, and instead of having a beautiful view of the ocean, it was partially blocked by a large tent. Tradewinds, their neighboring resort placed on the beach. To the other side of this nice resort, Tradewinds has to what looks to be a dumping ground. I wish we would have been notified of this we would have chosen another resort.
Awesome location. The pools were great, they are heated just enough to be comfortable going in the winter. The hot tubs are awesome, there are 3 of them. They even had some kids pool floaties we used. Being so close to the beach is great. The room's bed was very comfortable and service was great. There's pretty good blackout curtains in the room.
Our vacation at Coral Reefs Resort in St. Pete Beach, Florida, was nothing short of spectacular. It was an unforgettable experience for my family, especially my four daughters. From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for an incredible time. The location couldn't have been better. Our room was a mere stone's throw away from the pristine beach, and we couldn't get enough of the breathtaking views. Watching the sunrise and sunset over the Gulf of Mexico was a daily ritual that left us in awe. The resort's amenities were outstanding. The pool and Jacuzzi provided a perfect escape for relaxation, and the kids had a blast splashing around. The staff at Coral Reefs Resort went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. They were friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile. Room service was prompt, and our needs were met with utmost care. One highlight of our vacation was the wide range of activities available. We decided to try a bit of everything. We rented a jet ski and zoomed along the coast, feeling the rush of adrenaline as we explored the crystal-clear waters. The zip line was a thrilling adventure, offering panoramic views of the area that took our breath away. And the water slide provided endless entertainment, especially for the kids. What made our stay even more enjoyable was the flexibility to use the facilities of the neighboring resort. This meant we could switch things up and try new activities whenever we wanted, adding an extra layer of excitement to our vacation. I was so impressed with Coral Reefs Resort that I'm seriously considering purchasing a time share there. The combination of stunning natural beauty, top-notch service, and an array of activities made it a vacation we'll cherish forever. St. Pete Beach itself is a hidden gem, and our stay at this resort made it even more special. We left with our hearts full of gratitude and our minds already planning our return trip. Coral Reefs Resort truly exceeded our expectations, and we can't wait to come back.
Great place to stay, on a fantastic beach. The facility is mainly a time share facility with one and two bedroom condos. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the pool was great/big/clean, and the beach access was open and spacious. We went during the first off season week, so it wasn't packed and the pool was wide open. Plenty of restaurants in the area, and a Publix down the street was useful for groceries during the week. Can not beat the price/value!
When we arrived we noticed a woman at the entrance smoking a cigarette in her uniform, we were unclear as to where to check in, she was not having a good day or was completely bothered by us! Her along with two others were inside the office for check in, again didn’t feel welcomed at all! My husband actually walked out because he was offended! Just rude, short and annoyed we were there. The room was what it was to be expected, cockroach was an added touch, but I understand! It’s FL! The pool area was beautiful however the “bar” was closed due to covid…still?! When my daughter took some wet towels to office to exchange, she was instructed to use the washers and dryers on site! Our towels 4- for two bedroom condo were pool towels and bath towels! The security man was pleasant to us. Beautiful location and place but 98% of the staff are over 55 years old and hate their jobs! Customer service should be a lot better! Also received extra charge after checking out… not sure what it was for but will never go back! And we live in the area and will never recommend this place because of how we were treated!
