We came to St. Pete Beach on a last minute decision and wanted something directly on the beach. The rooms were very dated, think late 90s or early 00's without much upgrades. The bathtub tile had cracks, the bath sink was small with little counter space. We stayed in the deluxe suite, since that was the only thing available. However, everything else about this place was really great. It was right on the beach with private chairs and cabanas for rental. They had a bar next to the pool. The manager happy hour was great with a new keg each night. It was easy to get to know others staying at the hotel as it was well attended. During the time we went it was mostly older retired folks staying there. They had a ping pong table, mini golf, foosball, and other entertainment there on site. There were 2 volleyball courts onsite, but there was some 2 man league playing there most all of Saturday. We did not take the kids, but they had a small kid play place with some toys on the beach. The beach had some games setup each day like ladder golf. The interactions with the staff were friendly and positive.

This hotel is so wonderful and nice. Everything is clean and everyone here are so kind and friendly. You're right on the beach ?? ? awesome place. It has a cool retro vibe and a kitchenette in the room. It's like home away from home.

My husband and I come to St. Pete quite often because we just love the atmosphere and how welcoming it feels. When we were booking our most recent stay, my husband needed a little help over the phone and spoke with Reanna. She was so kind and patient with him, and she made the whole process very easy to understand. It’s always nice to speak with someone who truly takes the time to help. We really appreciated her assistance and look forward to coming soon.

This was my first time on the Gulf side of Florida and in St. Pete's Beach. I decided to stay in this area because I wanted to take day trips and this was the perfect location. Liam and Tanner at the front desk or so kind and helpful. They were great to talk to and extremely friendly! The hotel itself was nice, and my room was very spacious. It even had a old-fashioned fridge and couches in front of the TV that were movie styled. It was a very fun, happy, vibe that was 50s retro inspired.If only the weather was warmer during my visit, I felt like I really could've maximized my time at the hotel. They really made great use of their space with Life-size games, mini golf, and not to mention the beach was just steps away. I will definitely have to come back when the weather is warmer!!

I have been here since November and it is now January. I love all the staff they are amazing the property is clean and the access to the beach is great. Aaron has helped me tremendously with all my needs he’s amazing. Tanner has accommodated me with everything I could need. Cherish her bubbly personality always puts me in an excellent mood. There is another woman with red hair she always helps me at night at the front when I need something I can’t remember her name. I would give this place a 10/10 any time they don’t treat you like guests here they treat you like family. I have really been enjoying my stay and I would recommended them to anyone. Service really matters to me and they have the best staff I have stayed at Hiltons, Embassy Suites, Resorts and this has by far been the best service I have received in a long time. The housekeepers are amazing as well Judy and Krystal have helped refill anything I needed.

We had a wonderful vacation and a great stay at Plaza Beach Hotel! We booked a suite which was well stocked with drinkware, pans for cooking, pretty much everything we needed! The rooms were clean, we were steps off the beach, and the pool was heated. Also, the staff are so helpful and friendly! I was worried since my daughter and I had a late arrival on a holiday. But the day before we checked in, Tanner called me to see when I'd be arriving to make sure check-in would go smoothly. It was so thoughtful and much appreciated. We'd love to come back and definitely recommend the hotel to others!

We have stayed here on 3 occasions. Absolutely love this place. Price and location are perfectly balanced. There is something for everyone. The staff, my goodness they are so kind and just helpful! Judy helped us with our room and she’s just a shining star in this little gem of a place! We will be back again next year!!

The minute I stepped into the lobby, I fell in love with the place. The staff is extremely accommodating and friendly as you’re checking in walk around the lobby…. There are many things to see and purchase. Our room decor is very stylish and super Eco friendly. The swimming pool and deck area are very clean and they also have a playground right outside the pool area in the sand on the beach now let’s talk about just a few steps to the beach. It is truly paradise …the best place to catch a sunset. We are a family of five and we had an outstanding time. We’ll always return to this resort when we come to the area. Oh, I forgot to mention they also have free wine and beer in their lobby nightly it’s a great way to meet and talk to follow travelers and the staff.

I really enjoy my stay here I actually been here since November 13th and I’m still here as of December 10th. All the staff is amazing. Very clean and helpful . Love the 50s theme. It’s right off the beach and they have everything you need inside at the gift shop as well. What’s really amazing is they have free drinks from 5-6 I don’t drink but free beer and wine is unheard of. Also AARON was amazing absolutely fantastic he has helped me my entire stay and he has been extra accommodating he deserves a raise. Great Employee Great Service!!! Thanks so much for your great hospitality.

I really enjoy staying here. The rooms were cute and all had a '50s appearance. Staffed were extra friendly and I loved it. They really looked out for everyone. Not to mention they have happy hour every day... Free beer and wine! And their little coffee bar in the morning was super cute! I'll definitely be coming back to this place again and again :-) - Jackie Crumpton
