Emily is an AMAZING employee, along with Jimmy. They have helped us so much here and made this such a wonderful stay. Emily goes above and beyond for everyone and welcomes everyone with respect. Jimmy always goes out of his way to help and do as much as he can. I do have 1 complaint, I feel like you guys need more employees because they were scrabbling to help customers since there was only 2 of them. Besides that, it is a wonderful place and we will be back!

In the world of IHG hotels, this property is a Gem, especially for USA properties. I have Diamond Elite status for the number of nights I use IHG all around the world. I wish Holiday Inn Express had a special category of hotels that they would call "PRIME" (or some similar demarcation) with a gold ribbon on the property page or something similar to allow it to rise above the mere average properties. In the case of this property, the physical plant was above average in every way. What really sent this hotel into a category truly above all the rest is the staff. And the service. Case in point was our front desk clerk Emily. She was thoughtful, efficient and exhibited a true "servant's heart," and I mean that in the best possible way. After I have spent nearly 20 years in the hotel industry, I must admit, if I weren't newly retired, I would try to steal her away from this property. And traveling all around the world, this feeling occurs only once or twice a year. To the management, I suggest give her a raise or risk losing her. As for the rest of the service experience, the staff that puts together the breakfast never missed a beat. Again, I must admit, many other hotels have fallen short, but not this property in Madeira Beach. Best to you all and thank you for another excellent stay!

This place is seriously phenomenal. We are from Ohio and stayed here for two nights before a cruise. I tried talking my family into ditching the cruise and just staying here. The staff is top notch, it is clean and everything is so modern and welcoming. We felt so safe and comfortable here. It is located within walking distance of a Walmart, several restaurants, a starbucks and dunkin. The shuttle is so nice. We did not have to rent a car since they have the shuttle service. We will be coming down next year several days before our cruise just so we can be here longer. Truly a home away from home type of feel. This place is nicer than hotels we have paid $700 a night for. I can't say enough good things about it. I JUST WANT TO SAY ONCE MORE HOW AMAZING THE STAFF HAS BEEN!

After having issues with the vrbo we had booked for the weekend we were looking for a last minute stay with our infant and Robert was able to accommodate us even though it was a full night online! He was so helpful and took such great care checking us in. The hotel even had cribs, NOT pack and plays and their very kind houseman Jimmy put it together for us and brought it to our room within the hour so our baby could still make her bedtime after the long day we had. We can’t thank Robert and jimmy enough!

We stood here for six nights and it was an amazing hotel. Staff was friendly, clean, and had all the amenities that was needed. They had an amazing coffee machine that was available all day. It was a machine that grind coffee and was made fresh. It tasted amazing. The breakfast was very good, especially that it was included. They had a pancake maker, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, and gravy, oatmeal, yogurt, milk, bagels, and pastries. The dining room where you ate was huge and had tables where you can charge your electronics. They had outside furniture, grill, and even a electrical fire pit that were on the tables. The laundry is a coin laundry and washed and dried my clothes well. They had a pool and Jacuzzi, which was nice. They had a rinse station for you to rinse off afterward. The room itself was decently sized and very clean. The beds were comfy and had a decently sized television.

I have been an IHG member for some time, but I have to say the 2 days spent here were nothing short of Amazing!!! From Robert who had a wonderful personality, welcomed us, got us an early check in, it was my best friends bday weekend get away so wanted to do something nice and fun. He provided us with coupons to Doc Fords, another fun place, made sure we had anything we needed from towels to knowledge about the shuttle. Then We had Emily. There were two more people but they were all amazingly friendly. The hotel was clean, the rooms were very clean roomy and had nice ambiance lighting for calm relaxing whind down. Also, the breakfast was great. I am very impressed with the Holiday Inn, let alone this one. HOLIDAY INN MADIERA BEACH. Thank you for all your hospitality!!!

The staff at this property was exceptionally welcoming and provided outstanding service. The front desk personnel were accommodating and made adjustments based on my requests. Upon checking into the King Suite I had booked, we noticed that, in some instances, it was smaller than other King rooms we had previously stayed in. We requested to be moved to a standard King room, which the front desk gladly arranged. Additionally, we requested a top-floor room, which was granted and suited our preferences perfectly. The King room assigned to us was perhaps the largest in the building. The remainder of our stay was excellent. There were ample outdoor seating areas and different spaces available, which allowed us to enjoy late-night cocktails comfortably. The hotel’s location next to a Walmart was very convenient for any essentials we happened to forget during our trip. The next morning’s experience was also very positive. The kitchen staff was attentive and detail-oriented—for example, I observed them carefully rearranging the premade omelette in the warming tray, which I have not seen at other Holiday Inn Express locations. We stayed until checkout without any issues. When initially booking, I noticed that the price difference between the King Suite and a standard King room was at least $30. However, upon checking out, I saw that the difference was only $23. I initially thought there might be an issue with the adjustment, but the front desk agent kindly removed the additional $7, which was very considerate. Overall, I would still rate my experience as five stars. I am impressed by the kindness and professionalism of most, if not all, of the staff I interacted with.

The hotel itself is nice, but what really made our stay memorable was the customer service. Robert in particular was very helpful and kind. The floors were always mopped & clean (a challenge when there's sudden dumping rain, people coming from the beach, & dogs). You'd never know the hotel is animal friendly until you actually saw the dogs because there was never any odor. Housekeeping was always so nice & attentive. There's a shuttle at the top of every hour that makes going to the beach so much easier.

We had a wonderful stay at this Holiday Inn Express during our recent family vacation to Florida. Our daughter, son-in-law, and grandson joined us from Chicago, and the hotel provided the perfect home base for enjoying the sunshine and nearby beaches. The property was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and conveniently located close to shops, restaurants, and local attractions. What truly stood out, however, was the outstanding level of customer service. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay enjoyable. On our final day, our grandson became ill, and Robert went above and beyond to assist us with fresh linens quickly and without hesitation. His kindness and professionalism made a stressful situation much easier for our family. Having worked in Franchise Operations for over 25 years, I can confidently say this was among the best customer service experiences I’ve ever encountered. We truly appreciated the care and hospitality shown to us and will absolutely be returning in the future.

We just checked in, so my review may change. Daughter wanted to shower & it wasn’t really draining, so I unscrewed the plug and it appears the drain has never had the hair removed. There was more I couldn’t pull out but at least it’s draining now. Super gross! I’m sure they’ll need to snake it soon. Thankfully I have disposable gloves. ? Update: The staff were awesome- super helpful and friendly. Heated pool was fantastic, hot tub great, laundry a little pricey. Love the location. Annoying that it was built for tall people- sink was too high for 5yo to wash her hands without help.
