Palm Court Motel offers a charming, nostalgic experience with convenient access to Dunedin’s attractions and Honeymoon Island. Guests consistently praise the clean and well-maintained rooms, friendly service, and thoughtful amenities like beach gear and bike rentals. While occasional issues have been reported, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive.
We absolutely loved our stay at the Palm Court Hotel! It is in the perfect location in Dunedin!! Bike trail is across the street, brewery next door, coffee shop right out front, 5 minutes to the Dunedin causeway! Thank you for a wonderful stay and can’t wait to come back!!
I have stayed at Palm Court multiple times and every time the rooms are deep cleaned with fresh comfortable bedding. The motel has such a cool authentic beachy relaxing vibe and the location is prime for quick access to Honeymoon island and downtown Dunedin.
Attention to detail by management was outstanding. We were provided a quilt and a space heater to stay comfortable during an unusually cold night in Florida. Conveniently located to the Pinellas Trail and downtown. Will book a room here again next time we visit Dunedin.
Palm Court Motel was a delightful surprise. A friend recommended it and we were very pleased with our room which contained an apartment-sized refrigerator with freezer. (We needed that for a family project.) The kitchen had most of the utensils one needs to prepare basic food. As is often the case in hotels/motels, the coffee provided (filter packs) was not the highest grade coffee but it was adequate for a first cup of the day. The exterior and interior decor was beachy whimsical and suited us native Floridians just fine. Much attention had been given to little touches here and there such as tea lights in the exterior of the windows, a shelf built into the spacious stall shower for toiletries. The manager patiently explained the operation of the television and turned on the unit air conditioner for us. Perhaps best of all our mature group was the parking right outside the room door: no long distance travel through a parking lot, down a long hall, into an elevator, etc. Palm Court reminded us of the pleasant, simple motel stays of our childhood.
My husband and I on our way back home had the wonderful opportunity to stay in this beautiful gem! Anthony was so incredibly nice and helpful. We will be going back. The location is lovely.
Love this Motel, Very very clean and has every amenity you could ever want. Great supper clean rooms, fantastic pool and very friendly management. I will stay here every time I visit Florida.
I believe that all of the rooms or at least most of them had been renovated due to flooding from a prior hurricane. So the place is in really good shape. The rooms themselves have most anything that you could really need and is more like a mini Airbnb or verbo than it is a hotel. When we checked in, the owner walked us through the amenities of the room and gave us a little insight on all of the things that they put in place to help their guests be comfortable. They go as far as to provide things for outdoor use like towels and things for the pool as well as a grill in the pool area for cooking and utensils for grilling. We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was comfortable clean. Nice! And the kids had a blast playing in the pool. It's maybe a block or two from the causeway so it's got easy access to get out to honeymoon Island and is right near all of the things in downtown Dunedin.
A great value! So close to Honeymoon Island State park. Rooms were better than I expected. I slept on the pull out bed and was so pleasantly surprised by how comfortable both the bed and the pillows were. Definitely would come back! The owners even have beach chairs and things you can borrow.
My wife and I booked a weekend getaway weeks in advance we prepaid for our room. We get to the motel on Friday and was told we need to have our room refunded and recharged at a more expensive rate. The man and women I’m guessing the owner were so rude. No help in explaining why they had to refund our already paid room and charge us more after we paid weeks in advance. He threw the reservation paper at me. Just an all around horrible experience. Thank god we were able to book at a Tiny home down the street with a much better experience. I will never give these people a dollar of my money. The service is horrible how they could get away with this is beyond me.
Great 1950/60s style motel . Clean pool, nice remodeled room. Greeted by owner,Anthony who shows us all amenities. 15 minute bike road to downtown Dunedin on motel provided bikes. Great value & location. Will return & would recommend to friends and family
