Innisbrook Resort receives mixed reviews, with praise for its staff and overall aesthetics, particularly during golf tournaments and special events. However, recurring concerns exist regarding dated room furnishings, inconsistent service, and logistical issues like delivery difficulties and pool closures. Recent reviews highlight the value proposition and the potential for improvement.
They had a mix up with our room and started cleaning it when we were staying another night... they already bagged up several things. But the issue came when they brought my wife's yeti with liquid in it and my phone back to the room in the same plastic bag. Not happy that I had to get a new phone. Only compancashion I was offered was 1 day of using their pool free................ the lochness is cool... but leafs and twigs galore in the pool with the slides. The water pressure is so high that smaller kids will have issues at slides and main pool had a parties plastic cups and spoons from the bar all over it.... other then that it's a nice place to stay...
I just finished a stay here for a work conference, and while I didn’t get nearly enough time to enjoy everything this stunning resort has to offer, I left with one thing I can’t stop thinking about: the staff. I’ve traveled a lot for work. I’ve stayed in a lot of places. And I can say without hesitation that the team here is among the most genuinely kind, hardworking, and warm groups of people I have ever encountered in hospitality, or honestly anywhere. They, especially the banquet staff, were managing an entire company’s worth of guests, coordinating endless moving pieces, and working long shifts, and they did all of it with real smiles and incredible warmth. They made every single one of my colleagues feel seen and taken care of. That’s not easy. The resort itself is beautiful, and I hope to come back someday and actually enjoy it as a guest. But whoever is responsible for hiring and cultivating this team deserves enormous credit. These are the kinds of people who make a place truly special, and they deserve every recognition and reward that comes their way.
.mThe "Best Kept Secret" for Steak in Tampa Bay We just had another wonderful experience at Packard’s Steakhouse, and it has officially become our go-to spot for the best steak in the Tampa Bay area. This was our second visit, and once again, the food was exceptionally fresh and delicious. My wife loves seafood and the fresh grouper at Packards was tender and most delicious. The service remains top-notch—our server, Ralph, was absolutely awesome and made the evening feel special. If you are looking for a meal that is every bit as good as Bern’s Steakhouse, but without the ungodly wait to get a table, this is the place to go. It offers that classic, high-end steakhouse quality with a much more inviting and accessible atmosphere. Highly recommended!
I recently attended an event at Innisbrook Resort in one of the hospitality suites during the Valspar Championship. I truly appreciated the opportunity to attend and enjoy such a memorable experience. The event was exceptionally well organized, and the hospitality was outstanding. It was a pleasure to connect with fellow guests, take in the tournament from such a great vantage point, and enjoy the thoughtful amenities provided by Brigid Acrey and the sales team throughout the day. The entire staff especially Tammy one of the servers made the experience both enjoyable and meaningful. Thank you again for including me. I’m grateful for the invitation and look forward to visiting the resort again the future!
Overall, the stay was fantastic. I don't get the whole "the rooms need updating" but we only stayed in one so maybe others are outdated. While ours wasn't modern, it had everything we needed and nothing looked old (there were no brown florals like in the 80s or anything). It was more of a muted type of furnishings. That being said, the delivery amenities were our only issues. It's not worth taking off a star (if they had half stars, we probably would take a half off). They strategy of the resort needs to be modernized in our opinion. We don't live far from here and only stayed here as a weekend getaway from our normal surroundings. But we brought a Fire stick and planned to just stream and chill the whole time, while going to the docks for a couple hours. The first day, we wanted to get takeout from Packards, but their takeout ends at 3:30. So we decided to doordash, but you can't unless you have it delivered to the front desk. The campus is so large that this gets rid of any benefit of delivery (they only have one legal address so you can't choose any others). Then we called Salamander Grille and they did do takeout but wouldn't deliver. I know this is nitpicky but current generations want delivery. We don't always want to be social. And every dynamic of our lives is going in this direction. So, the resort should probably modernize a little. Considering their restaurants are on campus, why is it so difficult to just have a delivery since some of the rooms aren't next door to the front office and have them open for remote orders passed 3 (seriously, not all of us go to bed at 6)? Salamander's was great, we absolutely loved it (the Poke bowl was awesome). But the fact we had to get dressed and ready to be out in public when we had already gotten into our chill clothes wasn't optimal. Again, I know it's nitpicky. But I see this as something more people are going to want as older gens leave and current gens become more delivery-minded. Other than that, this place was amazing. Very great place to get away and chill. We didn't experience any loudness or anything else that would have been annoying. And the squirrels are the size of big cats so they are fun to watch. :-)

We came for live music and dinner at the Salamander Grill. The atmosphere was amazing, elegant and comfortable with fire pits and a great band! Our server, Josie, was exceptional! Friendly, respectful and did a fantastic job of taking care of us! Even when we had additional people join us, she was on top of everything! It was a wonderful experience and night!
We spent the day at Innisbrook to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The staff at North course were friendly and accommodating. After our time on the greens we had lunch at Marjet Salamander Grill. Eva greeted us with a friendly smile and got us seated right away at a beautiful table overlooking the course. Josie took such great care of us. She greeted us right away, inquired about our day and made suggestions for lunch. Once we had our food, she checked on and made sure everything was delicious. This was our first time dining here and we will definitely be back!
This is such a stunning property!!! We enjoyed our stay! The landscaping was gold standard and everything was so clean. The check in building had gorgeous woodwork and they had famous golfer portraits on the walls. We had no idea this was the location for a prestigious golfing tournament for the professionals! The on-site restaurant was amazing and literally had the best burger there I have EVER had in my entire life. My husband and I enjoyed sitting at the bar and were graciously served by the nicest bartender! I absolutely want to come back one day. I’m so happy we stumbled upon this on a whim. Thank you, Innisbrook!
The resort is tired and old. The entire place is dated and looks like it hasn’t been refreshed since the 1970’s. The golf courses, and I played all 3, are decent. Nothing spectacular and some tee boxes and fairways are in poor condition. The only good part of the resort is the staff. Besides the front desk that is often confused, the rest of the staff are extremely friendly and polite. Overall, the resort is not worth the price. You can stay and play at a lot of nicer places for a lot less money.
