7 days agoI LOVE this mom and pop motel!! SO clean and SO friendly!! Convenient to the beach and everything- shops restaurants breakfast places!! The room is perfect!!! We will be back for sure and recommend it to everybody!! We stayed here for 2 nights for my mom’s 83rd birthday. So quiet and peaceful and the pool!!! It’s the best!! (Local here from Tarpon Springs FL)

15 days agoWhat a little gem. Attached and Neighboring eateries are very convenient. They include The Frog Pond and Crusty Pelican. The Malibu has a refreshing pool and attentive staff. Beach access across the street as well. We like the size. Small and homey. My brother and sister in law was able to get a room as well.

20 days agoThe room was super clean and pretty large. The manager Debbie was very nice! The restaurant that's connected to the motel was excellent. I was on the first floor and the pool was right outside my door. The only complaint I had is that they won't allow you to stream apps on the television for some reason so all they have is basic cable on the television. I asked about it in a text and they said free Wi-Fi. You can stream on your phone or any other device but I didn't have my laptop with me and I don't like streaming on my phone besides my phone's been giving me problems with charging? anyway again wonderful place. Just be aware that you won't be able to stream any apps on the television.

3 months agoHad such a fun getaway. We are locals and decided to get a room on the beach for our anniversary. This motel is so quaint and cozy. Felt like I was stepping back in time to old Florida. Rooms were very clean. Pool was wonderful. We had such a good experience and will be back for more staycations.

3 months agoThe place is very comfortable, clean and an easy walk across the street to the beach. The rooms have been remodeled very nicely. I like having the larger refrigerator in the room when you stay awhile you fill the small ones to quickly. The bed was more comfortable then my own. The shower has great water pressure (alot of places don't) The staff was so friendly as if they were family.The registration desk every morning had fresh coffee with so many choices of creamers.That was such a great touch! The pool water was warm and clean and beautifuly lit up at night. The chairs outside the room doors were nice to relax outside of your room and you get to meet and talk with your neighbors. I will definitely look to stay at the Malibu Beach Resort if a I get to that area again. Thanks, Vic Rodrigues
