My family has been coming here for 5 years now. It was recommended by a friend because they are dog friendly. We would not be able to go if it were not because we can take our dog. We have in turn recommended it to others. Everything is always perfect ….clean, great service, easy check in and out. Friendly, family atmosphere where we feel safe and welcome. It’s like coming home when we are there. Beach is always glorious and directly across the street. Beautiful pool area with a grill. Hard working lady in charge is always there to make your stay perfect, peaceful, and easy!

Great location and wonderful place.. it is a very ecletic motel but comfortable and well maintained. The beds are great and give a good nights sleep.. we have a small maltese and she loved the area and we met several new pup friends! Thanks for everything,we will come back!

I'm honestly not sure why this is listed as a 2 star hotel on Google. My hubs and I stayed here 1 night for a local wedding. We only live an hour away, but didn't want to have to drive home after the festivities, and this was in our budget. I immediately fell in love with this place! The whole esthetic is so charming. The rooms are very clean and spacious, just not "shiny and new". The pool is perfect! There is a pizza restaurant and bar on site and they offer room service. We decided to dine in, and I'm happy we did. The staff at both the hotel and the restaurant was super friendly. They have happy hour specials and very affordable food. The pizza was ahhh-mazing!!! They are family friendly, pet friendly, and also perfect for a weekend getaway. Even though we live close, we will definitely be back for a longer stay!!!

It was pleasant stay. Everyone was very friendly. This resort had by far the softest towels I’ve ever seen for a hotel. They even have pool and bewch towels in your room for you to use. The water pressure was fantastic, and I loved they had handheld shower heads. They had a larger refrigerator/freezer which was awesome!!! The pool was very clean and they had all sorts of options to relax by the pool. This hotel is not very wheelchair friendly, however the staff did everything in their power to accommodate my son during our stay. The location is perfect. It’s right across the street from the beach, there’s lots of things to do within walking distance. It’s small dog friendly!!!

I LOVE this mom and pop motel!! SO clean and SO friendly!! Convenient to the beach and everything- shops restaurants breakfast places!! The room is perfect!!! We will be back for sure and recommend it to everybody!! We stayed here for 2 nights for my mom’s 83rd birthday. So quiet and peaceful and the pool!!! It’s the best!! (Local here from Tarpon Springs FL)

What a little gem. Attached and Neighboring eateries are very convenient. They include The Frog Pond and Crusty Pelican. The Malibu has a refreshing pool and attentive staff. Beach access across the street as well. We like the size. Small and homey. My brother and sister in law was able to get a room as well.

The room was super clean and pretty large. The manager Debbie was very nice! The restaurant that's connected to the motel was excellent. I was on the first floor and the pool was right outside my door. The only complaint I had is that they won't allow you to stream apps on the television for some reason so all they have is basic cable on the television. I asked about it in a text and they said free Wi-Fi. You can stream on your phone or any other device but I didn't have my laptop with me and I don't like streaming on my phone besides my phone's been giving me problems with charging? anyway again wonderful place. Just be aware that you won't be able to stream any apps on the television.

Had such a fun getaway. We are locals and decided to get a room on the beach for our anniversary. This motel is so quaint and cozy. Felt like I was stepping back in time to old Florida. Rooms were very clean. Pool was wonderful. We had such a good experience and will be back for more staycations.

The place is very comfortable, clean and an easy walk across the street to the beach. The rooms have been remodeled very nicely. I like having the larger refrigerator in the room when you stay awhile you fill the small ones to quickly. The bed was more comfortable then my own. The shower has great water pressure (alot of places don't) The staff was so friendly as if they were family.The registration desk every morning had fresh coffee with so many choices of creamers.That was such a great touch! The pool water was warm and clean and beautifuly lit up at night. The chairs outside the room doors were nice to relax outside of your room and you get to meet and talk with your neighbors. I will definitely look to stay at the Malibu Beach Resort if a I get to that area again. Thanks, Vic Rodrigues
