The Hollander Hotel consistently receives positive feedback, highlighting its charming vintage aesthetic, friendly and attentive staff, and excellent location in downtown St. Pete. Guests rave about the comfortable rooms, delicious food and drinks, and lively pool scene, creating a memorable and welcoming experience.
I had an amazing stay at the Hollander Hotel! The staff truly made the experience special. Michelle, the pool bartender, was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and always provided great service with a smile. The front desk staff was equally impressive, always fast, helpful, and attentive whenever I needed anything. The location is perfect for exploring downtown St. Pete, and the pool area was one of the highlights of my trip. The pool party was a blast with a great atmosphere and friendly people. I also loved the restaurant—the food was delicious and the service was excellent. Overall, the Hollander Hotel has an amazing team, a fun and welcoming vibe, and everything you need for a great stay. I can't wait to come back!
Love the Hollander. This and Avalon next store are my 2 favorite hotels in St. Pete. Hollander has a quaint feel and cozy rooms. Beds are comfortable and the pool area is beautiful. Staff is friendly and food is fabulous. The only thing I had trouble with this time was the AC (309). When it clicked on to cool the fan was so loud it woke me up repeatedly. I am a frequent guest and mention this not to deter but to let management know as they truly care about the property and will look into this I'm sure. I highly recommend staying at Hollander for a quant comfortable experience and Avalon for chic comfortable experience. ??
If you’re staying at the Hollander Hotel in St. Pete, do yourself a favor and grab a seat at the bar with Taylor behind it. Taylor is hands down one of the best bartenders I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. From the moment you sit down, you’re treated like a valued guest rather than just another customer. Not only does Taylor make incredible drinks with skill and consistency, but the level of hospitality is truly exceptional. Friendly, engaging, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do, Taylor creates an atmosphere that makes you want to stay for “just one more” drink. Whether you’re looking for recommendations, great conversation, or simply outstanding service, Taylor delivers every time. What really sets Taylor apart is the ability to make every guest feel welcome and appreciated. The energy, professionalism, and personality behind the bar elevate the entire Hollander Hotel experience. It’s rare to find someone who combines expertise and authenticity so effortlessly. Five stars aren’t enough—Taylor is a true asset to the Hollander Hotel and a big reason I’ll be coming back. Highly recommend stopping by and experiencing their exceptional service for yourself!
????? We have checked into the Holland Hotel and are only on day 1 of our 5-day stay, but so far we are absolutely loving it! The hotel hosted a pool party with a DJ and a trivia night, which was a fun surprise since it wasn’t something we specifically searched for when booking. The Greek salad was delicious, the bakery is amazing, and the staff has been wonderful with our children. The location is great—only about 24 minutes from the pier—with easy and convenient parking. For just $648 for our stay, we feel like we are getting incredible value. Everything has exceeded our expectations so far, and we are very happy with our choice. Looking forward to the rest of our vacation!
I recently stayed at the Hollander Hotel and had a mixed experience. The biggest issue was that when we first checked in, the air conditioning wasn't working and the room temperature was around 85–90°F. We later found out that a circuit breaker had been tripped, but unfortunately we spent the first night uncomfortably hot while waiting for the room to cool down. That said, the staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and the location is excellent. The hotel offers free parking, which is a huge plus in the area. The pool area was also nice and provided a relaxing place to spend some time. Overall, the staff, location, and amenities were great, but the AC issue significantly impacted our first night.
Now this is a place I don't want to review as im afraid I'll never get my favorite rooms again. No, seriously! If you're thinking about a place to stay downtown, Saint Petersburg, this is it! From having a wonderful breakfast, lunch/dinner menu combined, amazing service all around and a pool party every Sunday - it feels like the rooms are a bonus but definitely not to be overlooked. The style of this hotel and every room is impeccable, truly very Gatsby. I absolutely love this beautiful boutique hotel, which I have called it my home away from home - every time I'm in the area! Thank you to the owner and amazing staff for always making my stay memorable and amazing.
This is a delightful stay, comfortable rooms and friendly and helpful staff. Walkable (15-30 min walks) to a lot of the art museums and central ave shops and restaurants. The restaurant and cafe have great food at very reasonable prices. My only regret is that I didn’t make it to the pool bar. This place manages to find the balance between being buzzy and lively and quiet and private. I would absolutely stay here again.
I had an excellent stay at the Hollander Hotel in St. Pete, and it’s easily one of those places that gets the fundamentals right while still having character. First off, the staff was great across the board, friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming without being overbearing. From check-in to any small interactions throughout the stay, it felt like they actually cared about the guest experience, which goes a long way. The overall vibe of the hotel struck a really nice balance between rustic and modern. It has personality without feeling dated, and it’s stylish without trying too hard. You can tell there was intention behind the design choices, and it creates a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere the moment you walk in. The room itself was excellent. Clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully laid out. The bed deserves special mention, it was absolutely amazing and easily one of the most comfortable hotel beds I’ve slept in. After a long day, that kind of comfort matters more than people realize, and the Hollander absolutely delivered there. Location is another major win. The hotel is perfectly situated for getting around St. Pete, whether you’re walking, grabbing food nearby, or heading out to explore. Everything felt convenient without being in the middle of chaos. Overall, the rooms were great, the experience was smooth, and nothing felt overlooked. This is the kind of hotel you stay at once and immediately know you’ll be back. Anytime I’m in St. Pete, the Hollander Hotel will be my first choice without hesitation
Very cute and eclectic hotel the staff was very nice. The restaurant downstairs is very convenient. They have just about everything. Bartender made me a fantastic martini. The food was delicious. The only issue I had at one point. I wanted to work downstairs and couldn’t connect to the Wi-Fi not sure why but overall fantastic location close to everything self parking available although a little bit limited but will definitely recommend it and come back.
I’m usually very loyal to a b&b in Gulfport when I’m in st Pete but decided to try a new place and I was delighted by the Hollander. The room was decent for a night. It was martini Monday which I thoroughly enjoyed by the lovely pool in the courtyard. Love the proximity to the st Pete pier which I walked to in the morning and it felt very safe. Loved enjoying coffee on site on the front porch. Super homey.
