Holiday Isles Resort consistently receives positive feedback, particularly regarding its convenient location, proximity to the beach and restaurants, and friendly staff. While cleanliness and room quality are frequently praised, several recent reviews highlight concerns about pest issues and outdated facilities. The property’s value is seen as a strength by many guests seeking affordable accommodations near the Gulf Coast.

Was in the area for a few days and had the pleasure of finding this place.... The rooms are all redone since the hurricane so they are super clean and well done. It's a smaller facility with roughly 12 to 15 rooms I can't remember exactly. The pool area is fantastic. Designated parking Outback. Location is perfect...multiple great restaurants within 5 min walk.....Crabbys restaurant seafood chowder is next level and I will be going back again just for that. Directly across from the beach so only a minute walk to the water. The staff was fantastic and kept on checking if there were any cancellations so I could stay another night unfortunately only the one night was available...... Definitely will be booking again for a longer stay....October i hope

This place is extremely underrated! We do not understand the bad reviews. We just had a wonderful stay! All of the staff we encountered were friendly and accommodating. It is an older Fl. Motel but it is very nicely redone. I really enjoyed the pool. Also, the Reef restaurant is right next door serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The beach is literally across the street. This place was convenient and quaint. We cannot wait to stay there again!

Came here with my girlfriend and we were both satisfied with the great view and very cozy. Room is clean and the guy in the front gives great service. Theres good restaurants, bars, beach and just good people in this area. This is my 8th time coming here for business and vacation and everytime it's a great stay and again service is outstanding and the environment is very safe and beautiful.

So sad that I have to come and write a review. I love the location, the Colombian guy was very kind and helpful that checked us in. I went to get some food and when I came back there was a live roach ? the kind that look like the German cockroaches. Unfortunately it was after hours so I didn’t know what to do. I had to put my toothbrush in the fridge and tried to put all my belongings off areas. I had to work the next day so It was important that I get sleep. I was so scared to go to sleep because All I could think about was the fact that if there’s one roach there’s more. We left the lights on.. I tossed and turned and when I went to the bathroom there was another roach alive. There was a tiny hole under the shower and I watched him crawl in there because I wasn’t fast enough to kill it. Then I had to plug the hole with toilet paper because I didnt want him to come back out. The bed was absolutely horrible I was in room 38 pillows as well. I could feel the springs in the mattress and it dipped in the middle so it kills your back. The next day I told the Colombian guy and he moved us to another room which was much better no roaches better bed etc. I appreciated that although I was ready to leave- the policy said no refunds so since the 2nd night was better I stayed that night. I kindly asked they give me a nights stay in the nicer room or something because it’s not fair I couldn’t even sleep the first night. They said they would ask the manger. I called 3x I told them if they do something to make me feel whole I won’t complain but it’s not right- nobody ever called back. I have a video to prove it. Again, the 2nd room which was further from the room I was in was much better and the employee was very kind it wasn’t his fault… but they know they have roaches I will be contacting my bank since nobody bothered to call me back. Here’s one video. I understand no refunds in a typical situation but this is not ok. Lastly, I stay many places even though I live locally- I enjoy supporting local businesses for me to have to write this review in a negative light makes me sad ? I never complained about the bed but roaches - that’s where I draw the line. I feel like they blew me off in the end like - oh we changed your room- yeah but what about the entire night I couldn’t sleep because I was scared roaches will crawl in my ears… also, we were freezing cold there is no heater and they only had the blanket on the bed

This was the worst experience I've ever had. I should have known as soon as I received a paper at check in mentioning no parties, no drugs, no bringing back people to rooms. Clearly the good reviews are from when this was owned by the previous owners before the hurricanes. These people have no idea how to run a hotel. I did Not feel safe here. There was no bolted lock on my door and no Do Not Disturb sign to hang. A staff member flung open my door at 1 pm without any knock or warning. I had to make my own sign to hang on the door. How do you not know this room is occupied? He wasn't even a maid. I don't think they even have maids. I never saw one and I was there 2 nights. There are ashtrays on every table outside every door. This place is trashy and has trashy occupants. People partying in every room with their doors open blaring music late at night. The inside was disgustingly dirty and I did not want to touch anything. The shower curtain had mold, the sink was dirty, dead bugs on the window sill in the kitchen, dirty couch, no cover on the light, no lock on door, door barely closed all the way, yellow stains on the bed covers, unsafe and unlit parking lot. RUN!!

This was hands down one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. I booked a one-bed room online, but at check-in they randomly gave me a two-bed instead. Not complaining about the extra bed, but it was immediately obvious the staff had no idea what they were doing. The room was absolutely disgusting. The shower curtain was visibly stained, the floors were covered in old stains, and it genuinely looked like they hadn’t been mopped in months. After walking around barefoot for a short time, my feet were literally black. The sink didn’t drain at all, the shower water never got hot (even when turned all the way up), and to top it off, there was a dead roach under the kitchen sink. They actually had the nerve to call us offering “early check-in” — to THIS room — when it was still filthy. On top of an already disappointing stay, they charge $15 for parking, plus a $150 incidental fee that staff casually said takes “about a week” to come back, even if the room is left exactly as found. The WiFi does not work at all. The password doesn’t work, and staff admitted it basically doesn’t exist, making the crooked, half-mounted TV completely useless. The lampshade was stained, the beds were rock-hard with paper-thin covers, and sleeping was incredibly uncomfortable. I guess if you’re desperate and just need somewhere to crash (and don’t care about cleanliness, comfort, or basic functionality), it might be passable for the price. Otherwise, do yourself a favor and stay literally anywhere else. I will never stay here again.

The worst motel layout in my 60 years of travel. Room was clean. Parking sucks, no handicap. Security sucks. Reception sucks. Management wants you to sign a long list of does and don’t including a fine of $500 if you one of items in the list. Bars on windows are decorative. No ventilation in bathroom. No WiFi. No telephone. Parking is $15 behind the motel on another street.

The reviews of this place are kind of all over the place. I took a chance and booked it anyway for a two night weekend stay. Was not a very good experience. Nothing overly bad happened but the room was grossly dirty. Our feet were stained from walking around with no shoes on. There was a layer of dust in the wardrobe and dirt built up in the corners. They mentioned it was newly renovated due to hurricane damage and you could tell they did repairs as cheap as possible. There was paint on the floors, shower curtain, in the sink. The hot water didn’t work in the shower. The bed was massively uncomfortable, felt like sleeping on the floor. They give you a tiny paper thin blanket. The staff were friendly when they were available. The pool area was nice but we never used it. The best thing this place had to offer was the free parking (only if you book on their website) and the price. But I’m sure you could find a cleaner room for a similar price. Disappointed.

The staff was wonderful at accommodating our large group. The rooms were spacious, the pool was clean. The grill and Pavillion area was kept clean as well as we used it both nights. What a great gem of a hotel!! My ONLY negative comment would be no ice machine. But that didn't matter cause we'll definitely be back!

You can tell when something is well taken care off. I truly appreciate it. Came expecting not much. I was surprised of how clean and simply beautiful it is. JIC, I brought my cleaning supplies, I didn't need to use it. The staff are wicked nice. Great food, in a reasonable walking distance. Quiet. Safe. Lov'it! Always be you! ????? #H2BMe #BeBad #BlessingsandNamaste #Viral
