Great location right on the water. Decent rooms but maybe on the small side. A restaurant and a bar right on the premises with really good food. Yep nice outdoor pools that were quite warm. A bit of a walk to get to the water (ocean) because of the expansive sandy beach. There is a Publix about a block to the south. Drive was good... the offer pool towels, free bicycle and beach chair use, lots of pool toys and floaties as well. All rooms are accessed from the outside. Several have balconies and small kitchens. Also there was live entertainment in the afternoons. Beach umbrellas and cabanas are available to rent on the beach, but these are not owned or operated by the hotel. There is limited free parking in the hotel lot, with overflow parking across the street by Walgreens. Note that there is a daily resort fee in addition to the room charge.

stayed here before but not the same rooms in the tower smell musty! a/c sounds like a helicopter going off in the room. restaurant looks like it was decorated in the 70's food bad. Staff was nice but will never stay here again shower didn't drain. and the shampoo, conditioner body wash dispenser was totally empty. TV had TERRIBLE channel choices. Also spoke with others at the pool they basically said the same. I spoke with manager Kim she said she would comp me amenities charge 161.00 only comped 131.00. Do yourself a favor go somewhere else! especially for the money I was charged. extremely disappointed! won't be back.

**A Perfect Florida Beach Hotel – The Bilmar Delivers** ????? My family has been visiting St Pete Beach for over 30 years, so we know the area well. Our usual base, the Dolphin Beach Resort, is sadly still closed following hurricane damage, which meant finding somewhere new that could live up to our expectations. The Bilmar more than stepped up. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this is a hotel that takes real pride in itself. Staff were out every morning keeping the place clean and tidy, and it genuinely felt like a proper, classic Florida beach hotel — exactly the kind of place that's becoming harder to find. Right on the beach, well maintained, and with a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere that instantly put us at ease. The little extras go a long way here. Free towels at the pool, complimentary bottled water and coffee, pool floats available for guests, and rooms cleaned daily — nothing was overlooked. It's the sort of attention to detail that makes a holiday feel effortless. A special mention has to go to Avi. Genuinely one of the friendliest and most helpful members of staff we've encountered anywhere. His local knowledge was spot on — great restaurant recommendations and tips on the best places to visit during our stay. He's a real credit to the hotel. All in all, a perfect stay. The Bilmar has earned itself a loyal returning guest.

We had such a great experience here! The staff were all so friendly and helpful with any accommodation we needed. We loved that they always had towels and waters ready by the pool. There are two pools so there is lots of space to sun. The hotel is right on the beach so we were able to easily get beach access. The only thing I would caution is that there is live music across the street till late at night every night. Thankfully, We had brought our own sound machine which helped a bit with sound but if we hadn’t brought that I would not have been able to sleep! Otherwise I would definitely recommend the bilmar for views, comfort, and beach proximity!

We stayed here Presidents Week (February 2026) for four days and three nights. If you’re looking for a luxury, state of the art hotel this is not it; however, the Bilmar is low key, beach side and perfect for a couples getaway. There are two pools, a hot tub and a short walk to the beach with towels and chairs provided. The price was reasonable, you could at times hear slight noise from the adjacent room, and the main concern was that the door to the room did not fully close so there were times you’d come back from a day out and find that your door could be easily pushed open and room accessed. This condition was noted on other rooms and was we made the staff aware upon checking out. If it wasn’t for the lack of a secure room this likely would’ve been a five star review.

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in my life! To start the room is in no way compliant to code. The walk way space between the wall and bed is maybe 18 inches or less! The bathroom is so gross with disgusting dirty broken tile. There were issues with the television and WiFi. The water was shut off numerous times without warning. The parking situation was horrible, the “overflow” parking was across the street at the Walgreens on the corner. Housekeeping was rude, they came to clean the room and we asked them if they could come back in 10 minutes after we finished dressing and got a dirty look as she walked away. Also the location is the absolute worst with loud motor cycles constantly going by to the open air bar across the street that has a volume comparable to concert levels! You can hear every single word and scream coming from that place! The only thing that I found that was truthfully advertised about the place was the view of the beach and water, which was nice. But, it certainly didn’t make up for all the other issues with this hotel. We won’t be back.

It's a "Five Star" 3-star hotel! I absolutely love this place. It's EXACTLY what I want when I want a "beach hotel." However, Google Maps is incorrect; it is not a 4-star hotel, it's a 3-star hotel. I don't WANT an upscale luxury 4-star hotel anyway. It's my favourite hotel, well-maintained with great, well-decorated rooms, nice front desk staff and a good restaurant. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a care-free beach vacation at a fabulous 3-star hotel.

Wonderful family vacation over Christmas. We were delighted with the double room so we could have a little privacy as a family. The little kitchenette was perfect for quick family snacks. Room is beautifully updated, beds and pillows very comfortable. Access to the beach was awesome and having the “take a toy, leave a toy” was a huge perk with young kids. Staff was incredibly kind, we felt so welcomed and relaxed right from the start.

The staff was kind and helpful. The room was clean and had a nice kitchenette. The bar had great vibes. It had a very modern look with a very calming, relaxing atmosphere. The bartender was friendly and helpful. The upstairs hangout area was nice my husband and I enjoyed cornhole and the jenga set up top. The pool was warm great for colder nights. Sloppy joes was amazing food with a great price compared to other restaurants in the area. Only con was the show water pressure and how long it takes for the water to get warm. So just start the shower a little before you plan to get in. Once it is warm though it stays warm a while. All around a great stay!

Attending a wedding at this Hotel and it blew us away with how awesome everything was! From the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out it was a very memorable weekend. The staff was 5 stars and so nice. They all seemed to be happy to help, answer questions or just BS some. Special shout out and a cheers to, Luis, Nick, Avi, Denise, Harry, Renee and Tori! They worked the wedding event and/or provided services that were memorable throughout our stay and they all should get an extra bonus in their next checks! The room was great, clean, and picturesque. I made sure that houskeeping knew we appreciated her hard work as well. Thank you Bilmar, I'll see you again soon and even though I am a local resident, I'll make this my go to place anytime I need to stay in Treasure Island or have anyone ask me the best place to be at.
