Beso Del Sol Resort receives mixed reviews, with some guests praising its waterfront views, convenient location, and friendly staff. However, recurring concerns about room conditions, including mold, musty smells, and outdated fixtures, are noted. Recent reviews highlight inconsistencies in room quality and a need for consistent maintenance.

I would not consider this a vacation destination. We have stayed multiple times, and we will go back again as we are in the area to visit family. I would not consider this to be a vacation destination. Service is typically a "non-factor" for us, as we are visiting family and just looking for a place to sleep and shower. The bed was uncomfortable, and they did promptly order a new "bamboo topper" for the mattress, and said that they would replace the mattress if necessary. Rates are competitive for the area. The rooms could use some updating. We did have a nice view of the Caladesi Island. The sunset was very nice from our balcony. There is a bar on the bottom floor which closes at a reasonable hour, but the room was noisy during the afternoon and early evening from the crowd below.

Amazing little getaway right down the road from Tarpon Springs and on the edge of Dunedin this place is just the coolest. Stay in the room stay on the property. Enjoy the food in the tiki bar they have or take a stroll up in the Dunedin run an electric bike get on the Pinellas Trail spend a day at the honeymoon Island. Just an excellent

Nice size rooms, pool and spa area was very clean. Great view from the pool deck. Easy walk to downtown shops, restaurants, and awesome rails to trails pathway just minutes away. Causeway to Honeymoon Key state park 5 minute drive.

This review is a bit torn. On one hand we love the resort. Staff here is incredible. They were all nice, welcoming, and would even remember your name. Our house keeper Rado was helpful in everyday ensuring we had toiletries and clean towels the whole time we were here while helping us keep the place clean by removing our trash and spent towels. The view from our room was incredible and the bar below was a great addition to it all. With that said there are some serious area of concern. When we first arrived to our first room 317, we were greeted with an unbearable mold and musty smell. When I went to take a shower the drain did not drain and she shower started filling with water. Then we discovered water had seeped from the shower floor flooding the bathroom floor. After calling emergency maintenance, which never showed up to address the issue the front desk was helpful in assist us into room 320. Room 320 was better, but still has musty smells along with mold in the shower. Cleaning was alright, did have a few cockroaches scurry around along with crumbs under table and bed. Management would not offer any type of remburstment for the inconvenience and risk to our health besides 5% off 1 night. Overall, Beso Del Sol is a decent place and has alot to offer, but I think we will be looking for a different place to stay going forward as its a roll of the dice on how bad the condition of your room will be.

The water view is beautiful! Heated pool and hotub available for guests. Kitchenette with a full size fridge, cozy bathroom, clean rooms and a tiki bar on the main floor. Very reasonably priced. Staff was friendly and professional.

Very nice place but I picked a poor day and a down period for the place. Room was excellent and fabulous view but it was cold and appeared they had a storm. The pool was in shambles with chairs and tables thrown all around and the pool was filled with leaves and debris. The under positioned bar was under construction and a very unappealing presence. I felt that it was left wo work because of the off-season period. We didn't stay on site because of the appearance and felt 2/3 of the package was diminished. The resort could have spent 15min to just not allow a post-hurricane appearance.

I have been going to Beso Del Sol Resort for years! Usually staying twice a year in the March-April (spring break) and August-September ranges. The Staff are nice and accommodating going above and beyond for its customers! PAY Attention to check in and out times for your rooms they are much different than other places. Waterfront View rooms are my favorite! The resort side pool and hot tub are great! Sun sets are absolutely amazing here! Marker 8 tiki bar is a great addition to this resort and the +21 pool! Manager Tim is always having a good time with the free sun set shot! Mike has always been good serving drinks at the bar! Although most of the staff is new year after year. Food is good tacos, fries, chicken tenders. Marker 8 usually has some kind of live entertainment and it does close early. Great place to watch the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Also close to MLB spring training for the Philadelphia Phillies and Toronto Blue Jays. Definitely like the chill vibe this place has!

What an amazing experience we had. 1st time there & the staff at the front desk is what topped everything off for our weekend. We will keep coming back over & over! 1 bedroom suite was pretty awesome too. 2 thumbs up to front desk for making us feel so at home!!!!!

Pros: Premises on the water; Lg layout in 2br, 2fl "Comfort Suite #419"; Tastefully decorated; Complimentary laundry; Open-air bar & grill (Marker8) on site; Great sunsets Cons: Awkward unit layout (i.e., no windows in LR, no closets in BR's); No fan in main bath; 2 LOUD wall unit a/c's on 1st and 1 free-standing unit in br2 (up); Elevator vs stairs; Limited parking on site (additional parking one block over). Check in at 4p. We arrived early (11a) and sat at bar until room was ready (3:30p). Bar's pork quesadilla was thick and tasty. Elevator was at one end of bldg & stairs at other. Our room was next to stairs, closest to road (exit). Used the elevator first. One has to navigate the zig-zag walkway to rooms (4 steps/turn, repeat) which is tedious. We mostly used steps. The a/c is ridiculously loud and runs every 5-10 min, making it almost impossible to hear the tv's. We also had to leave br doors open to keep living areas cool. We enjoyed ourselves despite the disappointments and will look to compare with other resorts available (w our travel plan) in the area.

Beautiful view of the Florida Sunset, we had a balcony with a water view. Clean well stocked kitchenette, had everything we needed. Convenient loading with carts and elevator. Grounds were nice and the staff was pleasant and very helpful. Marker 8 bar was below us but on schedule music ended and grounds became quite shortly after sunset. We will be back~thank you for a good time!
