Beso Del Sol Resort consistently receives positive feedback for its beautiful waterfront location, convenient access to downtown Dunedin, and friendly staff. Guests particularly enjoy the Marker 8 bar and restaurant, as well as the resort’s amenities like golf carts and proximity to the Pinellas Trail. However, some recent reviews have raised concerns about room cleanliness and maintenance issues, including mold and outdated furnishings.

Just came for a brief staycation. It was nice. Room was very clean. View was lovely. Comfortable bed. Just read all the things ahead of time and you'll be fine! The bar downstairs is super convenient.

?????????? If you’re looking for the perfect Dunedin getaway, stop scrolling and book Beso Del Sol. From the moment we arrived, everything was effortless. The resort is beautiful, clean, and sits right on the water with some of the best views in town. We spent our days cruising around in a golf cart (which they conveniently delivered and picked up), exploring downtown Dunedin, shopping, eating, and just enjoying ourselves. Marker 8 was a huge highlight—the food was delicious, the drinks were strong, and the waterfront atmosphere was unbeatable. Downtown is less than 5 minutes away, making it easy to enjoy all the local shops and restaurants. We had dinner at The Black Pearl and it was absolutely worth the hype. What really made this stay stand out was the hospitality. The General Manager, went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The staff was amazing. Dunedin has a lot of great places, but Beso Del Sol feels like one of those places you almost don’t want to tell people about because it’s that good. We’ll definitely be back

The best hidden gem in Dunedin! ? We recently stayed at Beso Del Sol Resort and had an amazing experience from start to finish. The staff was incredible, the resort was spotless, and the views were absolutely breathtaking. The food and drinks at Marker 8 were fantastic—the food was delicious and the drinks were definitely worth ordering! We rented a golf cart, which was super easy. They delivered it right to us and picked it up when we were done. Downtown Dunedin is less than 5 minutes away and filled with great shops, restaurants, and things to do. We had dinner at the Black Pearl, which I highly recommend, and even spent time making candles while exploring the area. A special thank you to Jeremy, the General Manager, for making sure our stay was perfect. His attention to detail and hospitality truly made a difference. Beso Del Sol will definitely be our go-to place whenever we’re in Dunedin. Highly recommend! ???? ?????????? #staycation #besodelsol #dunedinlocal #kissofthesun

Stopped here for a few days while the husband was on a training course. Its a nice set up with a publicly accessible bar and restaurant with a pool buy if you sre a guest at the hotel, you have a separate pool which is fenced off from the public area. Drinks are plentiful and therr is table/lounger service for any drinks or food you order. The entertainment is positioned more in the public area so you can have a little less noise at the pool area but still feel included. Grest location for Dunedin and surrounding bars and restaurants.

We had a water-view room which was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the private balcony for the sunset. The pool was a bit chilly but refreshing and it was nice to be able to order drinks and food poolside. We enjoyed our stay and will be back soon.

I would not consider this a vacation destination. We have stayed multiple times, and we will go back again as we are in the area to visit family. I would not consider this to be a vacation destination. Service is typically a "non-factor" for us, as we are visiting family and just looking for a place to sleep and shower. The bed was uncomfortable, and they did promptly order a new "bamboo topper" for the mattress, and said that they would replace the mattress if necessary. Rates are competitive for the area. The rooms could use some updating. We did have a nice view of the Caladesi Island. The sunset was very nice from our balcony. There is a bar on the bottom floor which closes at a reasonable hour, but the room was noisy during the afternoon and early evening from the crowd below.

Amazing little getaway right down the road from Tarpon Springs and on the edge of Dunedin this place is just the coolest. Stay in the room stay on the property. Enjoy the food in the tiki bar they have or take a stroll up in the Dunedin run an electric bike get on the Pinellas Trail spend a day at the honeymoon Island. Just an excellent

This review is a bit torn. On one hand we love the resort. Staff here is incredible. They were all nice, welcoming, and would even remember your name. Our house keeper Rado was helpful in everyday ensuring we had toiletries and clean towels the whole time we were here while helping us keep the place clean by removing our trash and spent towels. The view from our room was incredible and the bar below was a great addition to it all. With that said there are some serious area of concern. When we first arrived to our first room 317, we were greeted with an unbearable mold and musty smell. When I went to take a shower the drain did not drain and she shower started filling with water. Then we discovered water had seeped from the shower floor flooding the bathroom floor. After calling emergency maintenance, which never showed up to address the issue the front desk was helpful in assist us into room 320. Room 320 was better, but still has musty smells along with mold in the shower. Cleaning was alright, did have a few cockroaches scurry around along with crumbs under table and bed. Management would not offer any type of remburstment for the inconvenience and risk to our health besides 5% off 1 night. Overall, Beso Del Sol is a decent place and has alot to offer, but I think we will be looking for a different place to stay going forward as its a roll of the dice on how bad the condition of your room will be.

The water view is beautiful! Heated pool and hotub available for guests. Kitchenette with a full size fridge, cozy bathroom, clean rooms and a tiki bar on the main floor. Very reasonably priced. Staff was friendly and professional.
