Arvilla Resort Motel is a true mixed-bag, praised for its renovated, beach-accessible, and comfortable suites with excellent service from managers like Angie and Amy. However, a few recent bad experiences involving sewage backups, bed bugs, and damaged facilities have cast a shadow over its reputation, leading to accusations of the property being poorly managed.

Arvilla resort is on the beach, although the edge of the water is about 150 yds away. Spectacular location for sunsets. Clean and well kept. Pool is about 80 degrees. Perfect

SCAM!!! Do not book. Booked for $100 on 1/10/26. Trying to get my money refunded thru booking.com. Hotel was vacant, sign on door to go motel next door who informs us staff and manager quit. Shows us a room with a door that will not close all the way and no lock - feces on carpet - disgusting. Left me scrambling to find a room in the area. There were no guests present or cars. Like a scene from Bates Motel. Assuming the other recent reviews are fake.

Took my family here from New Years was told rooms are remodeled. What they don't tell you is the mattresses are about 20 years old disgusting and have bed bugs crawling on them. Wall plugs are not covered. Ac has mold in it. No refunds. I called the health board in Treasure Island and hopefully they do something. No one is there on property office has the dumbest hours I ever seen for a hotel. I have told everyone I know about this place and posted on Facebook.

We booked Arvilla Resort as a true last-minute New Year’s getaway when everything else was completely booked. We honestly took a gamble, and it paid off. Don’t judge a book by its cover. The rooms have been completely renovated and are spotless. Everything felt fresh and well cared for. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the pillows were so amazing that we actually tracked them down online and ordered some for home. The chairs outside each room are a thoughtful touch, perfect for relaxing in the evenings. While the pool was a bit too cold for us to get in, it was very clean and we saw staff maintaining it daily. One of the best perks: step right outside and you’re on the beach. It’s also within easy walking distance to many great restaurants, which made the stay even more convenient. We loved the keyless entry with a 4-digit code, no worrying about losing keys or cards. The mini-kitchen was well appointed, and the updated coffee pot was a nice bonus. Pots, pans, utensils, plates, coffee cups, bowls etc. Special shout-out to Amy, she was incredibly kind, professional, and welcoming. That personal touch really made a difference. We will absolutely be returning and would recommend Arvilla Resort to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, beachfront stay in Treasure Island.

Our room was beautiful, with a kitchenette. Perfect location, as the pool was right there, and a lovely sitting area right outside our door. The beach is beautiful, with trails to walk. The manager was absolutely amazing!!! She's there for all of your needs. We will be back!! And my daughter is going to plan a stay, as well. I 100% recommend!!!

My stay at the Arvilla was exceptional The room was recently renovated. Everything was super clean and cozy. The pool was crystal clear. The staff was helpful, pleasant and quick to respond to any questions. Great location to beach and close to places to eat. I highly recommend it and I will definitely be back !

I booked thru Airbnb, check in was easy. Pictures don't do it justice, it's better. Our room was comfortable and spotless. King size bed. 75' TV. Fridge and Keurig Pool was prestine, watched pool Co come daily. Angie, property mgr was friendly and quick to answer. Mike, maintenance man, was knowledgeable and ready to accommodate us in any way. And I can't say enough nice things about Lisa Marie, housekeeping. She checked on us daily. DO NOT MISS A SUNSET! Beach/ocean is a literal 2 minute walk from the pool. We can't wait to be back in May. Thank you for a great vacation!

Treasure found in Treasure Island! The rooms, the staff, the service.... I cannot say enough great things. I booked our room because availability aligned with what we needed, and the price was right. Being Floridians, we planned this trip with low expectations and high hopes because of the 2024 hurricane season and appreciating what our beaches and related businesses endured. Were we ever impressed to arrive at this place to find the rooms completely remodeled, beautifully designed with cozy, coastal decor, comfortable beds, hot water, fresh towels, spotless; everything we needed for our 6-night stay. This isn't a high rise with a beach bar, on location dining, room service, or outlandish prices. Instead it's PERFECTION. An old Florida style, quaint, quiet, beach getaway that reminds me of my childhood summer vacations with family. Where you make friends with other guests and their kiddos in hopes to see them again on future stays. The staff was available, quick to respond, and accommodating of our every need. WE WILL BE BACK and I'm already planning my return trip in September for my birthday. THANK YOU, Angie, Lisa, Carlos, and your awesome maintenance crew for the perfect stay!! ?????

This was hands down the worst experience we’ve ever had at a “resort” Let me start with there is no office or manager on the property. Thankfully, we ran into the maintenance guy who was able to let us in our room. The first night our tub backed up with sewage water, filling the entire room with a horrible sulfur/rotten egg smell that never went away. It was completely unsanitary and made it impossible to stay comfortably. So the maintenance guy was able to move us to a new room, which turned out to be worse. we could tell right away that the room hadn’t been cleaned. There was blood on the sheets food in the fridge and a lingering odor. I’m going to assume was from the leftover food in the trash that was not taken out. To make matters worse, management was extremely unprofessional. The woman, Angie in charge repeatedly promised us a refund, even swore to it—but weeks later, we still haven’t received a dime. Every time we followed up, we were either ignored or given more excuses. Oh, and I almost forgot so let me add how the TV in our room did not work. Our dresser was broke and the Wi-Fi also did not work. The entire property was poorly maintained, the facilities were disgusting, and the customer service was non-existent. This place is a health hazard and a total scam. Avoid Arvilla Resort at all costs.

We stayed in the suite in room 116. It was like an apartment with a full kitchen, the kids loved their own little space with the bunk beds and the beds were SO comfortable. They are still renovating from the hurricane but our room was renovated and absolutely adoreable with the beachy vibe. The pool was right outside our door, small hotel so it was really quiet. The kids had the pool to themselves majority of the time. It has its own access to the beach and Angie from the office could not have been more helpful. She was one of the nicest people we've ever met. You do have to check in right down the road at their sister hotel Oasis but it was no big deal. The only difficult thing was the parking. The contractors had their trucks blocking half of the very few parking spots they have available which I dont think management was aware as the office is at the other hotel for now. Regardless of that, We will definitely be returning.
