This informal hotel is a gem. When we saw the lobby, we were scared and dissapointed because it looked old and very small, not a luxurious lobby like other hotels, but we were greeted by an excellent front desk employee that made us feel good. Our surprise was when we got to our room, a spacious, clean, and comfortable apartment. The beds, the decor, the bathrooms, and view was just what you would expect of a top beach resort. I had a private room with batroom, and my daughter, her husband and the baby had a beautiful king size bed with a view, also with a private room. The living room has a queen sofa bed, TV's in every room, granite countertops, complete kitchen, microwave, 2 dishwasher soaps, new Washer and dryer (better than the ones I have at home), and a big dinning room table for 6. They also supplied the beach towels. The hotel is right on the beach, were you can rent the chairs for $10 and the umbrella for $20. There's a little caffe on the premises, a big swimming pool, jacuzzi, and on the other side, a small kiddy pool. They also a a very small bar between the 2 pools with amazing drinks. Around the hotel there are a few restaurants, Walgreens and a Publix supermarket about 4 minutes away by car. We had a wonderful time and we are sure we will come back soon. I loved it!

Pros- beautiful location, great pools & Tiki bar Cons- rooms need updates, & cleaned better. Ours was still dirty. Pull out couch mattress was horrible.Couldn't get us checked in until after an hour from check in time. Staff came into our room without knocking or using the doorbell (that works) to put ice in our fridge. Completely disrespectful. Was hard to enjoy the balcony with all the cigarette smoke & marijuana smell. I was hoping for a better experience with the good reviews I've seen

Made an emergency booking here when our original plans did not pan out with the location that we had initially booked through a popular online company. Very happy with the stay. We will be looking to come back here again for sure. Was a very pleasant surprise. The beach was beautiful and easily accessible. We completely enjoyed our stay.

Private beach experience with all you need for a great getaway. John's Pass, shopping, restaurants and boat rentals are all nearby. There are so many things that stand out here: a large living room/bedroom balcony, split bedroom design, full kitchen, and unique water view layout are excellent. It was clean, well insulated, and the elevator was fast! It was really nice having parking so close by. The views were so spectacular, we utilized Uber Eats on multiple occasions just to be able to stay in. The Cafe and bar on the premises were priced competitively and we enjoyed the selections we chose. We used the pool and hottub, cabana rental and will have to plan on using the bikes next time.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. I really like how they provided paper towels, dish detergent, soap and shampoo, and laundry detergent all week! The pool was very nice and big. Much larger than most other hotels I saw. The cafe food was good and the bar was great being right there. Also, easy access to the beach with someone renting chairs and umbrellas right there. You do have to walk about a 1/2 miles to get to restaurants but nice that you could walk to John Pass boardwalk. The room was good size (fit 6 adults and didn’t feel too cramp). Our only complaint was the room furniture was very dirty which made it feel a little unclean at first. The beds and appliances were great, and the bathrooms were nice as well. We had the partial balcony view and was fine with it. Our room was 502S. Overall great experience.

Wonderful stay. Great pool steps from a beautiful white sands beach. Good-humored attentive staff. And such nice guests- we made several new friends. Our family's first stay at Sunset Vistas. We plan to make it our vacation home away from home.

Chris who was at the desk when I checked out along with the woman who all I remember about her was it was her first week on the job and her manager Julie left saying I’ll be back in a half hour with a long line of people at the desk. Those two people were the only kind and courteous people there. Room was disgusting from crap all over the counters to the floor pee all over the toilet seat, shower had crud all over it! And no one came to clean it up for hours. And when they did all they cleaned was the toilet! I cleaned the room ! Absolutely disgusting!! No reimbursement nothing offer to switch to a clean room nothing!

Beautiful location, amazing views! We did the direct oceanfront room, loved that balcony. It was nice to have a small bar and restaurant on-site. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. They were doing some exterior painting while we were there, but it didn't affect us at all. Would go back, no doubt.

Decent place. Bartending staff super rude and the staff when checking out was rude to us, check out at 10 but they were knocking on our door at 9:45. Location is amazing with perfect beach access. Pool and hot tub are nice. The place is under construction and the parking lot is tight if you have a larger vehicle. Some rooms are outdated and a little grimey. Elevators are sketchy. But that all might be on their remodel list? Maybe in like 5 years I’d stay again lol
