We finally got to stay at this gorgeous cottage style hotel! Beach access is right down the way of your room and the heated pool was an added bonus for those not so warm days! Will be back soon!

Quaint, cheap & cheerful place right on the beach. Retro 50s feel. Very tiny rooms, but compensated with plush towels and nice bedding. Only complaints: terrible wifi; and very narrow entrance to parking in back.

I had the most pleasant stay at Beach Haven the last two nights. Booking: the ladies were very responsive, informative, and accommodating over email to help me plan my stay. Check-in: We were unexpectedly not able to check-in during office hours. When we called the staff, they were very helpful and gave us clear instructions for self check-in. We mentioned we were concerned about the cold front, they heated the suite so it was warm when we arrived. They knew we had several children also turned on Cartoon Network for the kids! 2 bedroom room suite: Kitchen- full fridge / freezer with full ice tray. Coffee maker, cream, sugar, and coffee. Paper towels, dish soap, sponge, dish towel, dish rag, knives, small cutting board, ice bucket, toaster, pots, pans, serving spoon, spatula, dishes, glasses, and silverware for 4 people. Broom / dustpan. Living room- queen size pull out couch. Round table, 4 chairs, large tv, armchair. Large bedroom- beautiful, high queen size bed with clean bedding and 4 pillows. Alarm clock with USB A and USB C charging ports. Nice floor space in the room to the right of the bed. Large closet, hangers, folding luggage holder. Small bedroom- similar to large bedroom but with king size bed Only outlets at foot and head of bed (had to move mattress to access plug for c-pap machine). Narrow walkway around bed to access bed, closet, and bathroom. Small/medium closet with same accessories. Bathrooms- one bathroom in each bedroom. Very small with standard (not elongated) toilets in a tiny space. Nothing fancy, tiny tiled shower, hairdryer, hand soap, toiletry shampoo, conditioner, body wash provided, large mirror over sink. Towels for 4 people arranged beautifully: beach, bath, hand, and wash cloth. TVs- smart cable TVs in each room. Not properly on staff wireless so every 24 hours must go to browser app to accept the internet terms for streaming apps. Not in hotel mode so when you login to apps, be sure to logout. Outside suite- beautifully intimate space, well lit corridor. Clothes lines with clothes pins between buildings. Each apartment had outside chair. Several sets of outdoor furniture and hammocks. Adirondack chairs on seawall facing sunset. Games- covered ping pong table area, porch swing, outdoor storage box with badminton rackets, volleyball, ping pong paddles and balls. Volleyball net on beach in front of sea wall. Pool- well heated to 80°-90° F (which was fun for the kids in the cold) several tube floats, pool noodles. Reclining chairs. No lifeguard. Open sunup to sundown. Children under 14 supervised by adult. Beach gear- miscellaneous beach chairs boogie boards. Outdoor shower / foot wash. Beach- beach access is directly off property after going down small set of wooden stairs with railing (no ramp available). Long stretch of sandy beach before the water. Beautiful white sand! Nice beach plants and sea oats. Many seashells! Beautiful little conks and some large brown shells everywhere! We spent half of the day playing in the sand, and the other half of the day swimming in the heated pool! (The ocean was too cold on this cold day!). This room was perfect for our family beach weekend. The staff were friendly, informative, and accommodating. We had everything we needed in an intimate space. Thank you for an amazing stay ???

Beach Haven is a wonderful place to stay! It’s like a hybrid between a regular hotel and an air bnb. The room we had a small kitchenette and a small living area. It is small, but it’s separate from the sleeping room. The price was decent too.

Very bright lights strung up on the property. Witnessed turtles headed towards the property due to bright light. They really need to switch to the turtle approved lights.

Employees were nice enough. The reason I gave a low review is I was charged and extra 41.60 after I checked out. No one said anything till I checked out and was gone for 2 hours. I called and she said they failed to charge me the 25 dollar a day resort fee and tax. Well I never was offered a receipt so I didn’t know what they charged for I just had figured about what I should still owe and I didn’t see anything wrong when charged. When I called I was told they would send the receipt. That was 4 hours ago and still nothing. Our air was out for 2 1/2 days before fixed. Been coming here for over 10 years and do not plan on coming back.

This charming property is in a fantastic location, with everything you need within walking distance. It's the perfect spot for a couples' getaway, offering a peaceful and intimate setting for quality time together. The heated pool adds to the relaxation, and the owner and staff are incredibly friendly. I highly recommend it for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of big resorts.

This review is a recent experience of how much this place is deteriorating. We’ve been coming to this place annually for over 25 years. This is a serious call to action for the property owners and manager - the importance of quality and service matter. Icy and militant treatment of guests is not helpful. Our kitchenette room had a cockroach problem. As a frequent traveler, one cockroach doesn’t always mean an infestation but our room was infested. It became hard to relax and we felt horrible about witnessing this because we have been coming for so long and have built relationships with the staff. However, how we were treated by the manager progressively declined and it became more obvious that this review needed to happen. Each day, the roach sightings increased and we then asked the staff to spray. They did. No improvement. We were offered to switch to another room after initial complaints. We declined. The occupants, of the room offered to us, noticed cockroaches in their room too. They shared this with us once they were checking out. We noticed ultrasonic pest repellers and bait traps in our room (which also adjoins another guest room) which was an indication that they had awareness of their infestation. An apology from the manager was only offered once I apologized for having to give bad news. I tried to share feedback on how cockroaches move inside facilities and how spraying pushes them to hide and travel via plumbing holes. Since “our room was the only problem” because “no one else was complaining,” it was starting to become clear that defensiveness was more important than leadership or customer service. There were active roaches all day (of course worse at night) and all sizes from nymphs to dime size which let us know that breeding has happened. We had roaches on the back of our toilet. We had to wash dishes repeatedly because they would crawl all over them in the cabinet and the silverware drawer along with our coffee pot. We placed everything we could inside our refrigerator. Nothing else was offered to make this right other than saying an exterminator was called and that we had to vacate the room for an appt for them to spray. We then followed up on why the exterminator still hadn’t showed after 2 hours and the response was “sorry, that’s just the way it is.” It was our final day so we left for our flight home with ill feelings and disappointment of the manager’s behavior. Don’t know if the room was addressed. This is a serious health issue for not just us but the staff who works there - the bandaid repairs are not sufficient. Take action and get this once amazing and special place turned around!
