The Fenway Hotel consistently receives positive feedback, particularly highlighting exceptional service from staff members like Natalia, Kaitlyn, and Gianni. Guests appreciate the hotel's beautiful atmosphere, including its rooftop bar and historic charm, and often recommend specific individuals. However, some recent reviews note issues with room size, cleanliness, and overcrowding during peak periods, alongside concerns about inconsistent service and outdated amenities.
I booked the room last minute. Now I'm in a wheelchair and the room that they provide me with 100% ADA Compliant to every aspect. From the moment I pulled up the valet staff was extremely accommodating stating that they would even give you my keys so I can just go back and forth to my car as I please because it is valet only. I said no that's okay but thank you. Natalia at the front desk was so sweet and accommodating and extremely helpful. I then decided to go get food at the Chop House there called HEW. I had a waitress by the name of Kaitlyn, and she was the sweetest and most bubbliest and most down-to-earth friendliest server I've ever had and I would recommend her 1,000%! The food was delicious and extremely reasonably priced. I 100% recommend! And also request her as your server. And then I met a maintenance guy while I was on the roof looking at the beach named Charlie and super friendly and he was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the hotel and the atmosphere and the surroundings of the area. Once again I would definitely recommend this hotel
When a last minute business trip to Dunedin popped up, I reached out to this property to secure a meeting space for a small meeting. I was connected with the Catering Sales Manager, Catie. While all their meeting spaces were booked, Catie went above and beyond to provide a solution for me, which proved to be the ideal solution. Her communication and follow-up was outstanding. When onsite, we had a few last minute and urgent requests before and during our meeting. The Front Office Manager Gianni was exceptional and provided incredible service. While I was only onsite for less than 24 hours, everyone I encountered was pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and fairly updated. The bed wasn't the most comfortable for my preferences, but I'm very particular with mattresses. I can't thank Catie and Gianni enough for their first class service. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at the Fenway again and again.
We had a fantastic stay at the Fenway Hotel. The hotel is beautiful and full of character, and the staff was incredibly accommodating throughout our visit. We loved the rooftop bar, and brunch at the Parlor and Chophouse was excellent. Jaime, our waitress, did a great job and took great care of us. The saxophone player was a great touch and really added to the atmosphere. Would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!
We have stayed at this hotel when friends from up north visit in the area. This time the gym was well ventilated as opposed to last year. Our room 254 overlooked the water. Customer service is exceptional as is the charm of the building. We got complimentary champagne upon checking in. There is live entertainment at 6pm as well as a rooftop bar that is usually crowded a little before sunset. After sunset, most left. Our room was comfortable for the 2 nights we were there. Also valet parking is available and basically a must since there is no parking in the immediate area.
We were really excited for our first visit, but unfortunately the overall experience was impacted by how crowded the property was. We were not informed there would be three weddings that weekend, and the amount of non-guest traffic made it feel overwhelmingly busy. At check-in we also had to wait about 40 minutes due to a fire situation, which we understand can happen, but combined with everything else it didn’t start the stay off very smoothly. When we went up to the rooftop we couldn’t even find space to stand or order a drink, which took away from what we were hoping would be a relaxing first impression. We grabbed drinks from the downstairs bar and sat on an open couch, but were then asked to move by a photographer so they could take wedding photos, which ended up taking much longer than the “5 minutes” we were told. That said, the valet team was fantastic. The guys were friendly, welcoming, and honestly one of the highlights of our stay. They gave us great recommendations for food around town and really made us feel taken care of every time we came and went. The restaurant staff and food were also excellent and definitely a bright spot of the trip. Overall the property is beautiful and has potential, but better communication about large events would really help set expectations and improve the guest experience.
If you like historic hotels, this is for you. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. It was like a small bedroom. The staff were all welcoming and friendly. The location was perfect for walking downtown via sidewalk by the water or the walking path. The restaurant was also good for the meal we had there. However, The pool was disappointing. My suggestions for the hotel would be; have golf carts available for rent- have bikes available for use without having to use an app and credit card. Even if there’s a fee. The app rarely works and is very difficult to use. Overall our stay was very enjoyable but I do think it’s overpriced for what you get.
A great spot for an anniversary or another special day. My wife and I love this hotel as we love the jazz and the jazz age. The hotel has the appropriate theme with great restaurants and a bar. The hotel has a wonderful location And it is not too busy in a times when everything else is. Definitely also a nice place to potentially have a wedding or honeymoon.
Not worth it. The comfort inn down the street has better amenities and it’s not even 1/3 of the price. The room was so small, there is literally nowhere to eat. Just a bed and tv. Shower wouldn’t get cold. I paid $400 for one night just to have loud people in the room next to me and a cold shower… never again
We arrived at 2:30pm, fully aware check in was at 4pm. We just wanted to do the check in process and knew we’d just come back at 4pm. I was not expecting to get in the room at 2:30. Sheyla, the manager, informed me the room I booked was not available until 4:30pm as the prior guest had a 4pm check out. Apparently they are status members which allows for a 4pm check out. I asked if we could just get into another room at 4pm, as I’m standing there with a crying 11 month old that will need his nap later. Sheyla did not handle the situation professionally. I paid for a room with a 4pm check in, but my money isn’t good enough vs the status member’s late check out. She offered me a $50 credit but all I wanted was what I paid for. We had a very poor experience with her. Once we got into the room (late) it smelled like disgusting toxic cleaning supplies. It was not a very detailed cleaning with a
Beautiful views of the water. Walking distance to downtown. They have 2 restaurants, both are amazing and the pastry chef is the most wonderful lady on the planet. The entire staff is lovely. Highly recommend.
