The Fenway Hotel receives generally positive reviews, highlighting its beautiful location, exceptional staff, and unique atmosphere. However, recent stays have been marred by overcrowding, inconsistent room availability, and service issues, particularly regarding valet parking and staff attentiveness. While the rooftop bar and restaurant are praised, some guests have reported issues with food quality and noise levels.

We have stayed at this hotel when friends from up north visit in the area. This time the gym was well ventilated as opposed to last year. Our room 254 overlooked the water. Customer service is exceptional as is the charm of the building. We got complimentary champagne upon checking in. There is live entertainment at 6pm as well as a rooftop bar that is usually crowded a little before sunset. After sunset, most left. Our room was comfortable for the 2 nights we were there. Also valet parking is available and basically a must since there is no parking in the immediate area.

We were really excited for our first visit, but unfortunately the overall experience was impacted by how crowded the property was. We were not informed there would be three weddings that weekend, and the amount of non-guest traffic made it feel overwhelmingly busy. At check-in we also had to wait about 40 minutes due to a fire situation, which we understand can happen, but combined with everything else it didn’t start the stay off very smoothly. When we went up to the rooftop we couldn’t even find space to stand or order a drink, which took away from what we were hoping would be a relaxing first impression. We grabbed drinks from the downstairs bar and sat on an open couch, but were then asked to move by a photographer so they could take wedding photos, which ended up taking much longer than the “5 minutes” we were told. That said, the valet team was fantastic. The guys were friendly, welcoming, and honestly one of the highlights of our stay. They gave us great recommendations for food around town and really made us feel taken care of every time we came and went. The restaurant staff and food were also excellent and definitely a bright spot of the trip. Overall the property is beautiful and has potential, but better communication about large events would really help set expectations and improve the guest experience.

If you like historic hotels, this is for you. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. It was like a small bedroom. The staff were all welcoming and friendly. The location was perfect for walking downtown via sidewalk by the water or the walking path. The restaurant was also good for the meal we had there. However, The pool was disappointing. My suggestions for the hotel would be; have golf carts available for rent- have bikes available for use without having to use an app and credit card. Even if there’s a fee. The app rarely works and is very difficult to use. Overall our stay was very enjoyable but I do think it’s overpriced for what you get.

A great spot for an anniversary or another special day. My wife and I love this hotel as we love the jazz and the jazz age. The hotel has the appropriate theme with great restaurants and a bar. The hotel has a wonderful location And it is not too busy in a times when everything else is. Definitely also a nice place to potentially have a wedding or honeymoon.

Not worth it. The comfort inn down the street has better amenities and it’s not even 1/3 of the price. The room was so small, there is literally nowhere to eat. Just a bed and tv. Shower wouldn’t get cold. I paid $400 for one night just to have loud people in the room next to me and a cold shower… never again

We arrived at 2:30pm, fully aware check in was at 4pm. We just wanted to do the check in process and knew we’d just come back at 4pm. I was not expecting to get in the room at 2:30. Sheyla, the manager, informed me the room I booked was not available until 4:30pm as the prior guest had a 4pm check out. Apparently they are status members which allows for a 4pm check out. I asked if we could just get into another room at 4pm, as I’m standing there with a crying 11 month old that will need his nap later. Sheyla did not handle the situation professionally. I paid for a room with a 4pm check in, but my money isn’t good enough vs the status member’s late check out. She offered me a $50 credit but all I wanted was what I paid for. We had a very poor experience with her. Once we got into the room (late) it smelled like disgusting toxic cleaning supplies. It was not a very detailed cleaning with a

Beautiful views of the water. Walking distance to downtown. They have 2 restaurants, both are amazing and the pastry chef is the most wonderful lady on the planet. The entire staff is lovely. Highly recommend.

The bathroom in my bedroom had no vent whatsoever. Every hotel usually has a built in vent in the bathroom to block out noise that you can put on and it will go shh shh and it will cancel you out so that you could go to the bathroom in peace, but this hotel's bathroom had literally no vent!! No vent at all!! What kind of hotel claims to be so fancy and doesn't even have a vent in the bathroom?!?! We will not be staying at the Fenway again!!

This is my new favorite hotel. The quality of the amenities exceeds the Marriott autograph standards. The hotel staff so friendly and helpful, very easy to actually relax here. And the restaurant, the HEW chophouse, was so amazing that we ate there every night. The food was so exceptional that the restaurant is its own destination, regardless of hotels stay

Being a resident of Dunedin, the area is so lovely and the Fenway is no exception. The Service is stellar, from the Valet Parking Attendants, to the Front Desk Personnel, I have been greeted with smiles and warm-hearted Service. Being a former Swimmer, I no longer have a pool, so the Fenway's pool is especially a perk. The saltwater is clean, as are the poolside Amenities. The water temperature is comfortable. When I have Friends visiting, I will definitely recommend The Fenway to them.
