The Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa offers a prime beachfront location with appealing amenities like pools and beach access, but reviews highlight a mix of positive experiences and significant concerns regarding outdated rooms, inconsistent service, and high costs. Recent reviews suggest improvements have been made to staff attentiveness and guest satisfaction, however, substantial upkeep and renovation are needed to justify the hotel's pricing.

Came with my daughter and family, had an amazing time! The staff especially Lena was absolutely wonderful. I would come back just for the location and the staff. The pools are amazing and the location of having beach access is worth it in itself. The rooms are definitely a little outdated and small for a Hilton but the hotel has been there for so long that I can imagine expanding rooms wouldn’t be in “top” priority. Management and staff on site made this stay feel safe as we were there for the so called “teen takeover” which was a nightmare but the staff handled it so well. I think there could be a little more maintenance and deep cleaning in the rooms but overall was a lovely time.

This hotel is prime location to pier 60 everything is within walking distance. The strip is less than 10 feet away. The pool is HUGE the online photos do not justify how big it is. They play music at the pool and have a cute Tiki Bar on the beach. Customer Servive is excellent! We had a slight issue with our room AC which sometimes happens. The staff fixed it right away and immediately gave us another room that was upgraded! Great customer service is hard to find. This is your sign to book, you will be taken care of here and love the experience. Oh, the hotel is also very family friendly. The offer a lot of free activities like beach yoga, free kayaking and more.

Been coming to Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa for years and sadly the hotel is definitely starting to show its age. Rooms were not ready on time at check in because they seemed very short staffed for cleaning. Thankfully they did give us free parking which we appreciated. Our first room’s AC was not working, but they quickly moved us to another room, so I do appreciate that they tried to fix the situation. Since it was raining and we were stuck inside with the kiddos, we decided to dine at the hotel restaurant. The highlight of our stay was honestly Rushi the supervisor. Earlier that same day I saw him at the pool running around fixing uneven tiles, taking pictures, and making sure things were handled. You can tell he truly cares and works hard. Every establishment needs someone like him. Overall, the location is still great, but the property really needs renovations and updates to match the prices they charge.

You really have to see this place for yourself. This place was amazing. Right on the beach ?! The rooms were very nice, everything was clean. The service was great every where on the property. From the from desk to the people working at the bars. Our favorite was Tommys tiki hut. We did rent a cabana and 2 chairs. I would definitely recommend that to anyone. The Beach in front of the hotel was less crouded then the city beach. This place was great! I will definitely be returning to this resort and I recommend to anyone. Thank you Hiltion for a great vacation ??!!

Rooms were small. Double beds are very small. Seems like they tried to update the rooms but they lack functionality. Service was good for the most part. We needed a microwave and that did take a few hours to receieve. Also did yoga at the beach. Was disappointed as we registered but didn't get towels at the end. Everything is very expensive. Renting the chairs to the drinks. If you want to save money you can bring your own beach gear and you get closer to the water. Location was the best part. The sand is amazing. Pools were nice too.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The service was excellent, especially from a staff member named Dafny, I think that was her name, who was professional, warm, and consistently helpful throughout my stay. From check-in to check-out, she ensured everything went smoothly and was always available to assist when needed. The room was satisfactory, the hotel is well located, and the private beach is a great advantage. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would recommend this hotel to others.

Rooms are outdated. Carpet needs to be replaced and grout in bathroom is nasty. The bathroom is so small that when you open the door, it’s about 1/4 inch from the toilet and no bathroom vent. We even paid $300 a night extra to upgrade. Housekeeping did not come for 2 days and we had to keep calling the front desk for toilet paper and towels. Their excuse was they were low staffed. The walls are very thin. you can hear everything. During our “relaxing” massage, we could hear outside traffic, people talking and doors opening and closing. We were supposed to get a credit for the inconvenience for housekeeping but didn’t receive it. Location is great but the amenities are substandard.

PROS: The check in process was easy and the staff here are delightful. The gym had good equipment. NEG: The rooms are old and outdated. Our room had crusty carpet, the bathroom door had water damage, and the balcony door was rusting. The resort fee is silly. The bottled waters are wasteful, they should add filtered water stations. The pool area was fine but they really need a hot tub for winter months. The common areas need help. They need to create spaces for families/people to hang out. Next door at the wydyham, the lobby had all these cozy welcoming spaces where you want to gather and hang with friends. This hotel is in huge need of an update. We won’t be back.

Shoutout to Sarah at the front desk! She was absolutely amazing and made our stay so special. When we let her know our first room had a mildew smell, she quickly helped us switch rooms with no hassle at all. She also took the time to recommend great restaurants and fun things to do around the area, which we really appreciated. On top of everything, it was my husband’s birthday, and Sarah helped make the experience even more special and memorable. Because of her kindness and great customer service, our stay was the absolute best. Thank you, Sarah, for going above and beyond — Hilton is lucky to have you!

I had a fantastic stay at the Hilton Clearwater/Tampa! The hotel was very clean and well-maintained, and the service was excellent everyone was so friendly and helpful. The location couldn’t be better, close to everything you might need, including restaurants, shops, and the beach. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again!
