Planned on a two night stay but was treated so well, stayed the whole week. Clean rooms, free parking (which is a big plus) and the owners know you by name almost the same day. VERY friendly and one minute from the beach and shops. Prices very reasonable, qnd the service they provide is EXCELLENT. Don't waste your time shopping around, you will not regret staying here.

I would recommend this place. It was very clean and a convenient location to the beach. The owner Stacey is amazing! She took great care of us. We will be staying there again!!

We found this place by accident and we had an amazing time. Joe was an exceptional person who made our experience jet skiing very enjoyable. I highly recommend this place as the people and jet ski are awesome!

My family and i have been vacationing in Clearwater Florida for many years and we always stay at Barefoot Bay. Five star owner Stacey keeps her original florida motel in pristine condition and has amazing hospitality! This quaint place is quiet, relaxing and is conveniently located to everything just park your car and you can walk to wherever your entire stay here. Thank you for having a wonderful place here for us to stay!

Our room was TINY, including shower. Had a family emergency and had to leave. Barefoot would not refund 7 nights we didn't use. Will not ever return. Only things that were good is free parking, clean room and comfortable bed. Hotel is very old.

We stayed for 1 night with our children and some friends and their children as well in 2 different rooms and all had a great experience! Staff very friendly and helpful! Rooms were clean! We enjoyed the pool and pool area was Great and spacious for us to sit and watch the kids swim while chatting. Very Close to the beach, Shopping, and food! Would stay again!

We really enjoyed our quick getaway here. We stayed 2 nights- queen bed and a couch with two small kids. It was tight but very affordable and close to everything. The pool was nice and warm. The rooms were clean. I wish there were a little trash can, but that’s about the only thing I noticed we could have used. There’s a Walgreens right by it. We walked over to Frenchys on the water. 10 minute walk. The beach walk wasn’t bad- we walked with a beach cart and survived. This is the first place to stay right off the main strip (Causeway) so I recorded some things around it to help it make more sense where it is in relation to everything.

Excellent stay!! We had 7 in our group, 5 in the apartment and 2 in a queen double. The facility was small, family friendly, clean, well maintained, and had the best owners and management. Stacey, Dave, and Greg - thank you for making our stay that much more wonderful with your kindness! There were things to do within walking distance, ample parking for the guests, a heated pool, and a laundry on site. We will be back. We forgot to tip our maid and will be sending her a tip when we get home. She is worth it. Highly recommend Barefoot Bay Resort and Marina!

The location was great. Stacey was super friendly and accommodating (and owner). Room was "Key West" cute, very clean, welcoming, light, and quiet. The pool area was clean and comfortable and very relaxing under the umbrellas. Air conditioner worked fine and amenities provided. We left our car parked and we're able to hoof around Clearwater Beach. The trolley runs right out front, active pier two blocks away, and Stacey will tell you best places to eat. The dock area with Barefoot rents jet skis and is a nice place to chill while taking in boat activity. I can't say enough about this place, including the wonderful Owen working front desk. We will return, assuming we can get a room as anyone staying here is going to know what a "find" it is.

I had the apartment suite for my family and instantly they were pleased on how cozy and CLEAN It was. It was such a great experience. Back deck was relaxing.. pool was clean and never overcrowded. They have an ice machine vending machine outside. Cool blue lights for night swimming. The owner was super attentive to her guests. The room was definitely better than expected. The stores was convenient walk etc. i definitely recommend
