We needed last minute pet friendly accommodation for us and our medically fragile elderly cat during major work on our house. The hotel isn’t fancy, is pretty basic, but clean, neat, and conveniently close to our home. Every staff member we interacted with, from housekeeping to management, was friendly and helpful, even brought in a comfortable chair and ottoman since our little old cat is used to spending time in a recliner with us. Breakfast, as well as the grill, was basic but adequate. We enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi for relaxing after checking; both areas were kept very clean. We needed to stay longer than expected, and the staff was very accommodating about the extended stay, early arrival, and late departure. The rate for our stay plus pet fee was quite reasonable.

Jennifer and Alicia give great customer service. Joe the maintenance man was quick to respond and awesome. However. This newly renovated property has NO towel bars in the bathroom. One of our patio chairs is broken. The smart TV in the living room has no guide and none of the apps work nor do the dedicated app buttons. I can't get to my Netflix account using their remote. Also, the phone doesn't work so if we need the front desk we have to walk from the opposite end of the hotel. Or if we need to call 911, we have to use our cell. Which means us out of towers will need to know location information. If you are having a medical emergency and unable to speak, they are required to respond to ensure your safety. How will they know where to go. This is only the first 24 hours. Day 3: A roach greeted me in the bathroom this morning. I heard it may be the norm in FL. The hot breakfast is eggs, sausage links (brown and serve) and parfait. Also the usual mini muffins, and toast. Day 4: Marcy is awesome! She is a woman of her word!

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is recently renovated, and our room felt fresh and updated. The lobby looks beautiful, and the overall vibe of the place is great. It’s super close to Clearwater Beach, and everything you need is just a quick drive away, which made things very easy for us. The staff was amazing and made the experience even better. We would definitely recommend staying here!

This is third time we have stayed here. Love how convenient it is to Baycare Park. The staff at the hotel is friendly and helpful. The front desk is always manned waiting to help with any request. The pool is such a nice option after a hot day at the ballpark. I ESPECIALLY love the Continental breakfast. The food is ALWAYS hot! The women who take care of it sit there keeping watch to see what needs to be refilled. They have just updated their lobby and rooms are next. You can’t go wrong by staying here.

PLEASE READ… If your going to stay in Clearwater or around the area.U have to stay here. From the moment I walked in the door I was greeted with such a wonderful experience from. Great food at the restaurant to amazingly clean rooms. When u book ask for Marcy .she is a wonderful caring woman that goes the extra mile for guest to make sure they have wonderful time.

My husband and I live less then a mile away and needed a room for a few days while work was being dont on our home. Looking into and calling a few different places where we can stay and I wasnt impressed with alot of them but happen to drive by and noticed Clarion Inn & Suites so I called. I had a question the front desk girl wasnt sure and said she will ask her manager and call back. Well her manager called me back and talked with me. I decided with the great customer service to go with them. We loved it there so nice and quite and handy to shopping and restaurants. We were allowed to go back home on Thursday afternoon but decided to stay till Friday morning. I will for sure recommend family and friends here for sure

If you have room 112 it sucks. You guys need to be checked for code because there was definitely mold in the bathroom and you can smell it. You can tell the room was not clean prior to our arrival. I felt so gross and the towels smells like dirty water. Glad you guys put money into a lobby and not your rooms. Would not recommend. Gross

Intown for a special event and made a reservation being unfamiliar with the Clearwater area. Pleasantly surprised with the hotels location right off of US 19 North. Easy In-N-Out from the service road of US 19. Checking in I found the hotel was under some renovations that did not interfere with its operation. Locating the temporary lobby check in what's easy and I was assigned my room. I received a room on the backside of the hotel which was great as road noise was at a minimum. The hotel had a heated pool hot tub, and child pool outside. Breakfast my first morning was great items to choose from including eggs and waffles. I found plenty of restaurants within the immediate area for an evening meal including the original "HOOTERS" restaurant starting in 1983. My second evening in the hotel was uneventful. Check out was uneventful I thought...... Sunday evening I discovered an important personal item at the hotel. A call to the hotel found that housekeeping had secured my item for safekeeping. I spoke to Marcy who assured me the product could be returned. Subsequent conversations, numerous phone calls to Alicia, and Nadia the GM, as well as emails got my item packaged up, and after application of an address label it will be on its way to its final destination. I can't say enough for Alicia and Nadia for all of their help getting this item returned. As a 'Choice Plus' hotel member I just can't say enough how they went out of their way to help me out. If you're unfamiliar with the Clearwater, Clearwater Beach area is this hotel is definitely worth while you're in the area. Thank You again ladies for your help and attention???????

Me and my family have been here 4 times already and we love it here! Very polite at the front desk. Nice hot tub and very lage pool and kiddie pool. Only I would say needs to be worked on is the cleanliness in the rooms....some rooms you can tell were rushed. I used to work in Housekeeping so whenever I go to a hotel I always check for dust, dirt, etc.

The room was comfortable and the onsite restaurant had a nice menu with favorable pricing! The complimentary hot breakfast was great also! During check in I worked with "Marcy" who was very accommodating and a true asset to your staff! They are in the process of finishing up what looked like some nice updates in the lobby area.
