PLEASE READ… If your going to stay in Clearwater or around the area.U have to stay here. From the moment I walked in the door I was greeted with such a wonderful experience from. Great food at the restaurant to amazingly clean rooms. When u book ask for Marcy .she is a wonderful caring woman that goes the extra mile for guest to make sure they have wonderful time.

My husband and I live less then a mile away and needed a room for a few days while work was being dont on our home. Looking into and calling a few different places where we can stay and I wasnt impressed with alot of them but happen to drive by and noticed Clarion Inn & Suites so I called. I had a question the front desk girl wasnt sure and said she will ask her manager and call back. Well her manager called me back and talked with me. I decided with the great customer service to go with them. We loved it there so nice and quite and handy to shopping and restaurants. We were allowed to go back home on Thursday afternoon but decided to stay till Friday morning. I will for sure recommend family and friends here for sure

Intown for a special event and made a reservation being unfamiliar with the Clearwater area. Pleasantly surprised with the hotels location right off of US 19 North. Easy In-N-Out from the service road of US 19. Checking in I found the hotel was under some renovations that did not interfere with its operation. Locating the temporary lobby check in what's easy and I was assigned my room. I received a room on the backside of the hotel which was great as road noise was at a minimum. The hotel had a heated pool hot tub, and child pool outside. Breakfast my first morning was great items to choose from including eggs and waffles. I found plenty of restaurants within the immediate area for an evening meal including the original "HOOTERS" restaurant starting in 1983. My second evening in the hotel was uneventful. Check out was uneventful I thought...... Sunday evening I discovered an important personal item at the hotel. A call to the hotel found that housekeeping had secured my item for safekeeping. I spoke to Marcy who assured me the product could be returned. Subsequent conversations, numerous phone calls to Alicia, and Nadia the GM, as well as emails got my item packaged up, and after application of an address label it will be on its way to its final destination. I can't say enough for Alicia and Nadia for all of their help getting this item returned. As a 'Choice Plus' hotel member I just can't say enough how they went out of their way to help me out. If you're unfamiliar with the Clearwater, Clearwater Beach area is this hotel is definitely worth while you're in the area. Thank You again ladies for your help and attention???????

Me and my family have been here 4 times already and we love it here! Very polite at the front desk. Nice hot tub and very lage pool and kiddie pool. Only I would say needs to be worked on is the cleanliness in the rooms....some rooms you can tell were rushed. I used to work in Housekeeping so whenever I go to a hotel I always check for dust, dirt, etc.

The room was comfortable and the onsite restaurant had a nice menu with favorable pricing! The complimentary hot breakfast was great also! During check in I worked with "Marcy" who was very accommodating and a true asset to your staff! They are in the process of finishing up what looked like some nice updates in the lobby area. Thanks for a great stay!

The room smelled, loud ac unit, furniture and bathroom door had what looked like animal claw marks/damage, poor WiFi connection for business purposes. Under construction, started pressure washing at 9:45am that lasted thru 12pm and we were told we would have to change rooms (a whole section of the building had to move) as the concrete workers would be starting their work the next morning. Staff was nice. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel, not for the price of $90 a night.

The rooms were clean and cozy, and the beds were super comfortable. The only minor issue was the back of the chair falling off, but honestly, it wasn’t a big deal. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. For the price, this hotel is absolutely worth it. I would definitely stay here again!

Let me tell you what this place and the way the check-in process was handled is absolutely top tier outstanding service!! You don't see that much anymore. Marcy was beyond what you could expect! We wanted pool side and the rooms were booked. She upgrade us to the newly renovated suite! Twice! Very friendly and comforting! Highly recommend this beautiful Hotel!!!

Pretty central to everything, room was very clean, and staff were very friendly! They are currently remodeling and updating, BUT that being said it didn't take away from our stay at all! The rooms are quiet, we had neighbors next door and didn't hear anything. The beds are so comfortable, towels are soft, and the rooms are spacious! We had a slight issue with our tv/remote, but we just double checked the plugs and I was fixed. The only complaint (tiny non issue) we had was the toilet was very low. My husband and I are 6'4" and 5'9" respectively, and it was kind of hard to sit down on the low toilet and get back up. This did not ruin our stay by any means though, just a heads up more than anything! We would definitely stay in this hotel if we're in the area again.

Great location! Friendly staff. Breakfast is incredible with coffee to match! The restaurant (opens at 5pm) has excellent food that tastes better than fast food for the same amount of $ or less. Marcy and Jennifer who work the front desk are phenomenal! Just how down to earth they are, professional yet not robotic and unpersonal. Clearly property management recognizes great workers with great personalities, considering they hired two above-and-beyond, customer friendly and gracious employees like these two! Update (1week later): The staff let a random person into my room and all of my belongings, including a $3k laptop, some newly purchased items online, wat h, earrings, shoes, nice clothes, my work tools and other belongings ALL GONE! The Hotel Manager was no help and wouldnt return ANY of my calls or messages, even dodged the officers who were investigating the theft. I left 4 msgs with the fron and took 3 personal visits during lunch in hopes to see the cameras and get answers as to how someone was able to get into my room.They told me, as well as the responding officers, that the cameras werent working, which was a lie because later that day, I have photo and video evidence showing the cameras worked fine later the following day. They lied because they didnt want to take accountability for letting a stranger into my room and didnt even check ID or bother to che k with me first. So while I was at work, the person robbed all of my stuff, were smoking and parting in my room. I tried to speak to someone higher than this Nadia person, but I was getting nowhere at all. They just really didnt care. I wouldnt wish this on anyone! So if you value your belongings and dont want someone getting into your room and stealing your stuff while your gone, DO NOT STAY at this HOTEL! The matter isnt over and we will get justice and find out who was responsible for over $4k worth of belongings that were stolen from me while I was at work busting my behind, with the notion that my stuff was SAFE in the hotel room. If I dont tell it now, it could happen to someone else. Since I couldnt reach any Regional or corporate person to assist, and had given Nadia and the staff ONE TOO MANY opportunities to help, but instead they would ignore me or call Nadia and let her know I was in the lobby waiting for her, so she would just acoid me, I bow have to warn EVERYONE that this is not a safe place to be. Ive been safer in run down hotels at half the cost. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. They obviously dont check ID or even verify details only the renter would know at the very least. All it takes is a keycard and saying what room...
