Great Location! It's close enough to the beaches but far enough from the mayhem. The free-access pool and tiki bar next door helps make the hotel feel like a resort. We will be back!

We had an incredible stay at the Residence Inn this past weekend. My husband, myself and our almost two year old enjoyed the spacious room, the balcony and the suite styled kitchen. Loretta was fantastic in helping us with our accommodations beforehand and day of. The beds were so comfortable and the view from the balcony was breathtaking. We even got to see some manatees in the harbor below. The rooftop restaurant, Vista at the Top, has the most stunning views of the water, great food and great drinks. Sunset on the rooftop is truly breathtaking! I highly recommend staying at this hotel!

Rooms where clean and spacious. Always love having a kitchen and living room. The balcony overlooked both marinas. Good amenities and located next to a restaurant and other small businesses. Very quite, and the bed was very comfortable

Pros: Polite & courteous cleaning (most likely understaffed) and evening desk staff (Tomas, Maya), great location (for outdoors activities) near Fort de Soto Park, St Pete Beach, etc., rooms with waterfront for beautiful sunset. Cons: Front desk staff attitude (daytime staff, young ladies) and evident lack of experience / professionalism. Very poorly managed hotel: relatively new Manager (Chad Ingram) with terrible people skills and ethics, seems unhappy to hold this job, lacks customer skills and genuine care. Rude, condescending, inexperienced Operation Manager (Penny Brooks). Poorly cleaned rooms (management low quality/expectation standards). Bonvoy membership unappreciated and disdained-like. Nauseating stairway smell. Parking daily fee w/tax. In sum: Not worth the spending at all. Better options around with much higher quality/cost rapport. Waste of space. Could have been a great hotel at a great spot, but the building is quickly deteriorating (& opened just in/around 2019) structurally and especially apropos customer service. Management needs (re-)training on customer service (customers are the pillar of businesses and not the enemy), customer expectations focus, good moral/ethics, people skills, communication (enthusiastic and caring vs. being combative), conflict resolution, Bonvoy value, etc.

Very good location, convenient to Fort de Soto park. Rooms are spacious and fully equipped with kitchen, utensils. Very good breakfast and people serving at the breakfast doing great job. But front desk staff can definitely do better especially in terms of helping customers and how they treat Bonvoy members.

We love this Marriott hotel! Super clean, friendly staff and great location!! One of our favorite places to stay. They also have an amazing free breakfast with a great variety of pastries, hot dishes, fresh fruits and beverages. Absolutely amazing! We’ve been here three times and haven’t been disappointed.

Great place to stay. I stayed here two nights. Pool was great. Next door is a nice restaurant with live music and a pool as well. Was nice to have a balcony. Good neighborhood to walk or run in if you don’t want to use the gym. Roof top bar had great views and good food. Would 100% recommend.

The hotel is absolutely charming! The rooms are spacious, comfortable, spotless, and come with a very well-equipped kitchen. The balcony with its bay view is just spectacular. The customer service team is outstanding — always smiling, attentive, and ready to help. Mr. Tomás at the front desk was especially polite and very helpful. Breakfast was varied, the pool and common areas were spotless and well maintained. And the terrace… simply magnificent! Watching the sunset from there is a must. Don’t forget to visit Vista at the Top, its views are truly beautiful, sincerely…We will definitely be back! ??

Hubby and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary here. I highly recommend this place. We stayed in a suite, which was surprisingly reasonably for such a nice hotel, location, and during a holiday weekend! We enjoyed dinner on the rooftop restaurant/bar. Customer service, food, drinks, live DJ, and atmosphere was amazing. Beautiful views from the 7th floor, no mosquitoes, and a wonderful breeze. Ugh...Just perfect. Next day my husband and I went to the beach, then we returned to enjoy dinner at the restaurant literally steps away from the hotel. The hotel gave us a wristband to enjoy the neighboring restaurants pool for free which was so cool. Restaurant had live music, and good food. All that to say, I highly recommend this hotel and we will be returning. ??

The front desk attendant, Loretta, was amazing! She is the best we've ever encountered anywhere. We love this hotel. It's always so clean and well maintained. The free buffet breakfast is a fantastic spread of items to choose from. We'll definitely be back!
