The Days Inn Clearwater Central receives mixed reviews, with some guests praising its affordability, friendly staff, and convenient location while others highlight issues with cleanliness, outdated facilities, and operational problems. Recent reviews indicate a decline in condition and service compared to previous experiences.
The staff at the desk was wonderful. The rooms were clean and spacious with a lot of amenities nice large refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot. Also a large ironing board with iron. The TV had plenty of good stations to watch and it was a nice size The pool was a good plus Well kept
The room was decent overall, though it’s a bit far from the airport. Soundproofing could be improved, as I could hear noise from outside and from neighboring rooms. The hotel has a pool and offers complimentary breakfast, which was a nice perk. Check-in is at 4 PM, and early check-in is available for an additional fee of $10–20.
I was originally skeptical. We have not had good experiences with Days Inn in the past. Room was clean. A bit out dated as far as rugs and furniture but nice and affordable. Beds were comfortable. Appliances worked. Perfect for a short stay. No bugs at all. Which is always a super plus in my book. Pool was clean. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Overall a great stay.
Do not believe the pictures. Pool was not working, wouldn't use it if it was. Room was as clean as they could get it. Carpet was disgusting, smell was awful. If we needed it for 2 nights wouldn't have stayed. Spend the extra $20-$50 for a better place, you will not regret it. Service was good, breakfast was ok.
This hotel is decent if your a single person on a business trip or something where you won’t be in the room much. If you have kids find somewhere else! Was told when I checked in that the pool heater was broke but would be fixed the following day. I stayed 4 nights and it was never fixed. The rooms were decent, but the water smelled like sewer water. Breakfast was good and had good options! The pool being broke and not fixed was definitely a downer on our vacation though.
Recently I lost my home of 20 years. It was a large corporation buying out the complex where I rented for 20 years. I had no family to stay with so I began the search for a room to rent. Most motels were either in bad parts of town, or expensive beyond fair, and rude. I found Days Inn and walked in and spoke with Amy. She had compassion for this sad and broken man. She was polite, empathetic, and a credit to her company. I stayed 2 nights and went back to stay 2 more. All the Staff were excellent customer service reps for Days Inn. It's safe, clean, and very comfortable. If you want great service, clean rooms, and to be treated as a valued customer, look no further than this Days Inn.
It was a nice stay and very budget-friendly—you get what you pay for. We are a couple and didn’t face any major issues. The only improvement needed is fixing the electrical sockets, as adapters tend to fall off. We mostly stayed only at night and spent the rest of the time outside enjoying our trip. Checkout was smooth and hassle-free. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly option, go ahead and book. As a business owner, I understand that it’s difficult to provide a 5-star experience with lower pricing and margins.
My stay at days inn for week was wonderful and Dallas staff was very kind and thoughtful my family stay was wonderful coming he made it smooth and the room service was great and I definitely would recommend to others and the free breakfast was also great. Dallas makes you feel like home and the energy is wonderful.
Rooms are a bit dated, or at least the flooring, still has hotel carpeting but with that being said the room was large, beds comfortable, large TV with limited channels. Very nice having a small kitchen in the room. Kids enjoyed the pool and the continental breakfast. Hotel is on a busy highway, just be prepared for traffic. All the staff was extremely kind and hospitable! We stayed for multiple days and we would come back!!
I’m only writing this review to offset the inaccurate positive reviews. Check in was adequate, but walking into the room it had an overpowering awful chemical smell. The bathroom shower ceiling looked like it was falling apart. I suspect mold was in the walls. I tried to not instantly want to leave, but after developing a cough within the hour of being in the room I decided it was not a safe place to sleep. Do not be fooled by the positive reviews. This place is hazardous to your health. When leaving due to the health concerns the front desk staff refused a refund. Don’t waste your money or your lung health. Don’t stay here.
